Moved to Off-Topic, probably should have been here long time ago :p
What? Off-Topic? Why? You are getting a lot of feedback for this amazing and wonderful new forum because all of this, moving this thread to the Off-Topic section doesn't make any sense to me... Could you explain your decision, please? I'm not going to tell you what to do, especially because you are a mod, but I would appreciate a nice explanation here. :) :) :)
We were getting some feedback at first, but it eventually took a turn, surprise surprise. Now you can continue in Off-Topic ;-)
I dont know what game are you playing, but it must not be the same one i am. New quest decks popping up everywhere. Highlander decks too. Sure, there are still some Bomb Warriors, but there are a lot of new decks too.
If you say everything stayed the same, then i dont know what to tell you. Maybe you do need to take a break for a longer period of time and comeback when new Standard rotation happens or dunno.
It work fairly well, if you dont get screwed with the random cards too much :) Also it is important to keep Tess Greymane in mind when selecting cards via discover. That can help in a really huge way. For example, i could choose Hex or Execute, i thought about it and chose Execute. Later on i killed three huge taunts with Tess (among other things) thanks to the Execute when i repeatedly bounced her back. Had i chosen Hex, that would be a very different story.
I did, but i felt like i would be trying too hard to fit everything in the deck. I have only two Lackey generators and they mostly server to keep you goin and have something to play, feed edwin etc. I didnt want to have to keep the Lackey(s) until i get Togwaggle. That being said, i am not opposed to trying him out. Would probably swap one Cat or Pilfer for him.
That is actually a very bad target for it. Majority of Reborn minions are Neutral minions. You dont get class minions very often. But the Cat alone is a solid add, fills the curve and gives you extra bodies to throw on the board. That being said, it is in no way crucial to the deck, so feel free to replace it, if you want :)
Yeah, iv seen a few ppl report this already. This is most likely something that was overlooked and broke with the recent patch. More things broke, so obviously they were super prepared haha :)
I dont think this image was intended at all and once enough ppl report it, they will probably fix it.
Btw fixed the picture for you. You need to use direct link to the picture (ends with .jpg, .png, .bmp etc)
Tomorrow is a launch day for Saviors of Uldum, which means another arena rotation will happen. Leave your arena run unfinished at maximum of two losses to get the rewards for current number of wins plus a Free Arena Ticket as a compensation for your retired run.
Dont leave this for last second tho, ideally start your run several hours before the launch (August 6, 1pm ET, 7pm CEST), since prior to launch, arena entries are disabled.
Play out your run to x-2, if you want more rewards from your run, or just leave it at 0-0 if you dont want to spend time playing it out.
Now, due to a mess up on August 1, where arena rotation kinda happened, only SoU wasnt included yet and some ppl got their runs retired (and got the ticket - i did) and some ppl didnt, it is a bit unclear, if we would get a ticket again. But as always, Blizzard cant really afford to retire runs and give no compensation, so i believe you are safe to do this "trick" regardless.
New arena rotation will include following sets:
Basic
Classic
League of Explorers
Journey to Un'Goro
Kobolds & Catacombs
Rastakhan's Rumble
Saviors of Uldum
Friendly Neighborhood Gladiator: if you plan on leaving the arena at 0-0, might as well play two games and concede to two players getting some positive karma :) You will get the same rewards for 0-0 and 0-2.
Is there any possible strategy to maximise the profit? Is a 2-2 run better to be saved for the reset then a 7-2 for example? Both have Pros and cons...
Probably not worth the thought but how do you approach it?
I tried to mathematicly solve this but it‘s more complexe then i thought. Guessed winrate, average profit per win and stuff
The most important factor is time investment. Everything else is secondary.
Then it kinda depends on how well you do in arena on average, if you are casual player and average 3 wins, staying at 2-2 is probably a good bet, since you dont want to end up 2-3 and having to pay for another run ... unless you would play that next run anyway.
If you average higher and you know the deck you have is pretty decent but you just had some bad luck, iv had many 12-2 that started as 0-2s or 2-2s for example, so then it might be worth playing it out a bit more.
We shall see, at the very least, highlander decks can potentially become huge next year when BDP rotates out :) I know that is not what players want to hear right now, but having these cards open up possibilities in the future.
There should be another arena reset despite the recent fuck up, since they will add Saviors of Uldum to the mix. Rotation happened August 1, but without SoU, so there should be another reset. It is a bit of a mystery due to the fuck up, but i believe there will be a proper reset tomorrow.
So yes, start your arena run and either leave it be or play it until 2 losses to maximize your rewards. When the reset happens, your arena run will be retired and you will receive rewards for the current number of wins you got, plus an Arena Ticket to redeem as a free entry to play another arena run.
So why we do this, you pay 150g > you get a free ticket (so you get your 150g back) > your net worth is the rewards from the retired run, which is a pack plus some gold/dust.
Reborn minion is a fresh copy with 1 Health remaining, so it will reset any buff / debuffs the original had. If you have Crystal Core active, it will probably come back as a 4/4.
And yes, SoJ or Amet should affect reborn minions, pretty much everything that interacts with summoning minions, not just playing them.
I guess the only question is how will Crystal Core affect the outcomes. If the minion's stats are first changed to 4/4 and then the "debuff" to lower the health is applied, or if it is the other way around, or if first a minion is summoned, then buffed with SoJ and then changed to 4/4 stats (dont think this will be the case, but who knows).

Thats great! :) Iv been playing it myself today a bit and i had some fun games, most of which i even won :)))
We plan to, once both features are more furnished :)
Eww, thats creepy. Now i cannot unsee it :D

Probably Warrior and Warlock for me, since none of the decks that would include them interest me.
No trouble at all ;-)
