  • Its a flexible removal card like Twin Slice that can't reach face, which wouldn't really matter sometimes.

Basically dilutes the pool of 1 mana cards. Otherwise, its just not going anywhere. I like the idea, but in most cases, Twin Slice is more than enough to include in a deck.

  • This card has so much potential to be insanely broken. Essentially any buff that reaches it makes it a monster of a weapon. Its a good thing though that it costs 3, which means its easily corrupted, and therefore the buffs are harder to reach, but that's not to say its impossible.

Right out of the bat Costumed Entertainer does that. And if it manages to fall on this, then we're looking at a 6/5 weapon. Basically ends the game if your opponent has no ooze.

Even as a 4/3 vanilla 3 mana minion, that's not really that bad. As a 4/3 weapon, its already pulling more work than Marrowslicer, but the lack of synergy with cards like Soulshard Lapidary means its likely a strictly tempo dhunter card.

  • I think its confirmed that the only advantage you gain over the others is a 10% increase to xp gain. Over time, obviously that can accumulate to quite a lot. But without seeing the full track, we can't tell by how much.

Either way, 20 bucks is taking up kegs of urine over a 20 yard dash for me.

  • Neither does Kibler incidentally. That's really just how he laughs, and he laughs at quite a lot of stuff. As for sucking up to bliz, well, honestly I don't expect anyone they invite to not do that. At least its nowhere near the levels of where Frodan usually gets.

Kripp tends to be more serious; a case of where his beard seems more menacing than the man as a whole. He's always aloof and analytical, but maybe that's what hearthstone fans want instead of a fanboy.

  • Its actually a good warrior card. But only as a choice discover. Otherwise I really can't see anyone putting this card unironically into their deck.

  • 20 bucks for the new tavern pass? Yeah, I'll pass thank you very much. Considering that we're staring at mid expansions from now on, is 20 bucks really a justifiable price for something that gives you no other competitive advantage but 10% extra xp? I'll let the many resident mathematicians in Hearthstone to do the math, but for now, absolutely not.

Looking forward to the new system. I guess we still have 1 extra day to do the quests before the revamp

  • So what have we here at the end?

    - Shaman getting shafted for the third expansion in a row. Stormstrike is the only card I'm truly impressed with, along with Dunk Tank. Everything else just too gimmicky. Puts a tear in my eye for poor Thrall.

    - Mage getting lots of elemental synergies in standard at last, for that one very broken card Elemental Allies. There's enough secret synergy for aggro secret mage to make a comeback

    - Secret face hunter in the works and may be legit. And finally, a good 2 mana beast has been revealed. Will this be enough for beast hunter though?

    - Warrior getting a bevy of rush minions. Rush warrior may actually just be a thing. ETC God looking way too good now

    - So much demon synergy for warlock. Ring Matron is just a slight powercreep over Savannah Highmane.

    - Priest cards getting weirder and weirder. Seems like a small push for rez priest, but many of the cards are too expensive to be honest.

    - Banana Vendor and Prize Vendor are slightly weaker versions of something that almost always sees play back in standard. Wriggling Horror can actually just be a decent card in many decks. Carnival Clown turns out to be that 'awesome' 9 mana corrupt card, but I think it'll never see play.

  • If they were smart it'll cost 10 bucks. 20 is asking too much especially since we're getting that mini expansion in as a permanent feature.

  • well, you'd still stand a chance to get a massive must-remove-or-die 10/10 sethekk wouldn't you?

  • Fine in theory. 8 mana 10/10 is hardly something that can be ignored.

But you'd play this in either a rez priest deck, or some kind of deathrattle deck. Both or which kinda don't really have much support this expansion.

I guess you can discover it, or get it off sethekk, which wouldn't be a waste of space at least, but its just too expensive to drop an 8 mana 10/10 that has not guaranteed rush or taunt value, especially for a class like priest.

