Anyone get packs from Twitch Grandmasters?

Did anyone get any packs at all from watching the Twitch Grandmasters over the last weekend?
The few people I've spoken to haven't gotten anything.
Given that apparently 63,000 packs were meant to be given out during the most recent broadcast run, would have thought the odds were reasonably high enough to get at least a single pack.

Got 2 packs :)
watched/idled a few hours
i got absolutely nothing and I will probably not even bother next time..
I do what I must, when I must. Know this well.
2 packs but when 25k people watching/is online chance are slim.

I got nothing, and I had it running the whole day while I was out. You would think that would put some odds in my favor.

I got 1 pack for "watching" for like 8 hours. Interestingly, I only got it after my internet disconnected and I had to reboot the stream - within a minute of coming back online I got the pack. So now I'm kind of wondering if there's some "reverse pity timer" that funnels the majority of packs to "new" watchers (presumably in hopes of keeping them around for a second pack)...
I got one on Friday and one on Saturday. Nothing on Sunday. Few hours watching everyday.
I received 2 packs with roughly 20 hours of "watching" (although I did see quite a few matches). While the matches continued, I was taking a look at the number of average viewers, and the chance of receiving a pack was about 6% (best case scenario given several assumptions). Even though 64,500 (which should have been 1,500 per hour, assuming the schedule stayed as expected and drops were active from start to finish) sounds like a lot, when compared to the 1,161,000 (approx.) potential winners, it's not surprising so few people got anything... I just leave it up, go about my weekend, and anything I get is just bonus.

I "watched" all 3 days, not a single pack. In reality I watched all the EU matches and some of the NA ones.
I wouldn't go out of my way to leave it running again. It was worth watching the EU matches just to see the Feno vs Casie drama :D
I somehow ended up getting 5 packs, only watching EU and NA. The last one was weird and super delayed. It showed up in my game on Monday morning out of nowhere. I think I wasted my luck for the rest of the year. All packs were only 40 dust though.
I streamed the whole thing, from Friday to Sunday and got one pack on Saturday.
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Got one on friday, one on Sunday, by watching about 30h over the whole time. If you don't use the pc anyways, it might be even be cheaper to buy a single pack instead of paying for the electricity bill.
Watched all day in Friday and Saturday and got 1 pack.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but if there are 63,000 packs, and 25,000 people watching, then everyone should get 2-3 packs assuming the packs are evenly spread.
I guess OP just had bad luck. :/

That's not really how it works since each hour is independent - if there are 25,000 people watching each hour, then each viewer has just a 6% chance to get one of the 1,500 packs each hour. So you really only have a 6% chance to get a pack on a given hour - yes to never get even one is bad luck, but statistically you never really have a "good" chance to get one since there's no "pity timer" to compound the odds.
I got super lucky and received 4 packs this past weekend. 2 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday. I was "watching" for about 27-30 hours (overall, over 3 days).
Well "watching" = I muted a tab with Twitch in my browser, because my PC was on at those hours anyways.
This was the most lucky Twitch drop weekend for me so far. Usually in previous ones I received 1 pack on avg, but sometimes I got 0.
I feel a little bad, because I understand, that for one such lucky person, there are 2-3 who received 0 packs. And some of them actually actively watch the e-sports. RNG man...
Had the streams on basically everytime they were live and I wasn't asleep, got 1 pack. It's something I guess.
I got 1 SoU pack. Not bad since i was really watching a few matches! Next time it will be granted 2 packs for 6h so there's that.
Watched pretty much all the EU matches, and some NA and APAC and think I got 4 packs. Seems like I was lucky this time!
I received a pack on Saturday and another on Sunday.
That's correct. 1,5k pack every hour for 25k people. No pity timer and very low chance you get pack.

Where do you have that info?

It´s on the frontpage. https://outof.cards/hearthstone/325-rest-of-hearthstone-grandmasters-season-2-to-have-twitch-drops
Nada, watched the full 3 streams even the hour down on sunday and 0 packs, thanks Blizzard
I got 3 packs on Friday, 6 on Saturday and 0 on Sunday. I had the stream on pretty much the entire time it was live. It seems I was lucky to get this many packs, but as the spread over the days shows, it is very random.
1 pack on Friday, I had the stream on in the background for some 10+ hours during the weekend.
1 pack on Friday, watched all weekend
I got one pack on Sunday. Been 'watching' all the 3 streams that they had so far.

Two packs. Streamed nearly 15 hours
Got 5 over three days. There's not many to go around, but they exist!

