Hm, so Reborn will most likely have a "bubble" or some kind of visual effect like divine shield minions? That is good! I was affraid how would we tell, if Reborn triggered or not and if they made tokens of the cards without it for example. Seems like they did think it through for once :)

  • which legendary should i choose

    Quote From Majere

    Welcome!

Leeroy Jenkins is the first legendary I tend to go for when I'm building a new account. He's in the classic set, so he shouldn't rotate out, plus he's a mainstay in a wide range of low cost, aggro decks. Zilliax is similarly good, although he rotates out next spring.

Having said that, as others have said above, you're better to focus on the deck you want to play, then work out which cards you need for it, rather than focusing on crafting standalone cards

Whizbang the Wonderful and Zayle, Shadow Cloak are great cards if you just want to play a bunch of different decks and explore different playstyles, but they aren't really competitive and aren't the  best picks if you're trying to build a collection

Well just because something is in classic doesn't mean it won't rotate out (via HoF). Remember, this is T5 we're talking about the same group that backpedaled so hard away from the concept of an evergreen set and decided to go with HoF

OP didn't listen and went ahead and crafted Brightwing anyway. Which begs the question why they created a thread asking for suggestions in the first place.

    Oh well, their loss.

They created a thread asking for suggestions to help decide between Brightwing and High Inquisitor Whitemane. I am not saying everyone was wrong to suggest they craft something better because personally i agree, but they obviously really wanted one of these two and had fun with it. Can't blame them for having their own brand of fun.

Yeah, We all forgot people wants the answers of 'their' questions, not the correct one. Our mistake sorry. :)

But well, the title says "which legendary should i choose", it doesn't say "let me decide between those". Anyways, Sometimes I tend to act like people actually wants help.

Yeah, I'm a bit pissed because I don't even have Brightwing yet. :D

  • How to Use Amazon Coins to Purchase Cheaper Hearthstone Packs

I live in Thailand and I play hearthstone on the Americas server. If I buy the coins from Amazon US, will I be able to buy the bundle using the US coins. I mean will the "pay with coins" option pop-up when I'll buy the bundle?

  • Hearthstone devs responded to a number of questions...

I saw lots of concern about Reborn, not Loti tbh.

  • Hearthstone devs responded to a number of questions...

Lots of concern about Wardruid Loti in this Q&A. I guess people are afraid of a crappy legendary becoming something more with a combo. Also, can't wait to use this combo. Just to use it. Poisonous, taunt, bla bla bla.

I'm simply copy-pasting here since I did not collect them.

Some of the responds on reddit, twitter, personal pages and official sites have been collected together in this article; Anyone who couldn't get these news can read them in this thread.

Sorry for the link but its for only proof purposes that these informations are real.

Also There is some news for Mobile Hotfix.

Hearthstone devs responded to a number of questions...

    1. Q: How will Electra Stormsurge work with the Hero Power from completing the Corrupt the Waters quest?

A: The reward works the same way as Brann Bronzebeard or Murmuring Elemental, so there is no change to the mechanic. Battlecries will still only happen twice.

    2. Q: Can we have 2 active Quests at the same time?

      A:
No, only one Quest can be active at any time. The second one cannot be played until you finish the first one.

    3. Q: Will both Quests appear in the mulligan?

      A: Yes.

    4. Q: Does Questing Explorer work with the original Un'goro Quests as well?

      A: Yes.

    5. Q: Do Reborn cards count twice, when it comes to resurrection mechanics, etc? Once for the original card (with Reborn keyword still active) and once for the reborned card (with 1 health remaining)?

A: Yes. Deathrattles would trigger twice as there are two copies in the pool of dead minions. Note that if resurrected, the 1-Health version will come back with full life and Reborn keyword - the two copies are functionally identical. Works basically like the paladin secret (Redemption).

    6. Q: Does Reborn set the minion’s life to 1 Health or deal damage until it has 1 Health remaining?
Q: How does it track if Reborn has triggered?
Q: If I copy a Reborned minion, do I get a Reborn keyword back on the copied minion?
Q: What happens if I Silence a Reborn minion with 1 Health?

A: The minion returns with 1 Health remaining, but it can still be healed to its normal maximum Health.
A: You can tell that Reborn has been triggered via the visual effect on it (similar to how you can tell that a minion's Divine Shield has been used up).
A: If a minion started with Divine Shield, then that Divine Shield got used up, copying it wouldn't give the Divine Shield back. Same with Reborn.
A: Silence does remove the Reborn state (again, same as Divine Shield).

    7. Q: Sir Finley Mrrgglton is shown riding his loyal steed. What is the name of this magnificent beetle?

A: Jeweled Scarab is the type of mount he´s riding, what do you think he should name this one?

    8. Q: Ossirian Tear's text states: “Your Choose One effects have both effects combined.” But how does that effect Wardruid Loti?

      A:
We often go with text that is easy to process on your first read and this is a good example of that. We talked about writing "all effects combined" to make it more clear in the case of one legendary at the cost of being less clear in every other case and decided not to do that. (Editor - by that answer we can deduce that all 5 (editor's editor note (me) - There are 4 effects aside Wardruid Loti without a form) effects will be combined at the same time.)

