It seems like it won't see play. Compared to Moonglade Portal, I would rather pay 6 mana for a random 6-drop than 8 mana for a random 8-drop. The 8 Armor doesn't seem like it makes up for the unpredictability. I feel like if you want an 8-drop, you'd just put that 8-drop in your deck instead of this.
It's only really good with Kael'thas, but Druid has better things to do with Kael'thas than summoning a random 8-Cost minion.
New Weapon Shaman. Hopefully they actually commit to supporting the archetype unlike Freeze Shaman.
Compared to Satyr Overseer, this looks like it would be quite good in this hypothetical Weapon Shaman and you'd definitely play it. What Shaman really needs now is a 1-Cost weapon and this thing would be really good.
This will definitely trip some people up. It usually won't summon anything better than a 3-drop, but that's honestly not bad. Works with Stealth Rogue and gives you a minion for things like Greyheart Sage. Secret and Stealth Rogue alike will probably enjoy this a little bit, although it's not that good against Aggro.
Interesting dilemma in Wild: If your opponent has a small minion and a large minion, they'll either have to play around this, Sudden Betrayal, or Evasion, and you can't play around all 3 at the same time.
Definitions of "powercreep" or "strictly better" differ from person to person. Some people consider "powercreep" to just be any card that's a better version of another card, whereas some other people consider it to only apply to cards that were already good enough to see play. While I was writing the bingo squares, I opted to go with the most basic definition of powercreep which is simply that the card is just a better version of another card in the same class.
Spell mage, aka no minion, will be playing this, it's very random, but I like it anyway
It's actually not all that random, especially at the high end.
I think Regis Killbin was annoyed about this card (given his tone and the title of his video), but he also noted that he hadn't really studied the Mage spell list to see how things might pan out.
Turns out, you will always get Blizzard from your 3-costs and always get Flamestrike from your 4-costs (unless they release more 6- and 7-cost spells this expansion). Your 5-costs will become one of two possible spells (and it really doesn't matter too much which one you get), there are no 9-cost spells, so Blizzard won't change, and there are only two 10-costs -- Pyroblast and Puzzle Box. So really the only nail-biter is the last one.
If you're running Flamestrike in a deck with Deck of Lunacy, you're probably the kind of person who was already jamming Puzzle Box into every Mage deck anyway, which is why I think the overall effect of this card on the meta will not be all that random.
It doesn't specify "Mage spells" though like other Mage cards that only generate Mage spells.
So I'm pretty sure you can get spells from other classes from this.
It seems like it requires too much setup for it to be extremely good, although Mage has quite a few good Secrets and also ways to generate them, so it'll definitely see some experimentation at the very least.
This feels like a card with a pretty good effect, but with reasonable, reachable ways for your opponent to play around it.
Which typically means that they won't see play. XD - It can be good for decks that like to have a lot of small minions (which Druid does well), and it works with Hadronox and original N'Zoth. It seems like a strong, but balanced and fair card. Which again, typically means that it won't see play, lol. But it seems like it has a decent chance. If half-stars were a thing, I'd probably rate it 3.5.
This card seems quite strong. It's worse than Shadowstep on small minions, but it's a lot better on large ones, and it gives you a way to reuse strong Battlecries on expensive cards. Kronx Dragonhoof in particular is really good with this in Galakrond Rogue, but there's quite a bit more that can be done with it. Seems like a pretty good card to me.
First thing's first, the artwork is just awesome. Regardless of how good the card is, we can all agree on that, right?
Compared to Ring Toss, you don't need to Corrupt the card to give you 2 Secrets. You just play it on turn 4 and go! That's quite good because it gives you 2 Secrets and 2/2 stats worth of damage. On the turn after you play, it can give you "free" setup for Petting Zoo to get one at least one other Strider, so that's pretty good. This alone actually makes it a decent contender for Secret Hunter.
One problem this card has is with Eaglehorn Bow. It has anti-synergy with Eaglehorn Bow because your Secrets are likely to be triggered before you can equip Bow or you end up playing it on a turn that you can't use it right away. It also negatively impacts it on curve for if you play Eaglehorn Bow on turn 3, you can play this on turn 4, but you'll end up not doing anything with it. This might not be bad enough to where you cut them all out, but it does make them a little bit awkward to play with eachother. You might end up playing one, but not both of these weapons.
In any case though, this seems like a good contender for Secret Hunter and it'll definitely see some amount of play.
Hero cards are nearly impossible to balance, so this comp will be something else.
Illidarminator Zaladris gives you a permanent ability to attack as much as you can every turn (although you can still only attack heroes once), but this comes with losing the ability to gain Attack on command with your Hero Power. You're now forced to use cards to gain Attack.
This is a very weird card. There are lots of kooky things you can do with this card like 4 mana Malygos (although Warlock doesn't have that many ways of actually utilizing Malygos's discounted cost in that case), 1 mana 8/1 [Hearthstone Card (Hir'eek the Bat) Not Found], Ysera, or Zzeraku the Warped. In general, it does compare unfavorably to Luna's Pocket Galaxy even if it does cost 1 less.
It will definitely be played somewhere, but I feel like it most likely won't be too competitive. At the very least, it makes for god meme combos.
I'm going to be honest, I was not aware of this. My point was mostly that when you think Warlock, you typically don't think "face damage" unless it's your own face. XD
But apparently it's a thing. Deck of Chaos might serve this role better since you've more likely to hit Malygos in this case.
Strictly better Assassinate. Yes, Assassinate hasn't seen play... ever, but still, strictly better Assassinate.
And a good one too. Shuffle Rogues will love this card. C'Thun, the Shattered automatically makes it 1 mana by itself, but even when it costs 2 or 3 mana, it's still really good. Even though it's probably not a great idea, Prince Malchezaar also works quite well with this card. Costs 0! Togwaggle's Scheme too is quite nice with this. Ticket Master is of course obviously good with this, as is any other new Shuffle Rogue support we get.
This is a bit of a strange card. I like the effect, although due to its medium-Cost of 5, it'll be hard to use it effectively. At least the card in the left always stays Outcasted, but the card on the right you've gotta play this turn or it will lose its Outcast. That is assuming that you even hit Outcast cards.
Obviously, the ability to copy ANY card is obviously quite good, but it's hard to use with this card. Maybe it'll see play? Wouldn't surprise me if it didn't though.

At the very least, Weapon Shaman can't possibly be any worse than Freeze Shaman.

That face on that thumbnail is actually nightmare fuel.
Rush didn't exist in Knights of the Frozen Throne either

So is this the gun that shoots all those rings at the turtle in Ring Toss?

A freaking Demon in Paladin. It makes sense, but that's quite an interesting step for us FC types.
But this effect is extremely strong, and it will definitely see play. And it's EXTREMELY strong in Odd Paladin.

Lothraxion AND Yrel.
They've really screwed Linkblade91 out of the business of making Paladin cards.
