Very underwhelming as an effect. Part of the reason Vilespine Slayer was an amazing card was because it allowed for Rogues to continue out-tempo-ing the opponent for a victory where as elemental mage is not a tempo deck and it's very hard to accomplish the corrupt effect, unlike Vilespine Slayers combo effect.
I guess Highlander mage can splash this card is it is low on minion removal, but that's the best, I think, this card can accomplish.
As a standalone card, this is very good. As a tool for elemental mage, this is also very good. But elemental mage is very bad. So for now, this is mostly just a sidequest enabler with a really decent body overall attached.
Trades 2 attack for a more permanent effect when compared to Kirin Tor Mage for a persistent effect. I'm not sure this is the right trade in a tempo deck, but persistent effects have been historically very powerful.
I get the argument of "a lot of keywords confuses players". But that's what the freaking bubble that shows up when a keyword card is highlighted is for: ending confusion. The insane amount of cards that recycles old expansion keywords without using said keywords is pretty big these days and it becomes almost insulting to play us for fools with stuff like this.
Now, after the rant is over, I can see this card being slotted in Highlander Hunter. In fact, the midrange-y nature of the card and of the deck makes me think it's a match made in heaven.
Does it activate only when you have 2 minions or when you have 2+ minions (because the first option is insanely limiting to the viability of the card and technically, that's what the card reads).
It's very similar to Feral Rage, except Corrupt will simply naturally happen while playing this card than activating the choose both portion of Feral Rage.
A more defensive tech option for Soul DH. I say the biggest weakness this card has is that it can't go face while controling the board, unlike Blade Dance.
I am glad to see them utilizing Outcast more. This looks like a strong tempo play which will scale nicely over a few turns. It's like Tiny Knight of Evil but Outcast instead of Discard.
Except Outcast is a lot stronger than discard and Redeemed Pariah is naturally harder to remove (2/3 is a much better base statline for self buffing cards than 3/2).
Think of it like a slightly more damaging Maelstrom Portal, except you remove the 1 drop in favor of a 1 mana Fiery War Axe. I believe pure aggro DH was given enough tools to reemerge as a viable deck and this card is very good reason why.
Question: does the Outcast need to be active for this card to discount it? If not, you can drop un-oucasted cards with a discount for extra tempo, which can be game winning in its own right.
And even if Outcast does need to be active, Aggro DH uses Outcast a lot AND has a small shortage of good 3 drops, often relying on a "not really a 3 drop" 3 drop in Satyr Overseer.
If I recall correctly, pure aggro DH dropped Skull of Gul'dan in favor of more aggressive cards and Voracious Reader. This card could easily fill a role similar to Skull of Gul'dan in the deck while being more versatile and simply be used as an Arcane Intellect.
I'm not sure this card will see a lot of play: the two decks I can see that could run this are Soul DH, in which this card faces competition from, in my opinion, the best AoE in the game right now, Shardshatter Mystic, and control/ big demon DH, which currently doesn't exist.
Best comparison would be Evasive Wyrm. Wyrm is better in more midrange-y where a deal 5 to a minion comes with board presence, but on very control oriented decks Claw Machine is a prefered option for the solt/function as a card.
Best use of this card is by having a board on the same turn you Twisting Nether. Seeing as how they are pushing a control style Corrupt Warlock, I can see this card being in the deck. However, I'm not too sure whether or not Corrupt Warlock will rise above Tier 3, considering how bad warlock is atm.
I see this card as a 4/5 deal 4. Its fine, I guess. Any synergies that show up with it are pretty insane though. However, dealing 5 damage to a minion past turn 5 isn't insanely hard for most classes (and very easy for some of them).

Another cheap dude to splash in Highlander Hunter. The corrupt requirement is also very easy to accomplish.

Looks very promising. On turn 1, it guarantees a curve and after that, it makes sure you get the right secret at the right time.
Landscaping saw play in Treant druid and, although this isn't as good by itself, Faire Arborist can see a similar role in the deck.
