I hope dual-class cards are revisited at least occasionally moving forward. It's fun and makes the game more interesting. We haven't had an "evergreen" concept added in a while - Rush from Witchwood? Given the UI work they did for this, I have some hope; there are certainly plenty more combinations for them to play around with.
This card is INSANE. our poor classy mech Jeeves finally got powercreeped. Also Jeeves to this day still sees play, so that's why i'm guessing Voracious Reader will also see play in a lot of decks. Here are a few examples of decks this will probably fit in perfectly:
Murloc Shaman, Murloc Paladin, Egg/enrage warrior, Burn mage, and spell-damage shaman? The best deck for Voracious Reader is probably burn mage, because they often run out of spells or don't draw their combo pieces. (Which is why Burn mage & secret mage decks in wild use Aluneth.)
Also in WILD: THIS IS EVEN COSTED! This will certainly fit in decks that blow outta resources FAST, like Even Hunter and Even Shaman. (Just to name a few) This will certainly replace Jeeves in most decks, but not all. The exceptions are: Mech decks (they want to mechnetise onto Jeeves) and of course: Fatigue decks.
This has a lot of potential in Arena as it adds more minions for you to play. However, I wouldn't bank on it bringing a lot of value into the specific minions that it will add. I doubt that you're going to get Armagedillo numerous times to make that ridiculous.
I wonder if they didn't make this 3 mana because they want all Ragers to be bad, or whether they found that it was actually too strong at 3 mana while play testing.
I mean even if you have some broken Death Knight hero power, it is not worth running this 1/1. you might just pay full 2 mana instead of discounting it by 1...
So this is amazing in Hunter, because of the inspire "After you use your hero power" cards like Phase Stalker. Actually Tour Guide on turn 1 let's you turn 2 HP + Phase Stalker into a free secret. This seems strong to me. Also in mage it's a Elven Archer, in warlock a slightly worse Kobold Librarian, and in paladin it's basicly Lost in the Jungle. This card has a LOT of potential!
IN WILD: NOOOOOO! this card let's quest shaman double Shudderwocks battlecry! This is honestly extremely scary and will steal games.
I can see in Wild where you have a slightly higher pool of minions to choose from that have Rush. In the current meta, if you are already running the Rush minions you want, you have a slightly good chance to get another Restless Mummy, but I don't think it is worth putting in a deck directly. Now as a spell you can get from Cobalt Spellkin, it becomes a bit better
This card is like Witch's Cauldron only that it's effect is exhausted immediately after you cast something. Given that it costs (3) mana to get on the board as is, it's kind of meh in constructed formats.
On paper this minion is 1 health shy away from Stranglethorn tiger - both are 5 cost minions, both have 5 attack, both are beasts. However for 1 health less this minion will draw you two cards on the next turn if your opponent doesn't use an AOE to clear your whole board (and if they use an AOE to kill 1 minion you're winning).
Back in ONiK when Beast Hunter was a new archetype the deck lent itself to a tempo/midrange deck that wanted to play efficient minions on curve and then make them stronger with Mark of Y'Sharaj or duplicate them with Menagerie Warden. Like most Tempo and Midrange decks it suffered from a lack of card draw (Mark of Y'sharaj did draw a card and so did Wrath, but oustide of those two I don't remember much draw in the deck).
So a minion with stealth that should be able to draw you two cards is a huge must include in any Druid deck that wants to run beasts in a midrange deck.
With the new spell Animale Guardians you'll be able to summon this minion and give it rush, allowing you to activate it's draw effect the turn it hits the board. combine with embiggen and you'll be able to summon a 7/6 with rush that draws 2 cards
I do like this content because honestly, I am a casual player. I don't have a lot of time to dedicate to doing deck crafting. Usually, when I do, i get frustrated at it's performance. But really, I shouldn't because others, like this group, have dedicated a substantial amount of time and effort into creating these decks where as I just say, "hey, that card looks like it will do well. I should make a deck that utilizes it and no one can deal with it." Wretched Tiller is a perfect example. When I saw it, I couldn't wait to play it. Then when I did, man did it suck. So I really can appreciate the theorycrafting ahead of the release.
With divine shield this can be buffed easily in those PP (paladin-priest) class, i'm not gonna shock to see this will be change in the next balance patch.
I'm skeptical about this card. 6 mana 12/12 seems really good, but i feel like spell-damage/burn decks might not want such a late game minion. They probably want their opponents to have 0 hp by then. But hey 12/12 on turn 6 shouldn't be underestimated. My guess is that it will certainly see experimentation, but it will fall off quick.
I love that flavor gets added regularly and changed as often as well. Things like this keep the game interesting and prevents it from becoming stagnant.
From Sketch to Fresh - How this Month's Ranked Card Back, Rise Up, Was Baked
Was expecting to see a recipe here, where you bake exactly that.
Scholomance Academy
Alright, it's less than a week for a new semester at Scholomance. Can't wait!!

Tour Guide
I can see this being played in a Zoolock with Magic Carpet, EVIL Genius and Disciplinarian Gandling. Or perhaps in a deck with Brittlebone Destroyer and Flesh Giant.

New Neutral Minion - Sneaky Delinquent
Well aside from stealth synergy like rogue, i don't see any other deck who would run this. The effect of becoming a ghost is cool, though.
Divine Rager
I wonder if they didn't make this 3 mana because they want all Ragers to be bad, or whether they found that it was actually too strong at 3 mana while play testing.
New Neutral Minion - Smug Senior
Since you have to play the ghost again makes it really awkward and i think not worth your mana.
New Neutral Minion - Ogremancer
5 mana minion with 7 health to counter spell slinging, could have burned some of enemy removal but overall it's not worth it.

Carrion Studies
But why do you run Dwarven Archaeologist in a first place?
New Neutral Minion - Intrepid Initiate
T1 this + T2 coin edwin = 3/2 and 4/4 for aggro rogue, but in general idk if aggro want to play spell in the first few turns.

We May Already Know the Next Legends of Runeterra Region for Release in August
Alright, it make sense with the event still going on, thanks.
New Neutral Minion - Fishy Flyer
Cool concept actually, but it has a too general effect idk which deck would want to run it.
New Neutral Minion - Manafeeder Panthara
Amazing DH card, and good in classes with bad card draw. Will see plenty of play.
In wild: I'm afraid of this card. This will see play in nearly every EVEN deck thanks to Genn Greymanes hero power cost reduction.
New Neutral Minion - Enchanted Cauldron
Too random for serious use, but games don't have to be serious all the time, right.
New Druid Minion - Twilight Runner
On paper this minion is 1 health shy away from Stranglethorn tiger - both are 5 cost minions, both have 5 attack, both are beasts. However for 1 health less this minion will draw you two cards on the next turn if your opponent doesn't use an AOE to clear your whole board (and if they use an AOE to kill 1 minion you're winning).