  • This card with Palm Reading probably make out into a decent combo. But palm reading is already plenty strong on the discount part, and priest spells are usually too situation for a massive dump.

I can't honestly see this being put into a deck. Most likely its a choice galakrond generated card, or you'd play this on 3 and somehow it manages to survive, which isn't really that hard since 5 health is not easy to chip off, then you can go ham with Sethekk Veilweaver on 4 with a bunch of cheap spells.

  • Just grab a friend and play a few matches to finish up quick if you get my meaning.

  • cheesy nothing. That face looks like she about to take a dump mid jump kick.

Im sure that art piece genuinely took time and love to make, but couldn't the expression be something more than someone watching intently at a chess grudge match?

  • This one is just another reason to start building up that aggro paladin deck. It may actually be enough to break through those unfavorable priest battles now, and this card will be core to that.

Just a very solidly strong card that will almost certainly be a build-around.

  • 9 mana 10/10 rush taunt. Yes, its a very big boy indeed.

But then again, so is Msshi'fn Prime, and that card will at least give you a 3/4 taunt early on then proceed with 2 9/9s for 9.

Will this one see play? Maybe in big druid. But unless Nzoth druid is so fearsome that this one becomes an auto include by virtue of it being an elemental, I can't say this one is anything more than an average, by the book, big boy that only rarely make your opponent sweat.

  • All three are very much what shaman is becoming; can't draw for shit, can't generate for shit, and stuck with gimmicks all round. So well rounded are their core cards it makes paladin look broken.

So what have we here then? Two dubiously useless cards, and one very nice and powerful legendary that will never live up to its potential.

Cagematch Custodian looks very strong, but the only weapon you'd ever want tutored is either Doomhammer or The Fist of Ra-den, of which both aren't going to set the tent on fire anytime soon. So no tempo here.

Whack-A-Gnoll Hammer would've been THE card if it were 2 mana. But sadly it ain't. So it doesn't curve into Deathmatch Pavilion, and shaman have to actually stick a board to enjoy its benefits. Its not really that bad, but its a fair card. And fair cards don't usually make the cut. Neither will this, in my opinion.

Inara Stormcrash will never be a finisher. There's just no good weapons for shaman to ever make the windfury do more than 10 damage without also something like Rockbiter Weapon. In many cases, if its a finisher you want, doomhammer does the job better. So the best thing would be this gets down on 5, you kill 2 minions with your face, and then pray to the gods that she survives until the next turn. Kinda makes Dragonbane look godlike, doesn't it?

Its disappointing to be honest. Had there at least been a 4 mana 4/3 weapon for shaman, even without any added effects, inara would've made it to the top. But it was not to be at the end. Well, here's hoping for the mid expansion upgrades then.

  • Visions of me wasting my ranks to make galakrond malygos rogue work comes back to mind. I may actually do it again, just because of this card.

Its a nice little inclusion, but will only seriously save you from classes that are not hunter. Outside of combo, I can't see this card ever working. At least with something like Time Out! you'd get to attack out without taking damage, or draw out all your bombs. And since rogue also plays the tempo game, what's stopping them from just taking down your board, of which without you'd not stand much chance anyway.

  • Claw Machine is a tad slow honestly. At 6, you'd probably want to start swinging boards every turn if possible. This one will mostly just trade with another minion, and since that +3+3 effect is not a tutored one, you'd probably just end up with a big minion that will not end the game or save you from dying.

Palm Reading on the other hand is a worthy card to be included into priest right now. Its flexibility is already powerful, the fact that it also discounts your spells is a very nice bonus and makes it more difficult to corner priest by reading its numerous answers

  • He's a half glass full ogre that won't give any lip to negative thinking

  • Strongman is probably the best card here. Just board wipe then swing with this is just insane.

Tickatus is really strong. But it requires a 7 or more mana play first, and the only likely card I can think off that does that is Twisting Nether. Plus, its nearly impossible to play in the same deck along with Deck of Chaos, arguably the stronger of the two cards.
