680 totalVery underwhelming as an effect. Part of the reason [card]Vilespine Slayer[/card] was an amazing card was because it allowed for Rogues to continue out-tempo-ing the opponent for a victory where as elemental mage is not a tempo deck and it's …
As a standalone card, this is very good. As a tool for elemental mage, this is also very good. But elemental mage is very bad. So for now, this is mostly just a sidequest enabler with a really decent body …
Trades 2 attack for a more permanent effect when compared to [card]Kirin Tor Mage[/card] for a persistent effect. I'm not sure this is the right trade in a tempo deck, but persistent effects have been historically very powerful.
Another cheap dude to splash in Highlander Hunter. The corrupt requirement is also very easy to accomplish.
I get the argument of "a lot of keywords confuses players". But that's what the freaking bubble that shows up when a keyword card is highlighted is for: ending confusion. The insane amount of cards that recycles old expansion keywords …
Does it activate only when you have 2 minions or when you have 2+ minions (because the first option is insanely limiting to the viability of the card and technically, that's what the card reads).
Looks very promising. On turn 1, it guarantees a curve and after that, it makes sure you get the right secret at the right time.
[card]Landscaping[/card] saw play in Treant druid and, although this isn't as good by itself, [card]Faire Arborist[/card] can see a similar role in the deck.
It's very similar to [card]Feral Rage[/card], except Corrupt will simply naturally happen while playing this card than activating the choose both portion of [card]Feral Rage[/card].
🐛In the dungeon I go deeper🐛
🐛in set reviews I was a sleeper🐛
🐛when minions die I get cheaper🐛
🐛You guessed it right🐛
🐛I'm corridor creeper🐛
A more defensive tech option for Soul DH. I say the biggest weakness this card has is that it can't go face while controling the board, unlike [card]Blade Dance[/card].
Quote From KANSAS I am glad to see them utilizing Outcast more. This looks like a strong tempo play which will scale nicely over a few turns. It's like [card]Tiny Knight of Evil[/card] but Outcast instead of Discard.
…
Think of it like a slightly more damaging [card]Maelstrom Portal[/card], except you remove the 1 drop in favor of a 1 mana [card]Fiery War Axe[/card]. I believe pure aggro DH was given enough tools to reemerge as a viable deck …
Question: does the Outcast need to be active for this card to discount it? If not, you can drop un-oucasted cards with a discount for extra tempo, which can be game winning in its own right.
And even if …
If I recall correctly, pure aggro DH dropped [card]Skull of Gul'dan[/card] in favor of more aggressive cards and [card]Voracious Reader[/card]. This card could easily fill a role similar to [card]Skull of Gul'dan[/card] in the deck while being more versatile and …
I'm not sure this card will see a lot of play: the two decks I can see that could run this are Soul DH, in which this card faces competition from, in my opinion, the best AoE in the game …
Best comparison would be [card]Evasive Wyrm[/card]. Wyrm is better in more midrange-y where a deal 5 to a minion comes with board presence, but on very control oriented decks [card]Claw Machine[/card] is a prefered option for the solt/function as a …
Best use of this card is by having a board on the same turn you [card]Twisting Nether[/card]. Seeing as how they are pushing a control style Corrupt Warlock, I can see this card being in the deck. However, I'm not …
I see this card as a 4/5 deal 4. Its fine, I guess. Any synergies that show up with it are pretty insane though. However, dealing 5 damage to a minion past turn 5 isn't insanely hard for most classes …
