Sure, but how much better is it than a one turn battle trick? Most effects in runeterra are a one turn thing mostly because they tend to be more interesting that way and can be made to be more powerful..
For example a +4/+4 for one turn costs 4 ([runecard]fury of the north[/runecard]) while a permanent +2/+1 costs 2/3 …
you need to sink so much mana into it and when you do play it you only have one blocker with that effect, it got a few counter cards..
on control you need those counter cards.. on midrange/aggro you need to be able to end the game when your opponent over commits on ONE blocker..

Dunno, I feel like they could go deeper (heh..) about the inspiration and direction of the art.. All they really do is to show uncolored versions of the released product and tell a joke.
That being said I liked the bioshock reference for nautilus.
It was an interesting read.. But they didn't actually go over what the end design meant for most champions.. Why does karma 1 create random spells for example, why is ezreal about targeting enemies(I mean I know.. Cause of skills hots.. But still would like them to mention it)

Seems like a bad idea, specially since you can't really manipulate your hp.

Yeah I agree with changing the combo buff, taking one hp from edwin's body won't do much.. I mean.. You just said you made a 24/24 what difference would a 23 hp Edwin make?
If it was 2/1 per combo it would be 24/13.

if your units are stunned the blocking phase is skipped, swain probably stunned more than 1 unit.
yes it's intended.. since the unit is generated there's no way you get a way to decide on who to replace for it so it would create a feelsbad moment where a good unit will be replaced with.. a spiderling..
