Ironically the Pirate Rogue minion I'm the most hesitant on, and she's supposed to be the crown jewel! Simply put, a quest-lite condition that isn't always guaranteed to be in hand when you need it or clogs up your hand when you don't seems suspect to me. Sure there's going to be match ups where stealing say Kazakusan's Deck of Treasures is hilarious, I'm just not sure Hooktusk will be as good of a Checkmate move that high-cost cards typically need to be.
Is it Tracking with an extra step? Yes it is. But those extra steps helps you set up for Swordfish on a later turn or immediately pull out the Sunken Vessel.
While it doesn't quite synergize with Sunken Vessel (that's what Gone Fishin' is for but I digress,) this is a really good card for Pirate Rogue, setting up for some aggressive damage over the next few turns.
Even if everyone and their mother were playing Dredge cards, this is a potent removal card by clogging up the bottom three or wasting resources trying to dredge it back up.
Straight up a better Arcanite Reaper already, but also key in pulling out the Sunken Defectors to the top. 100% going to be the top end of Aggro DH for the next year.
Could be very powerful with DH's access to cheap spells, though DH doesn't really have a Sorcerer's Apprentice to go with this Flamewaker, and there's not a whole lot of minion buffs available to DH .
DH has a plethora of good draw options, so it's really telling when they make this one over-costed for it's effect. Likely to make Vanndar tutoring not as strong, but there's not much Big DH cards left around after rotation... Unless Core Set...?
Because he's Plot Twist on a stick, I don't really see him being that integral, unless you're doing some super scammy stuff like Kazakusan into Finley to replace your hand with the treasures. Other than that, I don't really see Aggro decks playing him since he doesn't actually reload the hand.
Way too slow for Wild Pirates, but when Standard Pirate Warrior feels slow and clunky ever since the Questline nerf, this'll be a necessary inclusion to keep up in the next meta.

With Gone Fishin' I think a 4 mana turn of Prep into Azsharan Vessel into Fishin' to pull the Sunken Vessel immediately will a VERY common play.

Even if Pirate Rogue as an archetype sinks, we're going to see this EVERYWHERE. It's super aggressive, cheap damage.
Just a straight up a generically good card for Rogue, could honestly fit in all but the most demanding deck building conditions.

ALMOST a bad Prep on a stick, paired with Azsharan Vessel, Blood in the Water, and Smokescreen, it becomes... Okay?...
Yeah, nevermind, this IS a bad Prep on a stick.
More like "I CAN TASTE THE MANA!!!"
With a Bone Glaive on the following turn to curve out, the Sunken Defectors are starting to look very scary.

Well Naga Mage is going to be a thing this expansion, and I for one welcome our new Overlords.

Really strong attack boost, even if only one swing can be pointed at face.
Assuming DH still has some good weapon options on 3, this is an excellent card to have.
We're saved from the Snowfall Guardian Meta everyone!

Counterspell on a Stick: I sleep
Counter minions on a Stick: REAL CARD?!
Already making things awkward in the current meta, this is a real curve ball minion who will see play somewhere in each meta for the next 2 years.
