Dean Ayala has announced that we're going to see 10 cards have their previous nerfs reverted!
- 5 of these cards are currently in the Wild format.
- 4 of these cards are from the Year of the Raven and are rotating to wild.
- 1 card is currently in the Year of the Dragon sets.
- The exact numbers may still change.
We don't have details on what cards are being reverted yet, though we'd love to know what you think. Which cards do you think are getting unnerfed?
Quote From Dean Ayala Planning on reverting a handful of card nerfs just before the upcoming set rotation. We’ll share details on exactly what those cards are in the next couple weeks but they currently include 5 Wild cards, 4 Year of the Raven cards (rotating to Wild), and 1 Year of the Dragon card.
Sharing thoughts always comes with the risk that things can change, so if those numbers don’t end up being final it was in the name of iteration! I wonder if anyone will guess exactly the right 10 cards. When the time comes we’ll announce them on official Hearthstone channels.

Unnerfing Raza the Chained would be a nice boost for priest in wild as that class is struggling pretty hard and would add an additional good warlock counter.
Just a few days ago they said they won't touch Wild Balances or anything like it.
What's this?
I guess the Dragon Card being reverted comes from Shaman. Either Corrupt Elementalist or Dragon's Pack
and one of the wild cards is Patches the Pirate getting "Rush" mechanic.
I don't know much about Raven's cards.
I think they just said they wouldn't be nerfing any Wild cards
PRAISE BE to our Lord and Savior Yogg-Saron, Hope's End!
Yes! As a wild player I am very excited for this! This could result in a good meta shakeup!
One MUST be Yogg. The rest is really up in the air... From the Year of the Raven, the most likely could be Giggling Inventor and Dr. Boom, Mad Genius and Raiding Party. I can't really pinpoint any good candidate for the Year of the Dragon... Maybe Archivist Elysiana?
Either way, I'm glad they're doing this sort of things, this is really what the game needs and what Wild needs.
so that means dr boom mg is probably getting unnerfed
as for un nerfed year of the dragon cards the only ones i know of are
Sludge Slurper
Mogu Fleshshaper
Faceless Corruptor
Corrupt Elementalist
but chanches are either sludge slurper or facless is being unnerfed
Even after its nerf, Faceless Corruptor is one of the more powerful cards in the meta: every deck that plays small minions runs it and when it's played it often has a big impact on the board. They would be crazy to unnerf it.
I think it's more likely that a Shaman card gets unnerfed, since that class is now relatively weak compared to the other classes. My guess would be Invocation of Frost, since that is the safest revert. For example unnerfing Sludge Slurper would buff battlecry decks, murloc decks and overload decks, so there is much more potential for it to lead to an overpowered deck.
0 chance that Faceless Corruptor is getting unnerfed.
You also missed every single card from the latest balance patch, among many more...
unnerf Patches the Pirate kappa
EDIT: OK seriously. I expect that Raiding Party and Dr. Boom, Mad Genius will be unnerfed because they are rotating. Maybe also Reckless Experimenter?
Regarding the Wild only cards, I hope that Yogg-Saron, Hope's End will be unnerfed.
I am so nervous they're going to choose one of the most frustrating Year of the Dragon cards to unnerf. Here's to them unnerfing like Sludge Slerper or something.
Azure Dragon being standard again should be the best nerf reverted :)
