It's cheaper than Ragnaros the Firelord, can split its damage in a way that could kill a bunch of weakened units, and it can still attack normally. Yeah, this is a good card.
I love this card; 10/10. The only thing holding it back is the lack of tribal synergy, but honestly that would be too powerful. It's way better than Firelands Portal, that's for sure: for 1 more mana you get +4 damage to a minion, the possibility that the initial minion could live to attack again, and the end result is a 5/9 Taunt (better than any normal 5-drop). The only advantage FP has is that it can go face; an important distinction, but not enough to make me rate it over Coilfang Warlord.
I echo the comments about Fool's Bane, and I'll echo the stipulation that the DH really needs some more healing to properly utilize a card like this. That being said, I still think it's a good card. It should at least see play early on, when everyone is running aggro DHs: you'll want something to mop up the enemy board before it out-races your own heh.
This card needs help, in-that it needs more enticing targets to pull from one's deck to justify playing it. The ones we have might not be enough. However, we have plenty of time to introduce new Demons into the mix so I'm hopeful.
Metamorphosis is a cool card, and a good way of implementing a stronger Hero Power that's reined in by limited uses. I hope to see this mechanic again in the future.
If a mod can edit my entries description to display the actual frostmourne card, I'd greatly appreciate it.
I'll look into it.
Edit: It should be fixed, although I was not capable of doing so myself. Just...don't make it a habit of this :P In the future, you can use a card's specific ID to get the desired version of it; in this case, 5746 should give the correct Frostmourne.
Hey, I'm trying to submit a hero card with a weapon and a hero power. I can't seem to add more than 1 extra card? Should I combine the Hero Power and Weapon tokens into the same image or something?
Yeah we have it set up where you can only include one additional token for this prompt, as a "trial run" for allowing tokens. We'd prefer you not combine the Hero Power and Weapon into the same image, even though that really sucks for your idea :(
Here's a second theorycraft of mine, making it a Highlander deck so I can fit everything I want inside. It does not have the Librams outside of Libram of Wisdom, and it is not a Pure Paladin deck.
Unfortunately(?), I do not own The Voraxx, and I do not plan to craft the card. There are much higher priorities for my dust beyond a card that's only good in this one, less-than-stellar deck. Good idea, though.
@On the subject of going Highlander:
I honestly thought of that too! There are so many cards I want to play in this deck that it becomes hard to decide on which to include (hence this thread). Going Highlander would alleviate that feeling somewhat, so I'll probably make a second version of the deck and try it out.
Sound the Bells! was a casualty of war: it was in there when the deck was 40 cards large, but I needed to trim something and it got the ax. I definitely think it can be reintroduced. I do have one concern, though, because I'm wondering if Lady Liadrin will refill my hand with copies of Sound the Bells! from the Echo effect. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it does get in the way of the other, better buff spells I want to reacquire.
@On the subject of including the non-buff Librams:
They're the new hotness, so I want to try the package. That's it, really lol. I'll probably remove them after I discover the cards aren't working.
Thank you all for the previous feedback. After listening to the feedback, and running into an issue of having too many lines of text. The card has changed a lot. I have narrowed my options down to these 2:
I prefer the 2-mana version. Outcast feels tacked on, at least to me, and bumping it to 3-mana makes it much harder to combo the effect with removal, your Hero Power, and/or a weapon.
As the title suggests, the introduction of Lady Liadrin and the Librams has me curious as-to whether or not I can make The Last Kaleidosaur a fun deck. I don't care if it's Tier 1, but I would like to win a game or two. I'm always second-guessing my ability to put a deck together :(
Any feedback you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Some questions I have:
- The deck is like 99% Paladin cards, so I went ahead and made it 100% with Lightforged Crusader. Is this a good idea?
- What's the desired ratio between minions and the buff spells? The bare minimum is 6 buffs, unless you count Libram of Wisdom's ability to copy itself, but that seems like too little.
- Are these the most desirable minions to buff? I don't have to stick with being "Pure"; it just seemed like a convenient outcome at the time. I thought about including Murgur Murgurgle as another reload + buff opportunity, but I don't know what to drop for him (if anything).
Xavius has taken the place of Illidan Stormrage (the card); if you owned Illidan you own Xavius now. The change is mostly in name and art only, although the Flame of Azzinoth tokens have been replaced with Demon satyrs.
Yes but it is not in my collection and I did own Illidan and Illidan is not in my collection either so it must be trapped behind some weird code or being used in the prologue
Strange, I can type "Xavius" into my Collection search bar and find him immediately.

Hard-counters Fire Plume's Heart lol...but I guess I'm the only one running that deck nowadays.

Submissions are now closed; good luck everyone and good luck to our future finalists come tomorrow :)
I'll look into it.

If Clever Disguise (or any thief card) attempts to give you a DH card, you end up with nothing.
The Demon Hunter will not be available for Dungeon Run, or Rumble Run. Only "regular" Adventure fights where you get to create your own deck.
The DH will not be an option against The Lich King. Like, at all.

Here's what I've come up with so far:

Are you referring to Shadow of Death?
It could be that Clever Disguise attempted to acquire Demon Hunter cards, but since they're not allowed the game crapped out on you.
