Not gonna lie: it took a huge amount of time and effort, but we're glad we pulled this off - unless I am missing something, we should be the first publishing achievement guides for this expansion.
Hi there, thanks for putting together such a guide - it really shows that you put a lot of time (and effort) into it!
It has to be said that I would've appreciated if you posted this in the Achievement Hunting thread I originally created a week ago, but it's not the end of the world...
In case anyone's interested, we just published Sunken City achievement guides for each class (+ Neutrals), and you can find them below.
Please point out any mistake or any information we should add!
Blizzard tweeted out a poster the other day teasing the Crab Rave but we've had to edit it because they posted a domain containing adult content. We do not recommend seeing where it goes as the site is beyond sketchy and may be illegal in your country. I discovered this unfortunate mistake because I was looking to see if they had any hidden references within the content. Jokes on me!
We made an attempt to notify Blizzard about this issue shortly after they posted the image but they have not returned comment nor have they deleted the tweet.
I intend to do one as per usual, but I wanna wait until the expansion drops and I can make sure that all of them work as intended instead of writing up some crazy strategy that doesn't end up working due to a bug.
Has anyone started to think about how to solve the Sunken City Constructed achievements? We're pretty close to Day 1, and I am sure I am not the only one who'll hunt a couple of easy achievements for an extra boost through the first few levels of the new Reward Track.
I always loved what some of you guys did during the past expansions: teaming up in order to share tips and strategies for everyone - great stuff!
As always, we'll try to push out achievement guides as soon as possible, but in the meantime I'd love to see what other people have in store. Feel free to use this thread in order to share anything achievement related!
Remember: Any achievements you complete now will not reward XP until you claim them. Do not claim the achievements until the new rewards track goes live on April 12. If you claim them now, that XP goes towards your Alterac Valley track instead. When in doubt, stay out of your journal until the expansion launches.
Even if you manage to complete any of the displayed achievements, we suggest you to not claim the rewards, and keep them for when the new Reward Track will go live.
Thanks for the Flamereaper thing: it sounds obvious now that you point it out, but I really believed it could work.
As for the Hunter achievement, I really the achievement is just hard-coded and not broken: Alterac Valley was full of buggy achievements, and I really don't want Sunken City to be the same...
I feel the same way: there's a big chance that the Core Set will change things up (Zilliax and the whole Magnetic package?), but we haven't had a Mech deck in a long while, so I am down for anything Team 5 has come up with!
You sure? I remember I purposely picked cheap Pirates to test that interaction and I received the achievement.
Weren't you playing in Casual mode?
Oof, rough to hear you had to go through such annoying matchups, but I am glad you pulled it off in the end
I do not own Nellie, the Great Thresher, so I put all my hope on that interaction working - luckily for me, it did!
There are to ways of looking at the achievement:
I still think running two radars is worth the risk, but I would understand someone opting for the other approach.

OMEGALUL
I take this as a personal attack for the Flamereaper/Professor Slate fiasco lol
Greetings everyone.

Cogmaster was removed probably because the new Mech synergy introduced with Sunken City only works with... well... Mechs, and not tribeless minions.
If you take a look at cards like Radar Detector and Trench Surveyor, you'll notice that Cogmaster would actually be detrimental to your gameplan.
Yup, you’re right: nice catch
It’s [Hearthstone Card (Assassinate 1) Not Found] - we mentioned it in the Holy Comp section becauseValeera Sanguinar can find it.
The article clearly states what follows.
Even if you manage to complete any of the displayed achievements, we suggest you to not claim the rewards, and keep them for when the new Reward Track will go live.

Glad you found these guides useful! :)
Nope, literally nobody. I spent hours and hours writing these guides just because I enjoy wasting time. Come on...

Dredge should be random, yes.
Could you explain yourself a bit more please?
