1. I've felt like Warlock has been floundering for an identity all year (including DoD) - zoolock variants have been around, but beyond that not really anything to speak of. It's somewhat edifying to see that my experience wasn't unique. I really enjoyed Demonlock (post-Cubelock-ending-nerfs) so would be nice to see that make a reappearance sometime in 2020.
2. If you had no idea when expansions were launched, the mad scrambles would be a dead giveaway. It's pretty funny to see in this format: going along, going along, not much change, going alASOIA!@#!$FGDASGB!#&^SDG!)*$, not much change, going along....
Knife "drinks" blood, magic is an art, and he gives you a card. Though I'm surprised it wasn't Cult Master since that also seems to fit the riddle very nicely, so if I'm right since that would be 2-wins-in-a-row for me PopeNeia you can have my turn.
I don't care too much of a delayed or canceled Brawl. I do understand most devs are on holiday.
But hell, not even a notification saying "sorry for the issue"?!? Is this how much they care for the players?!?
C'mon...
Totally agree with this - the lack of communication is what's most frustrating. I went to the Blizz forums themselves to see if I could find a thread with some info and nothing there :/
I had a thought about this when Valdris Felgorge was revealed: while obviously valuable in all variants of Handlock, that card could also be a "pre-counter" to a return of mill decks. It reminded me when, after they revealed all the Highlander cards in SoU, one of the devs said that's why they introduced so many bomb/other "shuffle [X] into opponents deck" mechanics in RoS - effectively they set up the counter before introducing the main mechanic so there wouldn't be a runaway Highlander shitfest. Perhaps you're not alone in thinking about a resurgence?
Personally I would hate the hell out of that as Mill decks DO feel super crappy to play against, even moreso than OTK combo decks. But then again I hate Res Priest as an archetype with equal fervor and Blizz won't seem to let that die so all my angry letters don't seem to have much effect on their planing :)
He has a knife in the card art (incoming hot take: this is one of my most-hated card arts in the entire game. Just looks awful.) and gets stronger when people get stabbed (or otherwise damaged). Can't think of what might rhyme with "art" about him though.
My 2 observations:

Bloodmage Thalnos?

Is the brawl working for anyone yet? I've had it say "opens in 23 hours" since yesterday
Is the brawl broken? It is and has been offline for me and has said "opens in 23 hours" for the last 24 straight hours...
Frothing Berserker?

Phantom Freebooter?
The card is only good if you've "fed" a weapon and get good bonus stats.
You got it all including the reasoning for each line! Well done.
Nope. The “trick” isn’t a reference to a secret. Think “new trick” together as one phrase.
Nope - though I get why you guessed that so I slightly revised the line about snakes (plural) since that was a little misleading
Show me a new trick
And when the fighting gets hairy
that snake will then see
This night isn’t all that’s scary
Dancing Swords?
JFK has it. Nicely done!
Nope. Beasts aren’t the only kind of minions with fangs and claws..
Not her either - I said above it’s not legendary, which I’ll now narrow more and say it’s a Rare
Nope, the minion is not dead already
First off: Happy New Year to all!
Secondly with no guesses in 12 hours I guess it’s hint time?
First line refers to the lore around the particular breed of minion.
Second line refers to the effect/ability of the card
Third line refers to how to trigger the effect (DestroyerR has the right idea with Pally Quest but not quite right)
Fourth line was a hint about the kind (or tribe...) of the minion
Not shudderwock either. I’ll go ahead and say it’s not a legendary.
Nope
