I've tried running this Highlander Paladin list, but I really struggle to get wins: since it's not the first time I see the archetype, I guess it's because I play poorly.
Is someone so kind to show me how to play it properly?
I'll help you with it: if you are against Murloc, keep your removals and spread; if you are against Quest, don't play more than 3 minions at time (MCT will punish you really hard since it will always steal good stuff) and clear Lifedrinkers, EVIL Totems and Lackeys (you don't want to enable Weaponized Wasp).
I should have a lot of replays on HS Replay, so if you want I can link you some on them (I run Underbelly Fence instead of Hench-Clan Thug though)
I think it's a bit of a drag that Warrior has been the only viable control class for ages now. It really makes the meta a lot more onesided when one of the three major archetypes of decks is represented by a single class.
for ages is a bit of an overstatement. Warrior only came back as a control class during Rumble when Odd Warrior finally became good enough (thanks to the Dragon package)
Not totally correct: Odd Warrior was already popular around the Spiteful Nerf. Yeah, it wasn't pure Odd package since it used to run the Quest, but it was still tier 1.
God it's been a while since I started loathing the class.
Please Devs, PLEASE, don't give Warrior OP stuff in the next expansion and keep its power level in check after the rotation. That's all I have to ask: playing against Garrosh/Magni without the need to puke.
I'm not 100% sure about it since I'm waiting to play the free wings in order to draw some conclusions, but I think I won't buy it.
I have quite a few reasons to do so:
Except minor changes, it's the same Dungeon Run stile adventure: yeah, the Bartender stuff is cool, different treasures and characters, but it doesn't differ that much (e.g. Boom Puzzles), but the free wing may change my mind
It has less rewards than Dalaran Heist (ok, Zayle is trash and you can't even disenchant it, but at least it was something: maybe they should bump the rewards to 4 packs in order to compensate, I don't know)
Saviours of Uldum has a lot of strong cards and, unfortunately, I've found very few good stuff in my previous 80 packs (yeah, very bad luck)
If I just want to have fun, I have a second profile with 9k gold created just for that purpose (and arena)
To be honest, as things are now I'd rather buy the last two wings of One Night in Karazhan than buying Tombs of Terror.
Edit: you actually changed a few cards since the first time I saw the list. Now I think there are way too many 3 drops: you won't attack very ofter in the first few turns, cause you want to set up "other class cards" effects and a good turn 6 Necrium Blade trigger on either Mechanical Whelp or double SN1P-SN4P.
Hench-Clan Thug is a pretty good tempo card, but not that tempo you want to play, otherwise you would just use a pure Aggro list.
Your deck is really cool, i love it, i'm climbing slowly (5 to 3) but it's a pleasure to play a deck with octosari ! thx mate :)
i'm also playing Sahket Sapper instead of Blightnozzle Crawler, just because it's a new card and because a priest rage quited against me cause it sapped the good minion
After having played a considerable number of matches (roughly 170) with this deck, I have to say Blightnozzle Crawler is overall better than [Hearthstone Card (Sahket Sapper) Not Found]: it's a mech (SN1P-SN4P and Zilliax synergy), kills instead of Sapping a minion (yeah, taunt may be a problem, but you have so many removals to bypass them), makes it awkward for your opponents to remove it (they need to trades or two clears), there's no RNG ready to screw you and last, but not least, your opponent can't use this Deathrattle to his own advantage.

Trade Only?: Aye aye cap'n!
I never thought this card would have seen such a high amount of play

How's Hearthpwn doing?

Damn the 8 mana Standard pool is waaay better than I thought. I remember one times losing to double Mogu into Walking Fountain.
I don't have a particular opinion to express, but I just wanted to highlight all the possible outcomes for people that want to comment :)
Just two months later, the situation is totally different lol

Just hit Legend with this!

SMOrc
I love you guys
Edit: replied under the wrong post lol
Nice.
How could I forget Stonehill Defender? Incredible card in Odd Pala back in the Standard days.
Of course not, they bring it to tournaments only for the memes
So, homebrew deck, rank 2 five stars with an insane winrate. What could go wrong? Well, back to rank 4 I guess.
Fuck Quest Druid: to be fair it's nothing compared to Control Warrior, but it feels shit nonetheless
