Can you guys make an article about what it's like to play D4 as free to play? Curious to see when you start hitting walls, what they are about, how far behind you end up and what this really means etc.
I've recently started a game of Distant Worlds 2 (with my usual huge galaxies and far apart from other empires). Been wanting to learn this game a bit after playing DW:Universe for some time in the past.
Age of wonders 4 seems a bit lackluster from what i'm reading. Only played it a bit. Everything that involves a hard "META" really puts me off, so i won't be playing this for a while.
When i'm bored of DW, i usually spend some hours in Rimworld before coming back. 350 mods really change the game for good.
Marvel snap i haven't played in a while, since i gave them an email about the UI annoyances that really make me throw the phone out the window. Like i told them, i'm not coming back until they do something about it. It's been a few months and nothing. Oh well...
Also sad about not having enough time or mood to play Spacebourne 2. The game receives lots of updates but nothing that is close to the systems i want to see improved (maybe except a few bugs here and there). It seems to me it keeps getting too complicated without things getting fleshed out properly in a timely manner. Nevertheless, the game is truly awesome and i plan on coming back to it soon. Hopefully.
I really don't agree with them on everything. Sure, it fits for mobile card games, but not something else.
Also, it doesn't mean card games should be limited to 3 minute gameplay cycles. Look what HS turned into over the years. Maybe some of us like long games of around 10 minutes, IF they provide enough strategic choices. When you bring the game down to 3 minutes, unless the game is designed properly, you end up with an RNG fest or other similar stuff that forces the game to end. Fortunately, Snap was properly designed for this and doesn't feel like crap, but fun.
"Consider where players are going to play your game. They might not be giving it their full attention" - this one is quite fun! Imagine designing a game that people DON'T HAVE TO PAY ATTENTION TO when playing it. Seriously?! What kind of game is that?! Why do you still play it??? Why did you design it that way?? Why are you calling it a "game"?! Oh wait... forgot HS exists, my bad. Also, forgot Ben designed a lot of HS too.
Like yea, imagine designing your game to be played while pooping, so you can't give it enough attention...
Anyway, i'd take most of his advice with a grain of salt. Not all mobile games involve cards or are TCG/etc. Also, not all mobile card games should be designed for ADHD teenagers that can't control themselves for more than 3 minutes.
Another almost related issue: long signatures can't be fully seen/read. There is no way to scroll that section and the visible space for it is very little (cannot even fathom scrolling it on mobile, even if there was a scrollbar, for example). I'm on mobile/android.
@Wailor: thanks for the feedback. I've edited the card the best i could (the text wouldn't fit on 4 lines so i had to change it a bit; also, i'd like to keep it as a warrior card since DK is not something i enjoy in general).
I'll be trying something different. This is like a comeback solution (archetype enabler?) for the old control warrior (whose lack of existence for several years made me quit HS a long time ago).
I didn't want this to have anything to do with the Death Knight class. Classic style all the way :) The undead tag is mostly flavor, since I don't think warrior has any synergy with it (though I do believe it should, even if limited).
Yea, i've played a lot of it, but only casually. Recently i don't have enough time to split between multiple games. They also get boring after a while lol
You could sue them or file for some kind of customer protection breach. Depends on where you live and what server you played on. In europe you could try the volunteers at ECC at first.
They should do a battle event between good and evil, with very light deck restrictions (e.g. only one evil or good 6 cost card allowed). Who chose good battle the ones who chose evil. Etc.
What does it blossom into?
Meanwhile, Jagged Alliance 3 coming out on the 14th 😊😊
Where's algalon's vision and what does it do? Please link related stuff to the parent cards.

Thanks! Will be buying Kingsblood :D
The challenge is to start taking care of yourself and your mental health in particular. 😞

Lmao.
At least you don't talk to your opponents that might not even be on this forum.
Take a break man. Play something else. Lots of good stuff out there. If you're interested in other game types, i could provide a few titles.

Since when is hulk 6/11 and not 6/12 ? :O

Edit: changed after feedback.
Yea. Can't get it to show up properly on any browser.
Anyone else still seeing the "out of cards" logo on the top left of the page? Yet the title in the link is "out of games".
Bug or something wrong with my browser?
Ps: forgot to mention Old World as a cool game :D even Terraria.

"as its effect doesn't come into play after the game is over"
But it DOES come into play after the game is over :)
Would be very interesting to have Galactus on 5 in this location. It likely loses you the game, but still, it's fun :)
