I feel (and I might be wrong) that Elusive in constructed is just solid against everything if both players draw well. And is just horrible racing them to going face. Feels awfull to play control and not draw well enough to deal with they board, and feels awfull to play midrange and get outvalued.
Maybe is just me. And don't get me wrong, I play Elusive decks sometimes, just feel overwhelming.
No, I think you're right. Looking at the popular deck lists right now, I think the bigger problem is that the current card library lends itself to a beautiful curve moreso than any individual card. You've got 6 one-drops, 6 two-drops, 6 three-drops (choice of either Zed or Monk), 6 four-drops, plus if you do go off-curve you've got some great cheap support from Elixir of Iron and Twin Disciplines. You also get fantastic synergizes: both one-drops love being picked up by Navori Conspirator, Greenglade Duo gets extra damage from Zed, everything loves the buffs from Omen Hawk, etc. The whole thing is just a little too efficient for my taste.
Incidentally.. I've been poking fun at it, but it would be pretty sweet if levelled Lux generated Finales Funkeln instead of Final Spark :3
My native language holds many sweet alliterations ;). Although, just in case you're interested: The meaning of "funkeln" is somewhat different from "spark." It's a verb which roughly means "glitter" or "sparkle".
It just sounds cooler. How is it pronounced? fin-aal-is fun-keln ?
Yeah, it's German. I had no idea that Riot originally used that term as her ultimate spell's name in the English version - that's kind of crazy :P. I just checked to confirm, and it's indeed still the name of the German ability (When I played League, I installed the game in English, so I never found out about any German names).
Squidface can go, for Eater/Mystic and you definitely need Leeroy in there as well.
In general, I think Kingsbane can and should occupy a niche similar to Pirate Warrior, where you trade the bare minimum to protect your board, but going Face the rest of the time.
The reason that I decided to change the cost to 4 was to avoid creating infinite turns by making it unable to copy itself.
Am I missing something?
I see what he's saying. Time Warp itself costs (5). Even if you can't go infinite from copying Presence of Mind, you could still make 2 additional copies of Time Warp. Honestly I don't see this being anymore of a problem than Archmage Vargoth into Time Warp.
The issues with Time Warp and Mage in Wild are already something being "watched" by Blizzard. I'd say don't worry about Wild interactions too much.

There is still the infinite turn combo with Time Warp which just shouldn't be possible. As long as you have any minion on the field you will be able to kill your opponent.
Considering changing the cost to 4 or 6 to avoid infinite loops with two of this card and Time Warp in hand.
Would this be too strong at 4?
Very good point about infinite loops. Though not sure how useful that would be. It's not really a win condition to copy big spells in your hand, and you still need the mana available to use all those big spells you are generating. Not to mention hand size also being a limiting factor.
I don't think this would be too strong at 4. Powerful, yes, but I think acceptable. Since it is only copying spells that cost 5 or more, you still need the mana available to use those spells.
I realy don't get why so many players want to see Divine Spirit to go to the Hall of Fame. I mean i haven't seen that card in play for almost a year now .... at least not since the release of DoD - so i do not see a problem - or am i missing something?
Simply because of future cards and what this card would do? maybe i'm a little sentimental about that card because Priest was my first golden Hero and is my favourite class and maybe that's why i do not see this as a problem.
So far i have no idea which card should be Hof`D ... maybe Backstab - i have to think about that a little :)
Combo Priest was a T1 deck just recently during SoU. That deck was about abusing the Divine Spirit/Inner Fire combo.
The problem is it is the only win condition for Priest, and one that has existed since Vanilla. Not to mention the restrictions to card design that this card creates.
Yes it was a T1 deck - so were others - but right now (since DoD) that card has not seen any play.
Quest/Rezz Priest sees lots of play with other win conditions so i guess Divine Spirit is not that problematic as many think. But i understand if they would HoF it because of future cards but right now i simply do not see it as a problem :)
Even tough i like it i also think Alexstrasza could be a HoF candidate!
KANSAS: I prefer Ritual of Rejuvenation. It might be a bit too strong for the cost, since you're guaranteed to discover something good. I don't like double discovers so no Eaveadrop for me, Hellrat is too weak because of board space maximum and no offense, but the spider is boring.
I like the spider, I really want beast druid to be a thing. Do you think there is a way I could change it to make it more interesting? Or should I just submit Ritual of Rejuvenation?
First of all: it's just my opinion, there surely are lots of people who like beast druid. If you want to make me play this card though, you could try and rise the power level: make the deathrattle summon two copies! I guess that would have to show in the rarity and the stats, but it would certainly make me wanna try it out.
I just realized that this would make it a beast-restricted Carnivorous Cube that doesn't kill the target... sounds frightening, but also very cool.

With respect to the "elusives in expedition mode" problem, if that were the only problem with elusives then I'd say the real fix would just be to rebalance the various bundles and their frequencies to limit the number of elusives that show up. Most elusives have fairly low HP, and can be beaten with numerous removal tools so long as they are not overrunning the board.
The problem of elusives in constructed is harder. Riot has said that they want other types of aggro decks to be be able to push damage faster, and it seems like they're trying to create a bit of a push-pull in the metagame around which aggro decks are best. I wonder if the only real fix for elusives is new cards (especially new AOE) to help control players.
Seems like the aggro way of doing it. I'm thinking of cutting something for silence or two, possibly for an eater of secrets due to high numbers of mages currently on ladder.
Incidentally.. I've been poking fun at it, but it would be pretty sweet if levelled Lux generated Finales Funkeln instead of Final Spark :3

I have no grasp of German (at least I assume it's German? Purely a guess) - I'm just an old school League player who remembers when that was the ability's actual name before Rito decided to change it to pander to those among us who get confused when reminded other languages exist :P
Too bad I kept both my Twisting Nethers for that exact situation and set up lethal right after this whole mess with a 0 mana Deathwing, Mad Aspect on an empty board.
Needless to say, after the match I got a friend request wishing me cancer and my mother to die. Oh man, when your opponent feels the urge to friend you to insult you it means that you really played well or that you highrolled pretty hard: it's one of the best feelings this game has given me, hands down.
Mill version is too slow and dies from Aggro (you have more chances by going Wall-Mill or hyper-Mill).
You should go Aggro yourself with tutors for the dagger - but it's still too slow compared to current Aggro or Tempo/Burn decks in Wild.
Old Kingsbane used to be strong because of the insane healing, providing survival in the face of Aggro, AND Burn power for itself. Atm it's just Burn power, and not even so fast at that...
Elusive units still a problem - Relentless Persuit is too cheap

Maybe with the rotation Raiding Party will go back to 3 mana: that would help the deck a lot more than you think

So... long story short: playing as Quest Warlock against Quest Druid.
My opponent manages to empty his deck and play back to back Ysera, Unleashed into Flobbidinous Floop as Ysera, Unleashed into a third Ysera, Unleashed generated by Emerald Explorer.
Too bad I kept both my Twisting Nethers for that exact situation and set up lethal right after this whole mess with a 0 mana Deathwing, Mad Aspect on an empty board.
