I would be mad that they didn't release this with Hir'eek and Omega Agent still around, but even with this they wouldn't be playable, so who really cares.
This at least seems like a better approach to handbuff lock given that Dormant minions probably favour a slower playstyle. If you play this in Handlock with [Hearthstone Card (Dark Council) Not Found] you can actually set this up to get Demons with +4/+4, wooooooo
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
It's a solid Buff, but there isn't really a Pay off for Handbuffs in Warlock. And I don't think Zoo would like to play a 2 Mana do Nothing.
But hey, there's still a lot of Warlock-Cards to come!

I am glad they are continuing to push this handbuff thing for warlock (although it is kinda weird they would print this just as rastakhans rumble is leaving standard). Handbuff is fun and I really do want more support for it.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
Blizzard, I'm disappointed.
You missed a chance to call it "Imp-risoned Scrap Imp".
A tragedy indeed to miss this pun!
Looks strong. Warlock has a few strong lvl-1 plays, and can afford to miss the second turn. The pay off will be worth it. This is also great in handlock, I suppose, since you can play it whenever, and create big swing turns.
Based solely on this, you could utilize it in a Zoo deck for the end game in combination with a Twisting Nether so that once you clear, you can recover. But that goes against the essence of Zoo... so I'm confused a bit. Maybe in Wild with some Cube stuff.
Hir'eek, the Bat could be actually good.
What's the most powerful card in Hearthstone?
A credit card.
Handlock without Giants in Standard will be a bit awkward to get used to, but they are pushing it in this direction apparantely.

I wish this was a Paladin card :(
It seems neat, but idk how much play it will get since it seems pretty slow for a zoo deck.
Not sure about this card. Probably too slow for Zoolock, and probably not enough value for Control-/Handlock. Maybe Warlock get's more hand buff cards, since Hir'eek, the Bat and Doubling Imp are rotating out of standard.
A bit slow for Zoo, but a buffing a hand full of +2/+2 Demons even more might be strong :o
Imp-ossibly tragic, his impish imports imply impressively impetuous impropriety.
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Handbuff are *ALWAYS* good right? Right? Nope. Has blizzard learned nothing from [Hearthstone Card (Hi-Reek the Bat) Not Found] and Spirit of the Bat and etc.?
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
poor hireek it's archtype rotated when a consistent way to buff it came around... but being consistent is not good enough.. think this is too slow to be played in a tempo deck.
meh feels like a zoolock card that can be hit or miss. considering zoolock normally don't keep too many cards in hand this will be pretty ineffective.
Strong card with a solid Buff. In my opinion this card with Shadow Council will be a staple combo in Warlock decks
Nice in a Shadow Council meme warlock deck, but too slow on its own.
Handbuff Warlock has never taken off, and this card will not change that.
Too slow, plus you need to time it right to get the most out of the effect. Not as hard for the Warlock as other classes, given their draw potential, but still obnoxious.
the minions too slow for an effect that's never really taken off
Did warlocks really need handbuff? It makes theoretical sense for the hand size class to get hand buff, but this card takes the slowness intrinsic in handbuff and ramps it to maximum. Not seeing this doing well in a world where pirate warrior type decks demand two board clears before this even wakes up.
This post is discussing the wild format.
Handbuffing after you played some early minions? Weird.
Handbuff mechanic is just too slow for Warlock gamestyle and they never stop pushing it.
Unpopular Opinion Incarnate
Maybe a midrange zoo lock that relies on 4-6 mana minions with good effect? Similar play style to embiggen druid.
Too slow, and the buffed minions probably wouldn’t be enough to make up for that
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
Very strong card for arena, as it's one of the most useful of the Imprisoned cards.
This is another that will be much better in wild than standard, as most of Warlock's handbuff synergy cards are rotating.
