  • This card is dope, idk if it'll be good but it's really cool.

  • If there is any hero card in this expansion it should be professor slate. i don't know what class it would be for, but that is a scholomance classic turning into him.

Was such a pain back in vanilla days, ugh...

Impossible to beat with randoms haha.

that analogy only works if you play Skyrim like a scrub. Real men abuse the Ritual Stone like degenerates (which, ironically, is a far better analogy to what Priest actually does)

And also only masochists play skyrim with spells, at least unmodded, because the useful spells don't work against high level enemies and the damage spells deal no damage from the start, and continue to do the same amount of zero damage no matter what your level is, but it's fine because they cost less mana right? lmao.

Also I'm pretty sure that makes the deck unplayable since you can't possibly get enough minions in the pool to consistently rez...effectively meaning you'd have to buff every single rez spell to make up for it.

How would it make it unplayable? It would just mean you have to deal with the same minion at most twice....cheating out minions with shadow essence and barnes are still the same, resurrect and eternal servitude would still be the same if not more consistent. Not to mention it wouldn't even matter because priest still has a billion ways to summon copies of things they have on their board already to combat this graveyard downside: grave rune, unsleeping soul(fringe), psyche split, vivid nightmare, n'zoth(who would not work this way obviously), seance, shadowy figure, kaahrj, mirage caller etc... Yes this would stop priest from reviving the same ragnaros and infiltrator, over and over and over and over, but it will not stop the deck at all, so priest has to play more bombs to rez so what? It's a wild deck....the amount of bombs that rez priest can pull from shadow essence is almost too many to list. It just means whenever the play shadow essence on turn 5 or six they won't know exactly what the card is where now as it is, if you're getting SMORCed down as a rez priest you can usually shadow essence into an obsidian stature pretty reliably every single time.

I think the real question about big priest is why do people still play it?  It's clearly bad specially in this meta but for some reason some ppl just like to giggle like little idiots when they play a 2 mana card rez an 8+drop.

People like playing decks that are on autopilot, shudderwock shaman, rez priest, aviana kun combo druid, Zul'jin hunter. Makes them have to make as little decision making as possible

  • Was thinking of a good way to nerf rez priest that would still make the deck playable and it came to me. Make the rez mechanic the same as in Skyrim.

If you don't know in skyrim you have spells to resurrect things, just like in hearthstone, those things come to life and do your bidding even though they're dead. But after they die a second time, after being reanimated they turn to ash, and you can't resurrect them again. This is the change to rez priest that i think would be the best for both sides. Priest can still be bullshit resurrecting the lich king or ragnaros, but not several times throughout the game, they would have to play more minions which would dilute their pool so they wouldn't automatically get the lich king or ragnaros, or statue every time. This would make the deck less consistent, and make it easier to win against.

    What do you think?

  • The new expansion is garrisons in hearthstone, where you log in just for garrison rewards and then log out, classic outland.

  • Played two games today with this:

First game missplay, where i could have won, but i played a claw instead of floop gloop on accident.....so i lost an easily winnable game because of that.

    Second game no missplay

I am fine with this nerf. Dragonqueen Alexstrasza is probably my least favorite Highlander card (not counting Inkmaster Solia). Though I do think this may be a bit too much. On turn 9 she is unplayable, and on turn 10 you get half the value for one extra mana. I will dust my copy and maybe craft Kanrethad Ebonlocke.

I am assuming you play wild, why would you play ebonlocke in wild, when you can just play the card that discards your highest card and gives you 2 when it dies, for second guldan?

  • Dairyqueen alex was in every deck in the meta right now, so it's so surprise they nerfed it. I don't think they went far enough tbh.

  • Yo this deck good?

  • Gonk, the Raptor - Hearthstone Wiki

I have been playing hearthstone since release off and on, never really getting that into it until Rastakhan's rumble, which i loved everything about, the trailer song i still listen to all the time(just instumental when i'm working and with vocals when i'm exercising). And I LOVE gonk.

