Picked up Mercs again after a long long time just to get this "free" Merc. My collection is rather limited and I have to complete all Blackrock and Alterac, but let's see if the mode can redeem itself to my eyes.
Update: did Drakkisath, Rend and Razorgore and man, so difficult lol
I don't want to divert people somewhere else (I actually love these threads), but I think it's worth pointing out that the site recently published a guide about how to complete each of the mini-set's achievements.
I usually look at these threads when writing the guides, so I invite you to keep discussing better and better ways to complete the achievements, so that I can update my writings with even more accurate and useful information!
Kazakus, Golem Shaper's achievement was a hairy one to complete, I have to be honest, especially because you don't know which effects you're yet to pick.
My suggestion is to combine it with Brann Bronzebeard in Wild for more Golem generation and Raise Dead for even more Kazakus triggers - this way you should get really close to completing it.
In case you're not very familiar with Wild, Rogue with Shadowstep seems the most efficient way to get the job done.
I double checked, and the deck code actually contains Ray of Frost, although you cannot include it in your starting deck because it's from Rise of Shadows.
I feel like Paladin finally has an identity, a I prefer it to be this way rather than being pushed in different (and unsynergistic) directions each expansion.
Librams, however, have always been very dominant: introducing them at the begin of a Year was probably a mistake, but still.
Thanks for the tip: I'll add it to the guide!

Maybe Tamsin Roame?

I am so glad we are now covering Duels stuff and people are willing to create custom heroes!
That is also a fair point: I thought about the "best case scenario", but yet - your opponent has to draw them before they kill you.
Glad you found this guide useful ;)
Glad you appreciate our guides.

It's been replaced by Brain Freeze.
Parrot does repeat an Arcane Overflow reduced to 0 by Celestial Ink Set, so yes - it should copy it.
Caw!
My bad: I always read the card as it would "absorb" any floated mana crystal, but that's not the case
So good they gave it to Priest too!
Good luck to all my grinders brethren out there! May the mini-set bring you wins and positive vibes!
I really hope Curse of Agony won't end up as a Garrote 2.0
I totally agree with you.

I also missed Shaman (no Murlocs this time), but yeah, I'm pretty proud of this article and how things turned out.
Thanks!
See, counting is really hard.
While, being 4 mana, Gear Grubber won't work with Vanndar Stormpike, it becomes a lot more playable, since it requires you to float one less mana!