    9. Q: Sir Finley Mrrgglton is a Mage?

A: Reno's class is based around what amazing loot he has most recently found. That means for this expansion he is a mage because of his gun of magic wands. Sir Finley Mrrgglton is a paladin btw.

    10. Q: Will the Saviors of Uldum characters have the same stats as they did in League of Explorers?

A: Matching stats like that is a nice to have so that people see the link. It is one of those design things that feels good. However those numbers are really good for balancing cards and determining what else you can combo them with. There are a ton of factors that go into deciding the numbers on a card. The aesthetic of matching numbers vs balance vs tempo vs combo potential.

Blizzard responds and issues hot fix for Patch 14.6 issues on mobile devices...

    Quote from Chris Sierra

    Well Met Friends,

With the recent 14.6 update, we identified some pesky bugs that needed squashing. We are currently rolling out a fix that will resolve the following issues:

    • Fixed an issue where hitting the home button while in a match on a mobile device would not bring you back to your match.
    • Fixed the “Global Asset Cellular Download” pop-up from showing.

As for the login issues on Mobile, we are still investigating this. There is a workaround that should work for you in the meantime: uninstall and re-install the app. This should let you patch up properly and not get stuck at the Tavern doors. Sincere apologies for the miscommunication on my previous post!

It’s now live on Google Play and should be rolling out on iOS soon.

Please let us know how the experience is on this new patch! We’ll be sure to keep an eye out for any other issues that could crop up.

    Have a great week!

    Cheers,
    Chris_Attalus

Edit: I have edit the text for addressing cards for outof.cards database also want to make some sharing with my own thoughts about something that I learned recently from this article.

    • I would guess 2 quests at the same time would be impossible for Hearthstone's mechanics but I have doubts in my mind. Honestly, This quest news has relieved me.
Also I would guess Questing Explorer will work both expansions' quests and that also made me happy to hear.

    • If the Wardruid Loti situation true, It will be great to have her since combined Loti will be good in paper. If you planned to disenchant her, wait until Uldum release. It will be cool to see her combined form in standard.
      Btw with Ossirian Tear what Wardruid Loti shapes into;
      Wardruid Loti(90224).png

    • There is one more question at 6th section about Reborn keyword as " What about bouncing?" but it seems Celestalon forgot to answer that.
We can learn the answer from 5th question's answer. it says if the Reborn minion which loses its reborn is resurrected, it has also reborn and other texts. So if we put a reborn minion which dies and summons the minion with 1 health to our hand, it will have reborn too. At least that's what I understood from that answer. If I'm mistaken please let me know.
  • Medivh's White-Eyes Blue Dragons

Yeah, he's been in my crafting list for a while now. Once the next expansion launches I'm pretty sure I'll go no further without him.

    Quote From Synesthesy

Let's say that if they print a Priest spell "give a friendly minion reborn".... well, I'll be a little worried.

    Anything else will be fine.

I don't think there will be a spell like that because of Desperate Stand.

If there will be, it needs to be 2 mana or have another effect too like draw a card/restore health/gain armor etc. because it would be meaningless to have something similar as 2 different cards.

They need to add something interesting to "give a minion reborn" card like how [Hearthstone Card (Feracious Howl) Not Found] and Shield Block are mechanically different but does the same thing most of the time.

Ok Deathrattle that summons the minion with 1 health remaining and Reborn are different things like how Charged Devilsaur and Rush are different but well, it will be boring to see that.

I think you can probably safely craft brightwing but hold off on Whitemane. A better legendary in her stead would be something like zilliax as he is relevant to every deck in hearthstone right now just such a valuable heal. He may not look flashy but he gets the job done. Although he will be rotating so keep that in mind.

Yes! Zilliax is (arguably) the best legendary in standard. you can play him in just about every single deck you make. he is versatile and strong.

another wonderful choice would be Whizbang the Wonderful

either one of those would be loads better than brightwing or whitemane

OP didn't listen and went ahead and crafted Brightwing anyway. Which begs the question why they created a thread asking for suggestions in the first place.

Many keywords aren't anything new. Charged Devilsaur had rush before the keyword became a thing. Unstable Evolution was an echo card before that keyword was introduced, etc...

Whether the keyword will be interesting depends largely on the cards they will print for it. The warrior one so far looks decent.

Charged Devilsaur is the prototype of how rush should work one year before they actually realized how it works.. it's not exactly rush since if the card is cheated out it can go face.

decent? it looks really powerful when the card is coparable to both Zilliax and Militia Commander in terms of removal and stickiness you know it's a powerful card.

Charged devilsaur having rush wasn't meant to be taken literally, just some insight on previous cards that already contained future keywords. For the most part. Oh well, should've seen this coming.

Yes, the card looks decent seeing how it's a 4 drop for warrior. Militia Commander has deals 1 less damage but has 3 more health. Health is generally far more important of a stat than attack on minions. Additionally, warrior also has Omega Devastator which it will have to compete with. I don't see control warrior running six 4 drops. Eight if we're talking bomb warrior, because there's no way they're going to omit Wrenchcalibur. So yes, compared to warrior's current 4 drops it is a decent card.

one year before they actually realized how it works ?