His gaming interests range from RTS, action RPGs, shooters, 2D side-scrollers, horror and childhood favorites such as Clive Barker's Undying. His guilty pleasures are World of Warcraft, Path of Exile, Dead Space and Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
got nothing on saturday or sunday but got three packs on Friday
I got 3 packs total - 0 on Friday, 2 on Saturday and 1 on Sunday. Watched 10+ hours everyday - APAC, EU and bit of US. I was lucky I guess.

Yeah I am never doing that again unless it is guaranteed packs
Aberlour 18 Year Old, Balvenie DoubleWood 12, Caol Ila 12, The Arran Malt 14, Auchentoshan Three Wood, Kilchoman Islay 8th edition, Lagavulin 16 Year Old, Glenmorangie Signet, Talisker 10 Year Old.
I got 2 classic packs on Friday and 5 suo packs Saturday. I had the stream open all the time. Didn't even shut down at night. Since our newborn son couldn't sleep I had to stay awake anyway for the 3 days.
I got just one pack, though my total viewing time was only about 5 hours or so. Basically, it's totally not worth watching for the packs. You should watch if you enjoy it, but if you're just after packs, the odds are VERY low.
I watched most of EU and NA. Apac comes on too early for me on weekends lol.
That's when playoffs comes back, playoffs is still several weeks away. This weekend will be random like last weekend.
3 over the course of the weekend, mostly afk of course
Got 3 uldum packs, not sure why 3 and not 2 but I am not complaining..
Watched three days, got one pack on day three. Thought it was bugged at first but i got one ^^
"Are you Mrglgurling to me?"
better reading men thats onlyt for playoff
hhqahah you are a liar tehy did not drop cllassic packs ;
Yes!! I got a total of 5 packs. One of them with the new mage quest :)!
Last weekend I got lucky: 2 packs on Friday, 2 on Saturday, 1 on Sunday.

This weekend i left the stream open uninterruptedly and only got 2 or 3 packs, which is not that bad to be honest, since i already stopped buying packs for this expansion.
Only watched yesterday and got 1 pack. FeelsFineMan I didnt get any from last weekend though despite that I watched satur-sun.
I wonder how many of the viewers that have actually tied their bnet account to their twitch. Hard to estimate your odds without this knowledge, but looking from people's experience, chances seem slime
Can I just say something that might help those that are not getting packs.
You might just be unlucky which is very possible, I personally only got two packs but I learned something that helped.
If you have the volume muted (so there is an X over the volume button) you are not counted as a viewer on Twitch and therefore not eligible for packs. I say this as I know there are lots of people (including myself in the past) that had a tab open and muted just so I was 'watching' the stream.
You can have the volume right down to just above the minimum and that still works. I don't know whether muting the tab (in Chrome) works or not, it should but I've not tried it.
Could you please add some proof of that? Because i had the stream muted for the most part of the time and i still got packs.
I had the tab open and muted for ~27h, and didn't get any. Last week I received two with the same practise.
I first heard about it on a Hearthstone podcast I was listening to as they were talking about the Twitch drops. However, I have tried to find it in Twitch's T&C and I cannot find it anywhere. Some people on reddit tested it and found it to be true by seeing if the viewer was lost when a stream was muted. Then there are others saying that's not the case *shrug*.
I am not sure it would be something Twitch would advertise anyway. It could also be down to Chrome and nothing to do with Twitch.
I'll go with just turning the volume down if I'm not actively watching it just in case. I usually watch all the EU / NA games I can anyway.
I got a pack two days ago despite the stream being mostly muted. Pretty sure I got packs while muted during season 1 as well.
That's interesting, but what I can add is that I have muted tab (of course not all the time cos I was watching too) and it was work.

I use Chrome, been watching all the streams so far ~6 hours per day by average. I just left my PC on and I MUTED the stream. I watched a few games, though, and so far I have received 4 packs.

Muting the tab in Chrome - works well.
I do it this way - volume on Twitch player set on minimum possible (just so there's no "X" icon), video quality set on minimum (160p).
And then right click on Twitch tab in Chrome - "mute site". That's it. You don't have to be active, just make sure the stream is playing in the background. Setting video quality on lowest possible value lets you use less CPU / internet resources as well (well, if you care about that).
I collected 7 packs this way so far. Week 1 -> 4 packs. Week 2 -> 3 packs :)
I think 1 pack per week is max
6 SoU packs up till now and you are right, i looked it up, there haven't been any classic packs in my twitch notification. Don't know where they came from.
So.. I have to admit, you are right sir! My bad.
