Basically, only classes that can use Gadgetzan Auctioneer can actually hope to abuse Kael.
Obviously, you need to have both extremely cheap spells AND big ones, possibly with card draw included.
Other than Wild Druid (which is still pretty inconsistent tho), Rogue, Shaman, and Demon Hunter can effectively hope to use Kael atm: funnily enough, those are EXACTLY the classes with Akama, Lady Vashj and Illidan Stormrage: the allies of Kael'thas Sunstrider in the TFT Campaign!
In the vast majority of cases, this is basically a Spellbreaker that can deal 3 direct damage.
Uh... no, even the worst case scenario is WAY better than that: your Hero can also ignore taunts. So even without any other minions on your side, it's 3 attack PLUS whatever Hero attack you can cobble together from weapons, the Hero Power, and other attack-buff cards.
This is also what Spellbreaker does (except 3 damage ofc).
If you silence taunt, anything else can also bypass it.
The only case where Kayn is superior is against multiple taunt minions. Which is pretty uncommon nowadays.
Obviously, with spellbreaker HoFed, Kayn shines more.
But then a more versatile and equally costed legendary arises: Maiev Shadowsong.
Might see play in some kind of handlock deck, but those decks have been gutted with the premature death of our good friend Mountain Giant. Maybe in Even Warlock in wild?
Kanrethad Ebonlocke is great for Turn-2 swing in Zoolock, with cheap demons at hand (up to 5-6 minions down for 2-mana), with room to grow more and more reliable the more 1-cost efficient Demons they release, especially in Wild. If only we had a Crystology for Warlocks...
Kanrethad Prime is excellent to generate great swing turns in later game, especially for a Midrange Demonlock.
However, for Wild purposes Kanrethad Prime is battlecry, and it might be a problem in Cubelock, especially with Skull of the Man'ari: trying to get it to work without impairing your summons might be too clunky, especially in later turns.
They can hotfix adding a dust rehash for those that disenchanted, not that hard to fix the abuse.
Also, how do they determine if it was abuse or unintentional part of seasonal clearence over HoF and Wild cards? They can't really punish here, and if they can, it's faster and fairer to simply apply the rehash.
I am not going to DE, it's just 120 dust indeed (against a personal deposit of 16k), I can live without that...
Oh man the Night Elves music from WC3 in the campaign page! The feels!

Ironbeak Owl will definitely stand against a strong DR meta.
The birb is still good enough against very strong and/or recurring DR targets.
Yet obviously Teron is a great card. You don't even need particular synergy to gain Tempo from him.
This is also what Spellbreaker does (except 3 damage ofc).

Lovely flavorful card.
I hope I can build a full-blown Evolve Serpentshrine Cavern deck.
Now I wonder what corresponds to old rank 5 in terms of effort/reward ratio...
Is it possibly diamond 10?
I also hope the grind won't take longer overall.
Exactly where I want to try the card.
Much needed in Aggro DH, and probably Midrange too.
Here we go!
Well, at the end of the day, I am pretty excited about DH and many new legendaries.
In particular, I'm in love with the Zangarmarsh theme that entirely covers Shaman and Druid, so perfectly packed!
And with the new rarity protection, I may actually spend some more time with Standard decks.

I wish Genn Greymane had: [...] your hero power costs (1) less.
Just for the sake of viability.
Glacial Shard for comparison.
Shard was better as a tech card, but Weaver is much better with Tempo, as her body cannot be easily pinged away.
But it will go below radars, with players preferring synergy cards in their decks.
Yet I believe the card will be heavily underestimated: you need quite some synergy to justify another card instead of Weaver, at least in Tempo decks.
This card could revive Odd Rogue in Wild. Maybe.

3 Wishes, 3 Legendary cards you hope to drop in the next packs.
Here are mines:
PS: i am going to instacraft Maiev Shadowsong, the card's just Rogue levels of Tempo AND Neutral.
Do we have the full arts of new cards in this patch?
Can't wait for that juicy HoF dust to flow in my deposit.
(And dust those golden Shadowform that make me feel dirty)
Do we also have full arts?
The more Aggro the DH goes, the less resilient their board is: if you can turn initiative on your side, they will have a hard time at recovering.
If they go for Tempo, you should still be able to Control them.
I am not sure they can effectively go for Midrange with the current cards.
PS: by Midrange I mean a deck with huge Tempo swings in later turns, eg. Galakrond Rogue.
If you think of it, Apexis Blast is a good payback for Tempo, but Font of Power? It's just extra steam.
Incanter's Flow is maximized in a Pure Mage, but you can still have synergy without the restriction.
So, unless they add more payback, a traditional Spell Mage with few key key minions is going to be better.