C'mon, Icehowl was already there since TGT in 2015 and Charge was there since 2016 with nerfed version (last version) so they "already knew" how it works, they didn't realize it with Charged Devilsaur and they knew charge was a problematic keyword they never denied that.

Charged Devilsaur was not the prototype.

  • New Shaman Spell - Corrupt the Waters

    Quote From ThatFinn

For example any jade based control deck gets enormous boost with this card. The ability to pump out 2 jades per card is really something that shouldnt be underestimated. This hero power gives you too much value for ppl to keep up, even priests with their current metric-shit-ton of wild clears cant AoE all my jades away. What happens when almost every of my jade cards require that AoE answer?

Shaman Control decks can already deal with aggro and midrange decks quite well with healing rain + walking fountain + Devolve, Volcano and Scheme. The main problem tends to be big priest if you dont draw hexes and burn decks.

This card solidifies other matchups while also boosting those 2 particular matchups as you can ramp up the jades and thus threat towards them. True the card doesnt work in those decks you described (necessarily), but there are alot of great battlecries that would love to have brann effect on demand.

Since the wild meta is far slower in development I'll use vS' latest meta report despite it being relatively old as reference: https://www.vicioussyndicate.com/wild-vs-data-reaper-report-17/

Shudderwock shaman (the closest thing you'll get to jade shaman) loses against all aggro decks but two: Mech hunter, against which it is slightly favored and aggro paladin, which seems to be a 50/50 matchup. Only other noteworthy thing to mention is that its matchup against even shaman is also, ironically, even.

Other than that, the deck is unfavored against all aggro and midrange decks. So much for it being able to "deal with aggro and midrange decks quite well". As I stated in my previous post. More value isn't going to change its unfavorable matchup against these other aggro and midrange decks, at all.

A single matchup being a problem shouldn't hamper a deck from being high tier, which isn't the case for combo/control shaman. Just look at jade druid and even warlock for example. Both have miserable matchups against big priest, but still perform quite well in today's wild meta.

Lastly, control decks just aren't effective in the wild metagame. Unless they can pull some ridiculous anti-aggro stuff, like odd warrior's hero power and removal, jade druid's armor gain and Spreading Plague and big priest being the tumor that it is. Other than these three decks, not a single deck cares about jade value in the lategame. Because the only decks remaining are the ones that hope to finish you far earlier than said lategame, or OTK you once you manage to actually reach that lategame.

@MurlocAggroB those are 2 cards that add a buff to a minion in play those effects mostly don't see play look at Charge in warrior it gives a minion rush(funny how stupid that card is, right?), rush minions are played, that card isn't.

  • Control Paladin

Just a short question. Why do you dont run the Gargoyle? I found him way better in the current meta than Witchdocktor ( wich can be ok with Shirvallla tbh)

Also just a short sidenote if you would just toss in one or two Dragon Whelpling , Kangors endless army would alredy be a good card in this deck.

  • Medivh's White-Eyes Blue Dragons

Thanks for the feedback but I insist that you should craft Malacrass as early as possible. In this deck, he can retrieve your Dragons back. In general, he is good in Reno Mages.

  • Dragon Combo Priest

Interesting thought. I may try that. I have played against it and it feels like a different deck though. Dead cards until turn 9.

I have started winning more games (played over 100 now and WR is above 50%). Finished at rank 3 last season

Playing more aggressively with extra arms to make it extremely difficult to remove my minions and not being afraid to Inner Fire a minion before having lethal has helped a ton.

This has been especially effective vs popular cyclone mage, big priest and paladin matchups.

  • Control Paladin

Unfourtunately you dont win vs them.

At the moment i tryed to play with Imortal Prelate (cause thats also nice with Crystology), a coupple Mechs  and Undertaker, so generally the Undertaker has the Prelate and 2 Mechanoeggs  as deathrattle. This was an autowin vs Warrior but unfourtunately they all run silence sine the Mech buffs.

Another way would be to wait (if possible) until they play Elysiana and then play Hakkar plus Liam later. But the Undertaker is generally speaking a better minion vs other classes.

  • New Mage Spell - Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron

Everyone underrated Yogg when he was leaked in WotOG too. I sincerely hope Blizzard doesn't butcher this card for the sake of E-Sports again, and instead bans it if people get mad.

  • Medivh's White-Eyes Blue Dragons

Very fun and efficient deck. +1! My only issue is against Pogo Rogue, but nothing is invincible.

I ended up replacing Hex Lord Malacrass for Sindragosa for purely monetary reasons, but the results have been great regardless.

Even Archmage Arugal, who I've never found a use for until now, manages to occasionally do his job.

The only card here I'm not so sure about is Stargazer Luna. Most games I either tempo her out to force my enemy to waste resources, or end up drawing relatively little due to the deck's mana costs in general. Still, very few complaints about her either, and I can't think of a better draw engine to replace her with, so I'm keeping her too.
