  • PapaJason's Mech Paladin

The deck is surprisingly efficient without a silence. At one point I traded out a True Silver for a a silence. Sometimes you just run into a bunch of situations where you need it and sometimes you don't. Just tech it in if you feel the need for it!

I see old deathrattles getting nerfed because of the new mechanic, similarly to how old mechs were nerfed for magnetize. That by itself gets me to not like the mechanic.

    how so?

Honestly at this point I have no idea. This is T5 we're talking about, that nerfs memes (Raging Worgen Warrior/Shadowboxer & actual tier decks alike). There is no actual predicting how they wreck cards/decks anymore. All they need to do is fabricate a reason to justify a nerf and it will be done. New mechanics are the perfect time to do this (again look at what they did when magnetize became a thing)

I forgot... what did they nerf cause of magnetize?

why would they nerf deathrattle minions?

  • [Game] Build a deck that includes two cards from any 15 set/expansion

After watching this video, I think we should play a game. Refer all card sets/expansions here, then build a deck mentioned by the title. Note that Basic/Classic/Hall of Fame are also considered as card set or expansions, which means that you can use them, too.

So, I will start with Dragon Priest...

  • [OOC-91] Is Deck Score Sorting Bugged?

    Quote From Esparanta

It looks like sorting of personal decklists and general decklists by score aren't fixed. Better have a look of it.

You are correct, a fix is still needed for this! Sorry for the extended inconvenience of this bug; it is noted and should not be much longer before it is rectified.

  • Card Database Not Updated

You are correct, it seems the updated image was not rendered with the rest. This will certainly be corrected

  • Lack of control deck options?

Honestly lack of fresh control options is what happens when the designers of the game you play insist on saying that classes like rogue, paladin, druid, etc aren't supposed to have control strategies 90% of the time. It's pretty laughable really that they designed rogue to not be a control class when in WoW rogue is the epitome of control in pvp with their various CC toolkits and stunlocks to lock healers out of the game, but hey what do I know?

  • [Wild] Miracle mage versus big priest

If their summons are perfect, it's pretty hard to win.

But not impossible: hold your burst power as much as possible, freeze with Ray while rushing for the Quest.

Once the Quest is ready, gather more burst, while paying attention not to wait too much.

The window is narrow, and not easy to spot, but it is there, and Miracle Mage owns tons of burst.

PS: you can include Archmage Vargoth for triple turn (and increased burst).

  • New Shaman Quest Revealed! - Corrupt the Waters

Maybe this Quest and the other new shaman card EVIL totem will start a new meta - Lackey Shman, similar to lackey rouge

  • bondage warrior

This is totally the kind of warrior I love to play. Thanks for sharing.

Do you have a wild variant for this deck ?

  • Control Paladin

I think he is well worth crafting if you plan on playing Paladin decks since he's a classic card and I doubt they're going to mess with him any time soon.

  • Control Paladin

There is tons of room for experimenting with card swaps, but I really just enjoy Witchdoctor. I have a soft spot for discovering cards for the current situation/matchup you're dealing with and she has done her part numerous times.

As for the Dragon Whelplings.. I'm trying my hardest to stay away from mechs. Hecklebot isn't a core card and could easily be replaced(has even lost me a few games playing him poorly). Zilliax is just too amazing at what he does to drop him so I can't go full no-mech.

  • New Shaman Spell - Corrupt the Waters

I admit I missed the last part of the earlier post about the decks that go to late game. Still it happens ofter than just with big priest, druid and even lock. Eg warrior, mechathun priest & lock, even and murloc shaman all currently bring me to late game too.

I don't look too much at tierlists so I cant say for sure but if it can be brought to #1 legend I'd wager the problem is more at other players than the deck itself. Also the list mentions it as new variant with hope so maybe there's not enough data?

Still jades are only a part of the cards that get benefit from this card, be it draws, card generation, heals or AoEs. I think you value the midgame jades bit little. Even if lategame jades dont get value vs aggro/midrange the midgame tempo boosts this card gives should. Ability to suddenly get 1 or 2 extra jades is quite big when trying to stabilize. Especially easier vs midrange decks that don't kill you as fast.

Abiity to ramp up tempo is also great vs those combo decks as they might have to spend resources where they dont want to.

  • Let's talk about the new design of each explorer

I think these are just their "action shots" and not necessarily saying anything about how we will see them in the set story or cards. Just think how many times you or someone you know has had a photo at a weird angle or bad timing that shows an expression that makes you look kind of stupid or psyco stalker. Happens to me all the time when a attempt to partake in the modern art of "selfies". These shots are just trying to make them look badass and really excited about what they are doing, with, as you have pointed out, mixed results.

  • [Wild] Miracle mage versus big priest

Don't kill any minions except Barnes, until you have completed the quest and feel confident that you could achieve lethal. Keep stalling until that happens.

I haven't played it in a while but checking my stats, I had a 66% win rate against priests, most of which were big priests, I assume

  • Tess Rogue

    fun list.

  • what is the point of king mukla

Add to that, he's a nice highroll on anything that sticks a "random 3 cost minion" or "random beast", thru evolve mechanics or whatever. Thing is, it's a classic legendary, and times were different then - you could dominate with a well timed Chillwind Yeti :)

  • C'Thun Corrupts the Jade Waters

I think that C'Thun isn't worth at all, you run 7 really bad cards (in wild they are abysmally bad) to buff one card that only works post turn 9 (which is rare in wild) that you might never draw..

I think the C'thun part isn't worth at all, it's too weak.. you have to remember it's wild and C'Thun was only played in warrior and druid and that also only for 1.5 expansions after jades came out a successful C'Thun deck wasn't seen ever again.

Jades are good.. Shudderwock might be good enough if you can fend off aggro but C'Thun is bad.

Fought this on ladder while I was playing Murloc Shaman. I hate this deck and want to play it. Bondage Warrior for life!
