So time played is now a factor, as opposed to just winning. I wonder if that will have an effect on the meta dissuading aggro favoring control for long stalled out games? I hope not.edit: No doesn't seem like it would - good.
Wasn't clear on what was meant by roping being a strategy some will employ or not. I hope not.
This does seem to confirm though that simply playing 3 games a day on my NA, EU and Asia accounts + laddering to D5 are not going to be enough. I hope not.
I guess in this new reward system there will always be upsides and downsides. Can't wait for achievements though and a shake up might be just what's needed. Will be interesting to see when we get more info about the XP progression from experience with the game.
Yes same - EU has all the adventures but the other ones only go back as far as Karazhan. EU always got priority with free twitch drop packs and climbing ladder etc and is my one true account.
Still, we forged ahead with making a showing in other parts of the Hearthstone world as we could my friend :)
Kinda got attached to my NA and Asia accounts which have about 6K wins between them and lots of cards I don't have on my main EU account.
Retired these days so I have a lot of time. That was fine as playing on the others didn't hurt my main account really, but I think that ends today.
Will still play on them for a bit to get an idea of how viable they can be with the new progression system and limited effort on my part but I guess all good things come to an end. Likely will be better to invest the time on my EU main now.
Have a lot of friends on NA and a few on Asia so will maybe just check in to those accounts for that reason and not serious playing.
Thanks so much for the reminder - I'd forgotten and had full quest logs on my 3 accounts (NA, EU and Asia).
Speaking of which, it might be time to retire NA and Asia leaving just my main EU account.
The new progression system sounds like it will take a lot more work to obtain the resources needed to get a viable number of packs each expansion + mini expansion. At the moment I can simply just clear my quest logs simply playing a few games win or lose if I don't have much time. The new system doesn't sound quite so easy to make progress (though likely has benefits we don't enjoy right now).
Whereas before I could easily progress with 3 accounts without hindering my main, I think that's going to change now. Mostly I played on 3 so I could play different decks on them depending on what each of the packed. I'll try for a bit and keep a record of how they progress, but I suspect I will be saying goodbye to 2 of them.
It's a hard balance to get right I guess. Keep games fun and different every time. Have a healthy amount of RNG sure but don't go mad.
Personally I never thought Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron was an OK design for constructed. Brawls or PVE - sure. But when it's so good it's a common sight in ranked tournaments and an overdose of RNG to decide so many games in which is played I'd say it's too much.
In fairness to those that love the card, I only play Wild now where it sees 0 play so it's more than possible I'm totally wrong.
In the new expansion we have the possibility for repeated random pyros to decide the game. So I guess we should just embrace it. And it does make good Trolden videos :P
If you read this site then you already know, but just in case:
Clear your quests now leaving empty quest log
PM'd my friends on NA and EU and about 10 of them didn't know.
That's a point and with the added benefit of potential win bonuses too.
As long a ladder queue time isn't like it is on EU Wild at some times during the day which I'm sure it's not for most.

So glad Amazing LP got another reveal (though why would he not).
One of the best things about reveal season.
Would recommend it being noted in the article title the reveal video is from him in case anyone missed it given the other reveals.

See? Totally OP!!!!! (for the opponent)
Stealth nerf to Millhouse Manastorm one of the most powerful cards in HS history.
Yes it will. Gonna be fun (but probably not good) in wild with Lyra.
Or other types of wild priest with Radiant Elemental and Sethekk Veilweaver
I hope it doesn't fit in Reno Priest though. (I don't play it so not best placed to judge).
You are a ****ing genius. And you scare me. I can't face playing against a viable Angry Chicken
Seems like a good arena card.

It's a whole new HS world :)
But he's a legendary so he must be good! Almost as good as my Anomalus I got from my Old Gods packs.......
I just know I'm going to run in to an odd paladin who plays this irrespective of what the best meta odd pala deck is.
When I try to clear their dudes I'll end up buffing them I know it.
You mean my Moorabi is useless? Noooooo!!!!!!!!
Maybe one day if they actually make good cards for freeze Shaman which I assume will never happen.

I have it. I want to play it. I will break the meta with it!!!!!!
OK, that last assertion may have less than 100% accuracy.
I expect most opponents to insta concede when I play it for 1 mana anyway due to my sheer audcacity.
If I pack this card, at some point definitely going to try memeing with it.
Hir'eek, the Bat, Mayor Noggenfogger, Grand Archivist, Voidlord, Void Ripper, Master Oakheart
Good? No - no it's not. Fun when drunk? YES!
I'm sure there will be a proper meme deck when someone gives it more thought than I did.
Yes it's being played a lot at the moment in my experience.
If opponent already played tour guide on the previous turn they'll get two shield silver hand recruits on turn 5 (or 4 with coin).
At least it's not 3 mana with less stats.
Exactly what I thought just now when I woke up and checked the reveals.
