The card's kinda decent I guess? it's like a glorified Whirlwind. If token decks are popular, I think this card will see play. The shadow tag does help though.
The card itself seems interesting, doubles all handbuffs that it takes. One Alliance Bannerman turns this into a 3 mana 4/4 with rush which is good and anything beyond that is amazing.
Vanndar and Drek'thar remind me of Baku and Genn. The way it makes me think whenever a minion costs more or less than 4, I immediately think of either Vanndar or Drek'thar, just like how I would immediately think of Baku on odd cost cards or Genn on even cost cards.
I think you probably would still put this in a Vanndar Stormpike decks though. Being able to tutor Lightning Bloom for later is nice. It requires some serious deckbuilding skills to make the deck work that's for sure.
I can't believe they actually make the decision hard. On one hand, Drek'Thar is straight-up a better Call to Arms, but there are ways to break Vanndar Stormpike too like drawing it with Call to Adventure. I'm having more trouble about this than choosing a fucking major.
To answer your question, I'm on HSReplay, Vicious Syndicate, Tempo Storm and numerous other competitive hearthstone analysis content provider. They all say the same thing, quest mage is not that good of a deck.
Judging from your recent comments, you seem to have a throbbing hate boner towards that deck. I can't blame you though, it does suck to play against.
From a competitive perspective, the Quest mage nerf is bad because the deck's not even that good right now.
From a gameplay environment perspective, the Quest mage nerf is good because the deck is miserable to play against whether or not it's strong, and this nerf puts the nail straight to the coffin.
Mr. Smite is a great standard card. I don't think it will see play in pirate warrior though. You would rather spend your turn 6 playing a 1 mana pirate and Rokara instead. There's a reason why the deck doesn't even play Leeroy. Interesting interaction with Captain Hooktusk though.
Edwin, Defias Kingpin is a perfect example of the kind of cards that I like. Cards that doesn't seem powerful unless you dig deep to find their true potential. I know I'm gonna spend the rest of the week toying with this card.
Goliath, Sneed's Masterpiece salivates all of the custom card creators because now you can have a card target multiple things.
I initially thought Cookie the Cook's effect was a battlecry and I thought it was decent. But it's a deathrattle instead so it's less good but it's still fine.
There's a lot of weapon tutor in rogue with Cavern Shinyfinder and Raiding Party to trade this card repeatedly, but that's probably very unreasonable. This is a 1 mana 2/2 weapon though so it's still pretty good consideration in aggro decks.
Not sure if this card will make Galakrond Shaman powerful enough to come back, but it's definitely an insane upgrade. Being able to repeat Galakrond, the Tempest, Primal Dungeoneer, or even just Golakka Crawler is a very powerful effect.
Probably would be snorting too much ignorance bliss dust by saying this but hopefully mercenaries won't be as bad as everyone thought it would be because Blizzard's take on the gacha heroes genre is honestly quite interesting.
I guess my hot take is now the popular opinion huh? The possibility of The Demon Seed getting banned in Wild is finally up in the air. If that's the case, it would definitely be a good change. Would've preferred for them to not take a month and 3 weeks to do it though.
Aside from that, kind of scared if they would buff some warrior pirates because of its consequence to Wild, but It's necessary for standard.

The video is fucking amazing

Capture Coldtooth Mine:
2 Mana
Choose One - Draw Vanndar Stormpike; or draw Drek'Thar.
Edit: Aww shit, it's not specific to minions. Might still be doable, but a lot harder.
This is literally "If Defile was so good, why is there no Defile 2?".
Yeah, it's 9 mana. But playing this on turn 6 with Vanndar Stormpike is insane, but that means you have to draw Vanndar first.

Jayce is a flexible 4 mana champion that levels up into a value generator that also supports Lux's gameplay.
I'm now gay for Jayce.

Out of all champions in league, I never knew that I want a Ziggs rhythm game the most.
Looks like the next expansion got DEADTAMINED.
I deserve to go to hell for that.

"Alright deck intro time"
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel like they've used that distinction before in a card. That or I'm very sleepy.
