Interesting to see how that works with divine shield synergy and enrage and more.
It's been confirmed that Divine Shield, Frenzy, Deathrattles, etc.; all of them are ignored, because the minion hasn't been played yet to "turn them on", as it were.
If you can line this up it can kill off a couple minions and maybe hit face a bit too. Of course, it's just a Fireball on an empty board; I would have considered making it cost 3, like a Cinderstorm for the modern age. It's not even a Fel spell for those synergies.
'Bout damn time they come up with something like this. That said, hopefully "Outcast gains consistency" doesn't overpower the mechanic too far. Not expecting it to; just something to think about down the line.
Also: it's blatantly Bob, Ashe's omnic butler from Overwatch.
I've been in that situation multiple times over the past year, starting games I don't finish despite having a great time with them. Sea of Stars, Hi-Fi Rush, Baldur's Gate III, to name but a few...
Heroes of the Storm may also be on the menu, which would be awesome. I think that game had so much potential, before they gave up on it. The more we speculate the more I hope, which is a recipe for disaster but you never know :D
If played on turn-1, it gives you something to do next turn while also developing a body immediately. Is it worth running just to hope that you get it in your mulligan? Certainly not.
I wonder if this exists just to dilute the Nature pool of better choices.
It's interesting to note how different her Black Arrow talent is from her Warcraft III version of the same skill, which is an auto-cast damage bonus ability that summons skeleton minions when the target dies under its effect. Where are the skeletons, Rumble?!
It's been a long while so I may be misremembering, but isn't it more in line with the Heroes of the Storm version of Black Arrow? IIRC that was one of her Ultimate skills. As it stands, summoning more skellies for free would probably be broken, given the back-and-forth nature of the units fighting each other.
...not that I have experience with Warcraft Rumble; just going off what I've seen lol
"Renathal is an experiment, to see if they should raise everyone to 40!" - Some people when Nathria dropped. Then it was nerfed, and we never heard from them again lol.
For what it's worth, my absolute favorite Hearthstone games are slugfests. I want to play the ultimate duel, where both players are going back-and-forth on the board and their life totals are rubber-banding as they give everything they got. Fatigue, value wars, lethals out of nowhere; whatever it takes to get the win.
If I have the time to play one, obviously...which is the crux of the issue. People need to be able to get through a match on the bus or whatever, and thus Blizzard tends to cater to the "I won before we ever got close to 10 Mana" crowd. I get it (though if you truly want fast games, go play Marvel Snap lol).
Playing League of Legends with my IRL friends helped save me from depression, but Heroes of the Storm was still probably the better game for me, in my opinion. With team-XP it wasn't as dependent on individual success, and the variety of the maps and whatnot made the game feel fresher longer. Couldn't get them into it, though, and I don't like to play these games "alone", so it was eventually uninstalled. It would be neat to see a resurgence of the game; maybe we can get the OOG team to group up! hehe
I have to assume based on the wording that you cannot skip a single turn playing an Elemental if you want Skarr's effect to remain relevant. Some have wondered "will it just pause the scaling?", and it sure doesn't read that way. And then they show a 9-drop Elemental at the same time; how does that help? You need a bunch of cheaper stuff to make sure you can always squeeze one in.
Maybe Synthesize would be better as a Shaman card.

"Get a random Titan"? That's not even remotely creative, plus we're referencing the previous set for some reason. Disappointing.
You don't have to run any other dragons with this - you could throw Rheastrasza and Topior the Shrubbagazzor into a more general "all da good cards" Highlander deck with Take to the Skies and still benefit.
Go go Taunt Dragon Druid? Seems a little on the honest/non-pushed side, but that's probably a good thing. I'll play it anyway!

True...I somehow forgot about the main reason you pick Sylvanas lol

Do you want a tooltip, or deck slots? There's only so much space in the files to go around!

Blatant power-creep on the 0/1 Frog of yesteryear. When will Blizzard learn?!
Hopefully I'm wrong, but that just seems like a generous interpretation of the text.

I have only played one* of these games, so it goes to show just how diverse our "Must Play" articles can be! :D
*Does "struggle through the tutorial area before being overwhelmed by choices and bailing" count? Then I've played DOS2.
Is it, though? Draining your gold reserves before a new expansion seems fairly devious.
