velarok's true form is a 3/6 dragon with charge, and discover a card from another class, it cost 3 less.
Mesadune's battlecry splits the minion into two minions, which means stats, costs etc. So your rag is now two copies of 4 mana 4/4 that deals 8 damage at the end of the turn.
Ooooh boy, Reno, Lone Ranger is gonna create a lot of reddit threads 😅 the fact he can remove Sargeras's portal is massive coz that's the main staying power of control warlock atm.
Probably need to watch the livestream but do we have clarification on what "split in two halves" means for Mes'Adune the Fractured and what Velarok Windblade's true form looks like?
Another taunt minion that buffs taunt minions. I suppose you buff this and Blast Tortoise with Unlucky Powderman, then do something on turns 3 and 4, then buff that other card with this. Since I'm not bothering to look at the taunt minions available to Warrior, I don't know if this will do much else.
I feel there's a subtle nod to Pokemon in there. As for the card, Anima Extractor is still around for now, that could potentially get this up to some pretty high damage numbers.
Definitely much nicer with quickdraw, but maybe not completely worthless without it. You should be able to send all 5 damage to one minion if necessary, right?
Patchwerk comes to mind. I'm not sure if this will be as good, as you have no control over when you draw the T.N.T., so you could draw one when the enemy board is empty, or just not draw them soon enough and lose because you didn't destroy your opponent's key card on time.
I'm going to be optimistic about this one. There will be times when you will wake this guy up frighteningly soon. And even when you don't, Warrior can last until it's awake. And then you can copy it.
I think this will be a reliable board clear for the late game. Assuming you've Excavated twice, it's basically Twisting Nether for one less mana, plus a 4/4.
Neat cards. Reno looks great and the others look fun. I'll have to see how they actually work but still exciting. I'm not a battle grounds guy but Duo sounds silly to watch!
Anyone who watched Blizzcon: does his Battlecry remove the minions like The Amazing Reno, or does it remove them like Anachronos? I feel like it's the former, but I'm not 100% sure just from the wording. I also assume based on the wording that it hits locations and permanents as well as minions.
It should poof them, and yes it will remove things like dormant minions, Sargera's portal, and locations.
I fail to see how Reno isn't, like, 10-Mana: his Mage iteration poofed all minions while this is enemy-only, can remove anything (even dormant stuff), plus it can box out the opponent from getting back on the board in a compelling way. Yeah it requires a condition, but still - an obvious auto-include for Highlander decks, and possibly even besides (like Zephrys the Great before him).
Im not entirely sure how viable this card would be outside of highlander decks.
Firstly, Brawl itself is 2 mana less and has no conditions meaning its always gonna do what its needs to do and thats clearing board bar one minion. At 7 mana, even if you do swing board its kinda expensive against aggro, the usual reasons for running removal in decks.
And secondly, there's no reason to believe this card is better than Sanitize 90% of the time.
I feel the card would see some play, because its still a board swing, but not sure if warrior needs it or wants it outside of highlander decks.
The true version is a 3/6 charge minion that gives you a card from another class and cost 3 less.
Honestly, its a good card but obviously can only be played in thief decks. You'll never need a card like this in most rogue decks that arent thief because its realistically not really that great even after it transforms to its true form. Just a nice little card that does something decent, not game breaking or anything.
The charge is interesting, because it also means you can Shadowstep it to do more damage, but I doubt you'll play thief cards in non thief decks just to do this.

Question: Why is Reno (the one that heals you to full hp) and Brann in the standard card pool in the deck maker?
Are they coming back this expansion or is there a reason you or someone else kept them there?
Its not an issue I was just confused by it, I thought they were returning to standard when I saw it.
New Warrior Spell - Reinforced Plating
Warrior definitely likes gaining armor, and this excavates too. This should be good.
New Warrior Weapon - Battlepickaxe
This looks like a great Taunt Warrior card. I don't know if there are enough good taunt minions to make that work, however.
New Warrior Minion - Detonation Juggernaut
Another taunt minion that buffs taunt minions. I suppose you buff this and Blast Tortoise with Unlucky Powderman, then do something on turns 3 and 4, then buff that other card with this. Since I'm not bothering to look at the taunt minions available to Warrior, I don't know if this will do much else.
New Warrior Minion - Unlucky Powderman
It can buff Blast Tortoise, which is something you'll want to do. Not sure what else though.
New Warrior Spell - Blast Charge
I'm wondering if you would potentially pick off some lesser threat just for the excavate. The 3 Mana cost might discourage that.
New Warrior Minion - Blast Tortoise
I feel there's a subtle nod to Pokemon in there. As for the card, Anima Extractor is still around for now, that could potentially get this up to some pretty high damage numbers.
New Warrior Spell - Misfire
Definitely much nicer with quickdraw, but maybe not completely worthless without it. You should be able to send all 5 damage to one minion if necessary, right?

New Mage Minion - Mes'Adune the Fractured
This is legendary?
New Rogue Minion - Velarok Windblade
Seems pretty mid to me. Easy enough to transform, but only a moderate payoff. I'd love to be wrong, though, as it's a really cool concept.
New Warrior Minion - Slagmaw the Slumbering
I'm going to be optimistic about this one. There will be times when you will wake this guy up frighteningly soon. And even when you don't, Warrior can last until it's awake. And then you can copy it.

Reno, Lone Ranger, Hearthstone's First Neutral Hero Card, Revealed for Showdown in the Badlands
Nope: it's been confirmed that you remain the class you are, mainly so you can continue to Discover things. It won't help Tess in that capacity.