Gonk to me was a card that a lot of people didn't really want to do anything with just because it was there but i thought it was a fun card that just needed some more tools to work properly. Not a card like Moorabi, but something with actual potential to be good. I crafted this in rastakhan and played it in some armor druid deck homebrew i made, it wasn't very exciting, but then i got serious about it when DoD came around.Secure the Deck was THE card for gonk druid, with it you could stockpile massive amount of damage through claws without cluttering your hand. And it was probably the most fun way to kill an opponent i've even done, and the most fun i have ever had in this game PERIOD. The best part was my opponent knowing i was a gonk druid after playing gonk, and not playing more than a few minions at a time so i couldn't just gonk them right out, or them having a taunt in the way that they thought i couldn't push through, and just destroying them right through it. Speaking of, if you're playing against gonk, never NEVER play khartut defender, some guy i fought played two against me on the same board when he knew i was a gonk druid. Healing for eight when i get 4 free swings into a small minion isn't good for you dude haha. I still rewatch the old replays sometimes i'm not ashamed to admit haha. After gonk rotated i stopped playing again, if you've seen me on the front page you'll know how i feel about activision_blizzard and paywall cards returning. Now i just want to play gonk in wild. And that's all i'm going to be using this game for anymore. If you have a good Decklist please PM me :)

  • Reinstalled this shitty game.

    *Queues for casual mode*

Demon hunter, demon hunter, rogue, demon hunter, rogue, shaman, demon hunter, druid, demon hunter, demon hunter, rogue.

    All netdecked aggro.

Oh yes i remember now why i stopped playing this shitty game.

  • You did it chump

The 1 mana 2/2 that grows is more oppressive than all of these in my opinion(granted it was really close with eye beam) and that wasnt touched at all. It's basically a "gain 1 attack at the beginning of your turn" effect since you can attack so easily with the hero. Played against only demon hunter and rogue yesterday and the demon hunters always had both of these on board before turn 3. I have no idea why this wasnt touched.

We've been dealing with flame imp for the last 6 years. I personally dont think Battlefiend is any trouble at all. If you miss out on your Umberwing, you'd have to spend 1 mana on turn 2 to buff the guy.

Thanks to 0 mana Eye Beam however, you'd not be permitted to develop any minions until turn 4. That's why Battlefiend is a problem. But eye beam got nerfed so we'll see what develops from that.

Comparing it to flame imp... a high statted one drop with a downside like flame imp vs a high statted one drop with an upside that costs 1 mana to enable and quickly out scales flame imp. But yeah "theyll have to hero power every turn" poor baby has to spend 1 mana every turn when their deck has nothing over 6 cost in it....what a trial...

  • If you hate mage for their endless spam of random bullshit, but you think rogue is allowed to do it with lackeys you're a hypocrite if you thought priest was bullshit because of inner fire cheesing out games and are proud to see it be hall of famed and you are fine with edwin being in standard doing the exact same thing you are a hypocrite. God i hate this game. Apparently you need to point these out because the people playing rogue don't know. XD

No real need for the language here tbh.

Artifact had a lot of problems and Valve agreed. The game did become unplayable for $20 since no one was playing the game. Investing time into games that don't have any players makes for poor value.

I'm looking forward to their future announcements on the game to see if it is worth a shot at again. Unique gameplay was good, accessibility to the game itself not so much. If you want to succeed in the space, you've already got the titans you have to match or exceed.

People not playing a game doesnt make it unplayable.... people didnt play battleborn on release not because it was a bad game, not. because it was broken in release but because people circle jerked about it being an overwatch clone, the same thing happened to artifact. Twitch streamers said it was bad because their hearthstone audience didnt want to see it so their viewers dropped and when they asked why they stopped playing it they said it was bad instead of saying they wouldn't make as much money playing it as hearthstone or other games...
