I like hearthstone a lot more. LoR is more generous with it's rewards, but that is about where the appeal ends. I don't like the UI or setup for the menu, collection manager etc. I don't like how many keywords and regions there are. I don't like how fast Riot makes new cards. I don't like the turn/rounds system. And just in general I don't think the game play is fun. A lot of these things are subjective and if you like them that's fine. The main point I am trying to make is that LoR simply isn't for me and I just have more fun playing Hearthstone.
I've played HS. MTG, LOR. I just see that HS is better than LOR on simplicity, and to be honest that doesn't make it better to me.
I've put so many time on HS but to me it just become so boring not be able to interact with the other player turn at all.
That point (more or less it comes from MTG) is what makes me love the game. Also of course that you can have in a much faster way a collection to play competitive.
Also another thing to point out, the LOR app for Android it's the best by far.
In terms of competition/streaming: normally the people who watch the championships are casual players that should understand the rules of the game, so I don't see any problem to have a little bit more of complexity to the game.
Not gonna talk to much about MTG on digital, it's so sad that you need to pay to play some modes or to have a decent collection to be honest.
Just to finish, taking in account the lore and the graphic/animations I still go with LOR, HS have loose the opportunity to bring more lore to WOW world.

I played Hearthstone for years and I just started playing LOR 2 months ago. If you dive right in competitive ranked play, like I did at the start, all the keywords can be a bit overwhelming at first (surely because i played 75% of the tutorial months ago) but you get used to them pretty quickly.
I still play Hearthstone too and I think it's in a great spot at the moment (if you got a good collection already) but I'll still prefer LOR at the moment. There is not much talk about the game mode Expeditions but that's the mode I love the most. I always like arena in Hearthstone but lately it isn't that good anymore. Expeditions is better than arena ever was though! I love the deckbuilding style (you chose packages instead of cards) and I played some really memorable matches!
And as said before, it's incredibly FTP friendly! I just calculated that after 2 months of play I already have + can craft 55% of all the champions (LOR's legendaries) in the game! I can easily craft/play every existing tier 1/2/3 deck already.
Specialist is such a snoozefest. Seeing players play the same deck for up to 3 times and having it all come down to who draws their win condition faster just isn't fun.

Also, once you're done complaining about how the meta is specifically targetting you and nobody else you can give Priest a try again because they can beat just about everything except for Warlock and OTK DH (which they can tech in Illucia for).
The Kazakus build is incredibly solid and somehow manages to play like the old control decks where you didn't need some unbeatable OTK finisher and could just win by running your opponent out of ressources and then using yours to finish the job.
Also, if you really hate aggro that much you can try the new Hybrid OTK DH variant with Inqiuisitors because the big heals just shit all over them and you can scam wins if you get lucky with Skull. Completely scumbaggery of a deck tho...
That's like the stupidest thing I have ever heard. This is not a job where 50 of the 100 applicants were male and female respectively. This is a job that everyone in the game wants and they gave to the most popular streamers regardless of their gender. We're not here asking for seats for congress, we're here making a company pay so we can see more woman than there could ever be considerably represented in their ads even tought there aren't as many in the game.
I want to see the outrage because there are not enough man in maxipad ads or enough woman as sewage workers. I get when they ask skills in a job and hire the less skilled men because he was more charismatic even tought he doesn't have the work skills in a goverment job. That's a thing I see and get outraged and do get involved. But in ads for a company that literally just fired for 2 years in a row an entire department of their own company just to not pay christmas bonus??? That's not into people's radar but that suddenly and somehow 50% of the cast on their ads needs to be of women even tought there aren't that many POPULAR STREAMERS that are putting, not only their genitals, but their viewers as their own value???
Even with hard CC it being zero cost and the amount of copies from shadow isle has you will run out of cards before they do ifit had a cost it wouldn’t be unfair. If it just did Maokai effect then I think it would be fair but it’s the best finisher in the game and it’s easier than the others to get too.
Aggro players do you find this matchup easy? Are you able to burn her down before the combo comes up?
This deck isn't half bad. Managed to beat some meta decks and never felt on the back foot, was always increasing pressure on the opponent by going face or clearing board. It definitely struggles with wide boards but only matched up against one token druid and rekt him 😎
i think libram paladin dropped its winrate lately mainly cause of the nerfs to penflinger. theres a minion aggro pally and theres a secret version which isnt aggro, is more a midrange type. try it out:
