MurlocAggroB It's weird for a "fiend" to be a Beast and not a Demon, but I digress.
Warp Stalkers are beasts.
EDIT: What would you suggest for improvements? Should I bump it up to 7/7, or even 8/8? I also don't largely care about mana effects, because if we design every card around them we'd never design any interesting cards with downsides.
I know about Warp Stalkers; you just happened to call it a "fiend" instead, so it confused me.
...I don't know how you would improve on the card, at least to the point where I would like it. That's not to say your card is bad; I just don't like cards with such big downsides.
@economicaooc I'm not a fan of Chain Lightning because it's just a smaller Meteor.
@DecentOfDragonsOp Forked Sword is unique, so maybe go with that one. Blast Shield seems ridiculous, even for 8-mana.
@LarryMoments Hardened Defender was kind of what I was going for with my first idea; I just fucked it up lol. It's a little plain, but I like it the most.
@Cocoduf You wouldn't really "shuffle" something to the top of your deck, as you know where it is. Also, where is this minion coming from? Are you targeting an enemy like Entomb, or is it coming from within your deck?
@Demonxz95 I really like it, although it might be a bit pushed. Still, I would totally play the card.
@Hordaki That seems pretty obnoxious to get through, if you include Mindless Mummy in a deck that goes wide with its board. Still, the flavor is there and it seems alright balance-wise.
@Fedrion Demon is right - because Hearthstone lacks the ability to look through your deck to locate and draw cards (aka "Scry"), you're just as likely to help the opponent as you are to hurt them. There's no way to know.
@thepowrofcheese Makes me think of Avarosan Trapper from Runeterra, but in a good way. I like it.
@h0lysatan I personally don't like such cards, but I know there are some out there that would love such a combo-disruptor.
MurlocAggroB It's weird for a "fiend" to be a Beast and not a Demon, but I digress. Maybe I'm not creative enough to see the potential, but I personally don't see why you would bother with this "mini-game" for any major length of time. It's a lot of work for a minimal gain (and potentially a HUGE loss). Evolve/Devolve/Conjurer's Calling into the Warp Fiend would be very tragic.
Thought of something else: the return of Handbuff Paladin!
Divine Shield and Rush are a potent combination, so only the right half of your hand gets to benefit from the Battlecry...because they too are the right hand(s) of justice! Edit: If you don't like the multi-minion handbuff version, I also made a "right-most" singular version.
My first idea for the comp. It's trying to imply that the minions are inside the Watchtower.
Not sure how balanced or exciting it is. Edit: Didn't think about how you could put two of them next to each other and essentially make them permanent. Crap.
Unfortunately for me, anchorm4n's assessment of my card - being "the card to beat" this week - proved false, as I am not among the finalists. Guess it wasn't exciting enough for people :(
Oh crap! Yeah, "costs 5 or less" it's a necessity, I totally forgot about Sul'thraze, and that could be a trouble too.
The final card would be:
Any warrior deck could play it this way, without being a Dr. Boom MG staple like card.
You have a new problem, one I foresaw as I watched the conversation unfold: your card has become too complicated. No card in Hearthstone goes beyond four lines of text, and yours has an "orphan" word/number on line 5. I fear this card is just too much trouble, in trying to avoid the problem cases while also remaining interesting + unique.
Thank you everyone for your feedback regarding Summon/Call Weapon. Let me reciprocate:
Show Spoiler
Hordaki - I like it. Pretty straight-forward, and reined in by the 1-Attack. Keeps it from killing anything besides Lackeys (in the mirror, obviously lol).
shaveyou - I think the Faceless card is more interesting, although adding two copies seems very powerful. With the vanilla stats, I think you might need to reduce it to a single copy (or the reverse: reduce its stats). Wish you used a non-Classic watermark.
Dermostatic - Big spells for free - such as Eureka! or Eye of the Storm - is a scary thought. The other option is that you can spam board clears you've accumulated, knowing that you will only lose the Murloc in the process.
thepowrofcheese - I like Copycat: it seems flavorful and balanced. Could use a different watermark, though.
LarryMoments - My first thought when I saw the Squire was handbuff, although they've all left Standard by now. Magnetize works, of course, but there's a lot more set-up and luck of the draw involved in such a combo. All-in-all I think the idea is a bit on the difficult side, but could still see it working out in an enjoyable way.
Demonxz95 - Not a fan of the mirror-effect, being able to summon copies of enemy minions that were healed. Not sure if it's intentional or not, but it seems weird to me.

Linkblade: A summon usually refers to some sort of sentient being, so "Summon Weapon" is a bit weird of a name, although it isn't technically incorrect grammatically.
I had a conversation about this with my dad, and while "summon" is technically fine as you noted, the "proper" Dungeons & Dragons terminology would be to say that I'm "calling" the weapon to me. That's what Thor does when his weapon returns to him. So I renamed it:
As for the issue of its viability in Standard...that's why I slapped a custom watermark on it :P Pretend it came in a set with an expensive, cool weapon to use. I also thought about putting it in Kobolds & Catacombs, and might still do that.
Might be too boring, but it's what I first thought of:
For the cost of a Truesilver Champion, you can pull a copy of one directly from your deck and summon it into your hands, Thor-style. Works even better if you pull an expensive weapon (Vinecleaver, Silver Sword, Val'anyr, etc.). I gave it to the Paladin because they seem the most likely to have a "conjure a weapon from out of nowhere" ability. Their weapons are also fairly reined in, as well, so there will be no 4-mana Gorehowl to the face.
I would really like to have a music themed competition where you would have to make a card based off of a song.
Or you could do some other kind of pop-culture type thing where you make a card based off of a movie/book. Or maybe even another game. But I think I would enjoy music the best.
Pop-culture competitions are notoriously difficult to manage, because not everyone has experienced the same things. What if you make a card referencing a book no one else has read, or reference a "classic" movie that not everyone remembers? It's doubly difficult because our website is not relegated to a particular nation. Someone who visits Out of Cards from the United States might have read/heard/watched different things than someone from Norway, England, France, Japan, or wherever.
We had similar prompts in the past at HearthPwn, and they were a bit of a mess :(
There is nothing in Piltover & Zaun that I want, so I completely skipped it. Will probably work on Ionia next; I want to pick the Freljord, but I crafted most of what I wanted out of there so it's not necessary.
Forsaken Harbinger - 5 stars - I love this card, and is my pick for whom I want to win this competition. Priest really needed Lackey support, and I don't see why they barely got any.
I also want Forsaken Harbinger to win. It's a great card, and I think whomever made the card is very smart and wise and handsome.
*awkward cough*
If I had to knock my card at all, it's that I didn't call it "EVIL Harbinger": it probably should have been called "EVIL (something)", to match the other cards. I didn't think about it until after I submitted. All well. Edit: That being said, Sludge Slurper exists and does not have EVIL in its name.

Considering you won, I guess it didn't matter to enough people in the end lol. Congratulations :)
Good luck to our finalists :)

Fair to say.

I smell something fishy; I want to speak to the manager! :P

Mobile updates take additional time before they release; you'll hopefully see one in a few hours...or at least by tomorrow.
Shadows Isles -> 18
P&Z -> 0
Everything else -> 8

"Dragons? Dragons!"
I transplanted a Hunter Epic card I created into a Treasure for Monster Hunt. Not sure if it's "OP enough" to be a Treasure:
Congratulations to Shivershine; the results were really close! The next theme is ready to go!
I'll try not to be salty as the first loser second place finisher.

50 minutes left! If you haven't already, you should consider submitting your card soon!
