  • I really didn't expect an announcement this big before Blizzconline. Some thoughts:

    - Classic Format: WoW Classic but for Hearthstone. I didn't know there was a demand for this. Sounds cool though.

    - Baku & Genn returning to Witchwood: I don't play Wild at all, but I think that should've been done when Witchwood rotated out.

    - 27 deck slots: Guess that's the easiest way to do it, but the deck selection UI was designed when there were nine classes. Now that there are ten, maybe that UI should be updated.

  • Maybe it get's overwhelming for some people or something, but I think if I'm unable to complete some achievements in the current expansion cycle, I'd like to still be able to get XP for the next cycle to make up for some of the gold I missed in this one.

  • I wonder if they would make another currency for portraits. Possibly one that you can get only by DEing other portraits or spending real world money. If they do use the same arcane dust, I'm guessing a portrait will cost more than a legendary. There could be different "rarities" too.

  • Normally they announced the final expansion of the year at Blizzcon, but they couldn't because it isn't being held in November this time. I think it's a bit early to announce the April expansion, but I think it's a given the new game mode will be revealed and probably something like the name of the new year, and info on the Classic rework. Year of the Dragon was announced on Feb. 28, 2019.

  • So now that that's fixed, what happens with leftover snowballs? It looks like they can still be purchased in the shop.

  • Looks like throwing snowballs still works.

  • As long as it isn't yellow snow.

  • I thought I should point out that the Hearthstone word search doesn't have the word search tag.

  • It looks like iOS is still on the old version. I checked the App Store, and there wasn't an update. Maaaybe the freezing bug will be fixed when the actual 19.4.1 patch hits the App Store.

  • I hope you aren't waiting until the very last day. I may miss it if it goes up after my daily visit to the site.

  • How about you can use the old or new Webspinner, or 1 of each, so long as you don't have more than 2 Webspinners in your deck? That way existing decks don't get invalidated, and you can choose based on which art you like better or something.

  • I don't get this argument about not allowing achievements in casual. Is Dean confusing casual mode with playing a match with a friend? I agree that it would be far too easy to cheat out achievements with a friend, but in casual against a rando that is very likely not cooperating?

  • I always thought it would be crazy to add new classes in back to back years. I thought maybe it would be possible that we'd see monk or dk in 2022. I vote for having all the WoW classes represented before they make new ones.

When they do make a dk class, should they make the existing dk cards collectible?

  • Last time I checked on my iPad it still had the wrong art for Town Crier. I guess that will be fixed. I'm expecting a delay for mobile because bug fixes mean code changes. Unless they're server-side bugs. I know I've seen balance patches where you didn't have to wait because it could just download the new data from Blizzard servers since none of the executable code changed.

  • It said cloned 4 times, so I thought it was 1 original, then 4 clones, times 6 different cards. That would work out to a standard 30 card deck. If it was actually 28, I didn't notice. I could've added up the cards in my hand and deck if I'd thought it would be different than 30.

  • My offer is the 2 legendaries and 20 packs bundle. I haven't spent any money on Hearthstone in a while.

  • I've been curious as to how the heck Flux can figure out things like BoH release order, or upcoming quests from the game data, but I assumed it's a trade secret, so I never tried to ask. They're not in the strings files. I've tried a couple different Unity extractors, but there's just so much, and I don't know where to start. Maybe if I was familiar with Unity.

I have VS 2019 on my "gaming rig," but it's also the only Windows machine I have.

  • I've tried duels a few times. Usually I just get 2 wins, 3 if I'm lucky. I try to look online for starter decks because any deck I would make from scratch would invariably be terrible, but there's never any deck I have all the cards for, and I usually have no clue what would be viable replacements. If there are any.

  • Does anybody ever play Windfury with Tiller? Because that would break that interaction.

  • I swear I read this a couple days ago. Was it taken down and republished?
