Great stats for cost and a potentially strong effect. I'm so curious to see if these Dormant minions will be good. Basically, you're banking tempo for later.
Just like Voidcaller, yes, but your opponent has to play around it very differently. You'd often try to leave an opponent's Voidcaller on the board until you have a way to kill it AND whatever it summons. With 8 attack, you need to deal with this. Voidcaller was also strong because Warlock has many ways of killing his own minions. Will Demon Hunter?
I think the main value of this is how it disrupts your opponent's turns. They won't want to develop onto the board with this AOE coming, and if they forget to play around it they get punished. Dormant minions will also play well with Defender of Argus and Sunfury Protector, since you'll know you have a minion on board to taunt up.
I'm intrigued by the possibility of a no-minions mage, but at the same time, why is this exactly Firelands Portal for less? Couldn't it have done something slightly different?
No fun in the early game, but later it can be really good. I agree with a lot of people above saying how frustrating it will be to get aced by an opponent generating useful stuff off this, but I'll try it out anyway. Pairs well with Kael'thas!
Insane card! Casting random spells (through Reno, Puzzle Box, etc.) has proven to be at least decent in most scenarios. Now with enemy targeting and spell damage thrown in, this will be very strong. I'll be curious to see how many Mage spells can go face once Outland is released and Year of the Raven sets rotate.
Unlike other Prime generators, this has Rush so you can trade it immediately to guarantee the Prime version goes in your deck before your opponent can steal or silence.
Big potential here. Druid is a class that can usually afford to "do nothing" on turn 3, especially is it means something like Winged Guardian coming down for 2 mana on turn 5.
Comparable to Krag'Wa, but without the "previous turn" restriction. Clearly, a strong card for Wild Quest Paladin.

That's what I was thinking! Jam Kael'thas, then reduce/clear the board with a couple cheap spells and let these guys rip
Kael'thas is the only reason I can see this being much good. Saving 2 mana when you're already at 7? Not turning many games around otherwise.
This will see play for sure. Molten reflection saw lots of play, albeit in a very different type of deck, and this has the added Taunt bonus.

Pit Commander says hi. Pit Commander wants to hang out with this minion.
Looks very good! Instant DR trigger.
So, yes, exactly Explorer's Hat. But this one includes the word "spell" for some reason. Like, what else would it be?

Can't wait to play this at 8 mana or more with an empty hand and discover more secrets to chain. But also, solid 2-drop.

Fine, unlike MOST other Prime generators. My point still stands.
This card plays really nice with other Hunter cards coming out with this set, like the Porcupine and Leoroxx.
Solid value on turn 3, potentially a lot more value with buffs either in hand or while on board.

Yeah, this will rock. Makes King Krush playable, but there will be many other sweet combos too.
