This was definitely the toughest task of this event.
After a few tries, and a fortunate set of Azshara tasks, I finally squeaked by with a dragon party and plenty of Shadow synergy. Nefarian scored a treasure that stole stats from all enemies at the start of the game, and that was what tipped the balance in my favor.
I did this one with Nature (Cookie, Morgl, Brukan, Guff, and Brightwing) plus Xyrella, who picked up a Blinding Subjugation treasure and then it was all over for the guzzler gang.
I like the idea of making Coren a protector for max damage.
A Hearthstone moment that never fails to warm my heart: when my opponent has a brand new hero and is looking for any excuse to try all their new emotes.

Good luck with these fishes, all!
I meant to have fish. And I meant to test whether I could cast the ability without winning and see if it met the task requirements.
But Yogg had other ideas. The fish kept gaining a bit of attack and then smashing their cute little faces into Yshaarj's taunted terror.
So when Oh My Yogg came online I just went for it...and all the enemies died, so now I have a lovely portrait but no less uncertainty.
I suspect it's just what the old gods would want.

Is this creature an owl with horns and wing-claws?
Also, the art looks like a close match to the one next (later today) in the reveal schedule.
I doubt this is going the
Choose One:
direction, so I'm guessing the new Infuse mechanic will be involved.
From the story you've presented above, maybe Remornia starts as a weapon card that Infuses into a minion?
My naga are not very powerful yet, maybe I'll work on that this week.
Thanks for the data!
I'm also wondering how task 7 will work. Will Oh My Yogg need to be the winning move? Or will the fact that I queued it be enough. We shall see.
The news is in: looks like excess coins will re-roll into coins for a random Merc in your collection.
Reaching legend while collecting achievement XP? Well played, indeed.
If your opponent plays the curses you give her, does that reduce some of the damage, or just create more space in her hand?
Similarly, if her hand is full, should I stop adding curses, or does the damage counter continue to rise?
I finished the set of tasks this morning, thanks in no small part to Avalon's guides - thanks!
These events are fun, more fun with teamwork and commentary.
Co-signed. Straight to heck!
First party wipe in Normal mode. Ugh.
There's one at the end of the Barrens that just unlocked - it was locked yesterday.
Not sure if there are others in other zones.
Have fun, y'all!
I had no idea Lady Vashj could play the guitar.
Plenty of innovative effects overall. Looking forward to the patch!
When it comes to packs you should either:
1) open as many packs as feels fun to you.
2) open until you get basically all of the Rares and maybe the Epics. Pulling a legendary Merc from a pack is not likely.
I think it's likely that most of the details will be available before the patch hits.
Oh, are recaps more reveals? I thought that was more of a here's-why-we-did-this discussion than a here's-a-new card video.
So I play this, and I have three minions on board. But only two of them can actually attack anything?
Do the hands also get a turn to attack something else?
The reveal schedule looks like it's all Twitter. Not sharing the spotlight with any other content creators this time, eh?
I'm sorry about all the Curses. I'm only playing that deck for the achievement.

Just happened yesterday with Paladin Finley.
I've been thinking about ways to nerf Drekthar, and what if his effect more closely mirrored Vanndar's?
For example, if this costs more than every minion in your deck, give them all +1/+2
Vanndar discounts your large minions, Drekthar buffs your small ones; each of them is a 4 mana 4/4 alone on the board.
