Haven't played Zephrys against secrets yet, but I have found him to be very predictable in some scenarios. I had one game with opponent at 12 health with a large taunt, and I had a 10 attack minion. I played Blessing of Kings first so my minion had lethal damage, then played Zephrys for a Sap. I also had a hilarious game where I had stuck an Annoy-o-Module on a Mechano-Egg. My opponent played Zephrys at 8 mana, got Cabal Shadow Priest and stole the egg. I played Zephrys in response, and you guessed it ... Cabal Shadow Priest.
I think a good way to interpret "Wish for the perfect card" is "Set up the board if possible so the card you want has maximum value." If a Fireball or a Bloodlust will give lethal and you have the mana, he WILL offer it.
I made a thread with this exact idea. I hope they do it! I'm thinking of crafting him on my daughter's account, as she has a very small collection and Whizbang will allow her to play better decks.
Just unpacked this quest, so I'll give this a spin. I actually just beat a quest priest by not attacking him ever until I have lethal. His quest was literally at 0/15 the while game. Your list will do better because of all the self-harm minions.
I'm guessing others have already discovered this, but this spell will only draw you one copy of a beast if you have more than one of the same beast. I'm trying to make Krush OTK work with only Krush and 2 Scarlet Webweavers. Call draws Krush and one Webweaver. Still good.
My new favorite card for sure. I like to save him for lethal, which he will always give you if he can. Otherwise, he can save you in so many situations. I would definitely not call him OP because of the singleton requirement. If you intend to use him, read up on how. It's super useful to know what he can/can't do.
I got my 9 year old daughter into Hearthstone, and she really enjoys it. She gets more out of opening packs and building decks than actually playing, but she has fun. She plays pretty rarely, so I don't want to put real money into her account. I build her decks with her and help her play, and we can barely win any games, even at Rank 21. I'm wondering if anyone can suggest a viable deck for someone with a very limited collection. We're not aiming for legend here, just to be able win enough games for quest completion and having some fun. She has SN1P-SN4P and Vargoth, obviously, plus Zilliax, Kalecgos, Dr. Boom, Velen, Brightwing, and the new Shaman and Rogue quests. Not too many quality epics, etc.
I've been playing it in wild with Zephrys, both Renos, and Kazakus. Don't have Solia. Lots of fun. Winning inconsistently. Lots of fun though. Zephrys might be my new favorite card.
Just wanted to put this out there: I've hosted a bunch of actual public Gatherings over the last couple years, and it's wicked fun. You meet local people who love to play Hearthstone, and generally have a blast. Plus, I've added a ton of folks to my friends list for 80 gold challenges.
I also love that you can do these privately too, for people who don't want to do public ones. I have gotten a few people location-spoofing because they want to get Nemsy or the Fireside cardback. I think it's lame, since they can just make their own Gathering.
Pre-release Gatherings are extra fun because of the special No Cards Barred brawl. You can whip up some CRAZY decks! Underbelly Fence is a good card, right? Why not run 14 of them?
I always enjoyed playing Adapt minions from Un'Goro. This is like that, with slightly different options. Should be fun and reasonably useful. I'm guessing we are offered all 4?
Hearthstone says I need to update to latest version (as of yesterday's patch) but my phone says all its apps are up to date. Wondering if others are having this issue, and how to solve. I have a Moto G4 and my Hearthstone app is through the Amazon store.
Yeah, I zoolock rolled the titanic lackey against me earlier today. I'm wondering if it's a bug, or intended. If a bug, I'm salty AF, cuz that really screwed me over. I ended up losing right before I stabilized with a huge Zilliax (he topdecked soulfire).
I completed this challenge pretty recently. I remember a time when I thought I never would, but here I am. It feels really good to have done it, and I love showing off my golden heroes. Gul'Dan was my first golden hero too!
Super fun: try Wailing Soul and Void Ripper. Make sure you've got a decent board of chess pieces on turn 7, then silence them all, swap them into 6/1's etc, then win. I run it in priest with Cleric, Shield, Circle and Binding Heal.
Anyone else have a fully created profile, yet no profile achievement? Am I missing something?

Have all the cards, so why not? Looks fun.

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone! Any thoughts on Whizbang? She has the dust...

Ah yes, the good ol' uninstall/reinstall. Works every time! Thanks, peeps!

NICE!

My bad, I meant the winrates he gets on average, not that his winrates are average. His winrates far surpass my own, so I'm not dissing!
RIP Faceless Behemoth. But will this see play? I think Trimutius said it best.
