yes it is, I was excited at first but then I just dropped it cause I felt it was just another HS and didn't want to put time into it..
also it had a playable adventure they were selling for 20 bucks with around 30 very strong cards that's when I totally dropped it, you can craft those cards but then :/ they are more F2P friendly than HS but I didn't like that adventure.. didn't feel like playing that just to stay up to date on the meta and honestly it felt really uninteractive in terms of what you could do against your opponent..
Anyway I would suggest to try it.. I played it a year ago so it might be different now.
Anyway I think runettera is better anyway.. having more fun watching/playing it I had with gwent and it replaced HS in my youtube/twitch watch list.
I do not think, that this is a free skin. If you check the accompanying cardback, it says you get it when purchasing the Aranna bundle.
It's not free money-wise, but for some reason the in-game data (or maybe just our system) wants to assign rarity to hero skins, and since they have none they get set as Free, like Basic cards. I don't think it was initially intended to even leave this thread up since it's not really a card.
I see so you need to categorize heroes as a blank so arthas doesn't make it "free" or give it rarities: "premium", "free","reward"
Also Monkey Idol might be an easy plunder, but again you have to either be winning or use resources to get the plunder bonus.
2 mana get 1 card is not that good, 2 mana 2/2 is terrible, so without putting other resources or being able to put in chip damage on the attack those cards are really terrible.
I don't think those cards are broken, but I think they could get some changes to feel better when played against, I stated 3 changes (the bottom of the deck is a must) that could make the mechanic change to feel less bad when played against.
They recently added a clarification it doesn't steal champions, this is not a mechanic change but it does make it better to know your champions won't be stolen.
Also sometimes it helps you to reach your win condition sooner (as in deep decks or combo decks like Ezreal/Karma).
let me give you the most uncommitted answer: craft one copy of each to see how it feels :D that way you are not choosing and you are building 2 decks instead of 1 sure they are less consistent but you get to try both for next week/when you get more shards/wild cards
Also I tend to use shards as well for crafting champions so you can also use that instead of wild cards.. so have 1 and 1 and then go for the route you enjoyed more..
personally I liked fizz more.. but I know MF fits into more decks.
since a legendary is on average stronger than a normal card and you are restricted to only one offs.. legendaries get too much of a plus... sure highlander decks are strong currently but so are some cheaper decks as well,
If zephrys and co. are not banned, the commander will be a no brainer.. of course it would be zephrys..
the decks in HS aren't that big anyway so having a "always drawn" card is not such a big bonus.
You also get an ashe deck after logging in for 7 days..
upgrade means a random loot just became better for you (instead of giving you the random upgrade, they are telling you that it got upgraded so you feel more lucky).
avoid? actually nothing.. you can do whatever there is no wrong and right.. it's not hearthstone if you craft a deck and it gets nerfed first of all the nerfs are not that harsh, also you have enough resources to craft ANOTHER deck shortly after.
I feel this deck is the most fun I ever had in card games, it seem to have no tools to deal with anything but it does do work.. cause it draws so much!
you never feel out of steam and TF is my favorite runeterra champion! I barely ever play him in league (I played Fizz waaay more (level 6 btw)) but tf is so much fun to play.
the reason this deck runs 2 fizzes is cause I don't have the third it's probably better to have a third.
Of course I didn't try it against good players yet so who knows.. it's probably unfavored.. I would add Eye of the Dragon if I felt like the meta is 50% burn.. but I didn't climb high enough yet so.. it's fine ATM
Do we have a salt thread for Runeterra yet, or does the original one apply to all games?
We needs one actually.. I would make one but notifications..
TBH I face burn twice with my TF-fizz plunder deck won both encounters (that being said I am in bronze cause I started playing ranked only yesterday), if they don't connect with face and you got counters for fervor and the demolishionists you can negate a lot of damage, also try to kill the "on attack deal damage" units before they attack, also play very aggressive, make them make trades if they want to survive.
here's how I would tech/play against them with every region
Shadow isles: RIP burn.
Freljord: tech in the barkeeper, have frost availeable, play aggressive.
Noxus: remove their stuff, stuns, don't let them connect.
Demacia: get life steal minions, single combat demolitionist/fervor.
P&Z: save removal for fervor/demotionist.. save burn to cast second in stack to win before they do (if it's close..)
Ionia: spirit refuge, will/deny.. etc.
Blilgewater: steal their burn and burn them instead :D
Nomi didn't end up making the cut, like other food references, to keep the search from getting too unruly. The previous searches had so many words, I decided to try something lighter.
Who knows, maybe we get another one of these down the line with the rest of the foods :D
nomi doesn't make the cut anymore huh? RIP chef nomi year of the dragon~year of the dragon

The thing is you need to plunder to activate him.. this is not so easy, unless you run Make it Rain, Warning Shot or Yordle Grifter.
Also Monkey Idol might be an easy plunder, but again you have to either be winning or use resources to get the plunder bonus.

I know what you are talking about.

Not free :( unless you know otherwise @flux
It's on the watchlist.. but the whole stealing cards is a big bilgewater mechanic..
so they could :
1. tell you which cards were stolen (so it's worse than card draw since it's easy to play around)
OR
2. give you a copy of the cards (While still consider it a draw for TF and slot bot purposes)
Also I think it's best if it steals cards from the bottom of the deck to keep Freljord deck buff viable.
Nerf mana cost.. sure.. but then you weaken TF considerably.. :(
So one sibling is a druid and the other a demon hunter.. where did I seen it before? hmmm..
VENGEANCE!
too much p2w

Was about to open a thread about how much fun I am having with this TF/Fizz deck:
I feel this deck is the most fun I ever had in card games, it seem to have no tools to deal with anything but it does do work.. cause it draws so much!

the reason this deck runs 2 fizzes is cause I don't have the third it's probably better to have a third.
My favorite wild deck is even renolock, there are 2 reasons:1
1.I play for a long while, and I have been accumulating highlander legendaries.
2. Warlock is my 2nd most played class (after paladin) I just like how many options the class has.
Well I took my TF deck as an example, here you can generate tempo by playing Pilfered Goods :
Of course I didn't try it against good players yet so who knows.. it's probably unfavored.. I would add Eye of the Dragon if I felt like the meta is 50% burn.. but I didn't climb high enough yet so.. it's fine ATM

boogeymoster got an attack voice? I never saw that card attacking in none battlegrounds game.
wa confuse as well tbh.
nomi doesn't make the cut anymore huh? RIP chef nomi year of the dragon~year of the dragon
Darius Crowley it was bette not by TOO much it would rarely get more than one trigger. it was decent though.
How could you miss chef nomi? on both scavenger and this word search I was sure he was related to food..
"Good enough to eat" ironically he burnt everything.
