With any buffs he becomes hard to deal with. As a 2/6, he just destroys your board position, and when they manage to make him a 3/7 there aren't many spells that will remove him.

I don't even feel like he needed the free 3/3 Lvl 1. He's now a re-usable kill spell (That can block stuff)

I'm not sure I understand how Fizz works. You just spam spells to give him elusive and protect him?

Went to my homepage. It told me to click to get my Gauntlet reward.

I click on the button. Nothing happens. What is the reward and where is it?

    In reply to Gaunlet reward?

Considering that you can get pretty much everything for free.I really see no reason they should give us coins. It would make no sense.

Thx. I had assumed it was like in MtG and nothing could happen while a spell was resolving.

Wait, does Jinx's level up effect check while a spell is resolving?

Like in the case of Rummage. If I only have two cards in hand, would she level up when I discard the first two cards? Before I draw the next two. Or does the effect have to wait until the spell is resolved to check? (in which case, I don't see any synergy)

Dude, do me a favour and don't be a bad role model teaching kids to play burn.

But my first deck already looks like that lol.

But I know what the deck issue was. It seems that the image on the decks is random. That's why I thought we had different ones.

I actually like thermogenic beam. It lets me either remove early blockers or mid game large threats. It hasn't been a liability yet. And I find it fun to play. Granted it sometimes can be a disadvantage to be able to only play it for full cost. But I guess the ability to be both early and late game removal can't be free.

But yes, I will eventually be replacing the areonaut when I find something that fits. I've been on the fence over Get Excited! because the deck tends to already give me card disadvantage against my opponent. And the 3 cost slot tends to get clogged as well.

Unless you want to make decks only by yourself try looking up other people's decks (and meta).

I'll be looking up the meta eventually. But I want to start by constructing myself and learning from my mistakes. Otherwise, I find that my outlook becomes more narrow.

Boomcrew Rookie is already in the deck.. I've been considering the other 2 cost cards. I just don't have them yet.

Jinx isn't a very strong champion ATM so I'd avoid her,

I'm only using her because it was the best option among what I have. I want to play the deck a bit before I start using my wild cards.

If OP doesn't have that demon (Teemo) yet then some additional burn will suffice at lower ranks. Get Excited!Blade's Edge or, if you want a fun card, try Jinx.

I have a strange feeling that people are not actually looking at my decklist....

This is the first deck I created.

I won one game and lost 5 with it so far.

I'm not sure if early game aggro decks are viable in the game, as low cost removal is limited and finding blockers isn't difficult.

Something as simple as a House Spider can ruin my board position. And I cannot deal with late game cards. I'm still not sure about

Legion Rearguard. Having it do something on turn 1 is mostly up to luck and attacking first.  And I'm wondering if a 1 cost 2/2 isn't better than a 3 /1 that can't block. I also recently learned that allies that can't block can still be forced to block. (Would have been nice if it had a narrow upside)

Once the enemy has blocked a few, or traded,  they overtake me with larger threats.

Obviously, some card choices are not optimal as I'm still building my collection.

Welcome to Runeterra (and this site)!

I've played since open Beta so I'm not sure if they've changed something with the official launch, but after completing the tutorials you had three different pre-constructed decks: Ionia/Piltover&Zaun (with Jinx & Zed), Noxus/Shadow Isles (with Elise and Darius), and Demacia/Freljord (with Braum, Garen, Lux, and Tryndamere). During the launch celebrations, you were also rewarded with a fourth deck, Freljord/Shadow Isles (with Braum, Ashe, and Tryndamere). I haven't heard of any other preconstructed deck existing. As far as I know, the decks should be the same for everyone.

Topandito already explained upgrades: the card was supposed to be a regular copy of that rarity but randomly upgraded into a wildcard. And as they mention, chests/capsules can upgrade as well but I don't think you can see the upgrade text then (or maybe I just click through everything too fast).

I don't think there's anything special you should avoid as a new player. I fully recommend playing through all the tutorials as they teach all the mechanics but after that you're free to play what you want. Aggro is very much viable, and you've chosen a good region combination for that. Here's an example of a top tier aggro deck:

Don't feel forced to aim towards that only, especially as a newcomer you should try out different things and work with your collection.

How do you format your decklist like this?? I don't see any coding.

    (Edit, NVM I found it)

Ok, I guess my brother must have registered some time ago and got the extra deck.

One more thing. I noticed one time that an ally being killed in response to them creating en effect would remove that effect from play. But a few games later the same thing happened and the "spell" still remained. Is it only removed when the ally is destroyed by a burst spell?

So I just started playing last week.

I was talking with my brother today, and he has a pre-constructed deck that I don't, and vice versa. But I completed the tutorial and challenges and there doesn't seem to be a way to unlock more. Are some of the unlocked decks random?

Also, what does it mean when a wild card in my rewards is labeled "Upgrade"

Lastly, anything a new player should avoid?  I tried building a full aggro deck with "Legion rearguard" and "Patrol Wardens" among others. But I'm not sure if these type of deck are viable in this game.
