and a pretty good card too! The pool of undead in Standard is pretty wide, but not so huge that this will lack consistency.
I feel consistency is exactly what is lacking with Farm Hand. There are a ton of bad Undead, and Death Knight doesn't have a lot of ways to guarantee the Quickdraw beyond "hope you don't draw it at the wrong time". A chain could work, with something like Necrotic Mortician into Farm Hand, but you're not running it in the deck itself in that instance: you're just fishing for an answer.
Is it a terrible card? No. Is it simply 'okay'? Yes, which in modern Hearthstone is not really what you're looking for.
Despite my love for Quest decks, it occurs to me now that I barely touched the Questlines by comparison. They didn't seem to be directed toward the playstyles I prefer, or those that interested me just weren't good enough to justify playing them.
I do worry about Quickdraw's fate without anything like a Scry mechanic or any other method that naturally helps make Quickdraw easier to utilize
Dredge will be a natural fit, but I suppose the concern there is that they come from different Years; i.e: there will be a time when they're not both available in Standard. Relatively soon, in fact.
Really? That's pretty unfortunate :( I've always been drawn to boss fights, in part because they tend to have the most exceptional music. My YouTube favorites playlist is filled with music from various series; listening to it helps me channel the experience again. Some of the feelings might have been frustration at the time, but damn it if it doesn't feel good to overcome them :) The Mantis Lords in Hollow Knight were a particularly strong "this is so fucking cool" moment, in my opinion, even if it did result in several deaths lol
Having thoroughly-enjoyed Elden Ring, Dark Souls is one of those "maybe I'll have to go back and play the rest" series that comes to mind, like the earlier Witcher games as I alluded to in my comment with anchorm4n. However, I can't seem to finish most games lately for whatever (dumb) reason, and I have a backlog of stuff that's waiting in the wings. Thus, a "maybe" game seems so far down the list that it might as well never happen, you know what I mean? Kinda sucks, but it is what it is.
Another nice thing about HK and Patapon is that they're on the cheaper side, too, so it's not too much trouble to give them a try :) Hollow Knight's only $15; with the incredible experience it delivers, I would easily have paid more than that! Be sure to let me know what you think of them!
Sucks to hear you couldn't devote enough time to Ghost of Tsushima - maybe this is a call-to-action, the universe telling you to pick it back up again hehe
Haven't played Stray so I can't comment on that, but Zelda is my username-sake, while Portal and The Witcher 3 are amazing games as well. My aunt bought me Wild Hunt for the Switch on a whim - I had never experienced The Witcher before that (in any medium) - but I was engrossed from the jump. Honestly considered including it in the article.
Already done with the event - for whatever reason, they didn't make the quests once-per-day like normal. As soon as you finish one in a chain, the next appears. So, do the first "play a traditional game of Hearthstone", then plow through the quests for Battlegrounds and you're golden - you can work on both simultaneously for a lot of them.
Skipped September for some reason: probably because I was completely stressed out of my mind so remembering to post about this escaped out the back door lol.
Like I said back in August, I've still been all over the damn place when it comes to partially-completing games. Add Sea of Stars, Relic Hunters Legend, and (sadly) Baldur's Gate III to the list of stuff that has been started but not finished. I might need some ADHD medication - or my life stressors to stabilize at the very least - so I can find the motivation or whatever to play a game from start to finish.
Currently, I am back to playing Hearthstone (sigh), as well as a second playthrough of Elden Ring; this time with a keyboard + mouse on Steam. Blocking feels easier on KBM, so I'm gonna give shields a fair shake - I quickly dropped them on the PS5 and resigned myself to dodging everything. It's been an easier experience so far, although some of that could be explained away via the knowledge already gained from playing through it the first time.
Of course, whether or not I finish this Elden Ring playthrough is another question, with Marvel's Spider-Man 2 coming on the 20th! Super excited to play that, so everything else might end up on the backburner yet-again.
What're you playing currently? Anything new you look forward to playing this month?
Half of the Animal Crossing set seems to be in the awning and roofing tiles lmao
...also yeah, I totally believe the price: I loved LEGO when I was younger, but it has been hella expensive seemingly forever. I'm just gonna hold onto my pieces and give them to my kid, if they ever become a thing :D

It should proc them, yes. Gaining the Health straight-up rather than healing guarantees it'll work, too, even if you're full.
Depends on if you use something like Crop Rotation to mass-produce corpses/dead minions, as seen in the video.

Someone will experiment with Elwynn Boar, I'm sure haha
Don't know if Pip the Potent is...potent enough, but the Bottle spells are a really cool design.
Creep on the all-powerful Duskboar.
I'd rather bounce something, like, Astalor Bloodsworn, but if it somehow gets Vicious Bloodworm to see play, then that's a win I guess haha
Trapdoor Spider + The Jailer (whenever he returns) = The Meme Dream
Good? Doubtful. Funny? Yep!
Really nice card. Anything that can tutor specific spells will make this especially good.
I will be playing the Deputy with Steam Guardian and Blackrock 'n' Roll as my only spell lol!
Dryscale Deputy -> Steam Guardian -> Blackrock 'n' Roll -> BNR again is a potential curve play. If you aren't immediately ran over, the sheer stats will lead to fun times :D
You must've accidentally hit the Align Right button hehe
