Connects better to what his great-nephew Guff Runetotem is looking to achieve. Collect a bunch of free Nature spells, then drop Guff and go to town buffing all the minions the Quest had you summon. Also works with Deviate Dreadfang.
I chose the OG route of being rewarded an actual card, instead of a Hero Power. It's ultimately a cheaper, better Silver Sword in a class that wants it more. Edit: The Horn could maybe stand to be more original. I'm happy with the Quest part.
Everyone's requesting other characters from other games, but I want to see how you'd introduce another League champ into LoR, specifically Talon from Noxus. The reason I specifically mention him is that I have no clue how you'd translate him from League to LoR while still keeping the idea of the champion the same. I suppose some fugdging of the champion's identity is required to represent him in a card form, like how Darius, Renekton and Irelia are quite poor representations of the corresponding champions.
Here's what I have for Talon; I apologize for how slow I've been getting this stuff out:
You've got his Passive with the bleeding, Rake is his W, and his E and R are indirectly incorporated into his level 2 form via the Elusive he gains. I wavered on a couple things, namely the level up requirement, how much Health he should have, and whether or not to give him Quick Attack:
The requirement was originally "kill an enemy champion", which I think is cool, but could be quite difficult depending on the matchup. His level up is still difficult, though, so maybe it should be relaxed somehow.
His Health is low because he gains Elusive, and I want him to be a "backline champion that becomes an attacking champion", like Azir does.
I decided against QA because he gains Elusive, which is arguably more powerful, and I didn't want him to be too overloaded.

Maybe Out of Cards should try doing something like that once a year, or once competition season, etc. to give people room to play with bigger concepts that require multi-card support.
Or maybe there's room for something smaller in scope that would satisfy this - something like a "Build a custom class package" competition where you'd design something like six cards to support some new archetype. Then we can all see if we can come up with anything better than Freeze Shaman lol.
"Big comps", like full expansions and/or new classes, are on the horizon. They require a lot more groundwork to implement, but it has always been on the to-do list.
I like the idea of building a smaller archetype package, though: that could be a fun one.
Can you imagine warrior without classic spells like Brawl? This card need a lot of good fire spells to see play.
I would argue the first part is a lack of imagination, frankly, but yes: the Warrior would need some solid Fire spells for Grimlo to work out. That's the hypothetical I'm proposing. I wanted to create a card that bucks against the established class/school combinations, and see how well that did.
Demonxz95 - Said my piece in Discord, but reducing the Cost reduction to 2 might be a good idea. Plus then it's 2s all around; better for memes!
BasilAnguis - The Echo is out of place, as the others have noted. Either it's a Witchwood card and cannot be related to schools, or it's FitB-or-later and cannot have Echo. I like anchor's idea about straight Cost-reduction.
Neoguli - Unfortunately, this will not count for the prompt.
Elfensilver - This reads like a Mage card, as they like the randomly-split damage effects. I like the Druid+Arcane combination, though: there's got to be something there that can be distinctly Druid.
anchorm4n - Acolyte of Frost seems like the most interesting of the bunch. Medivh is too much and the Reaper is just-another Shadow Priest clear card, of which there are many.
R - Definitely go with Combat Dominie; I think that's a potential winner. Only issue could be the recent backlash/nerfs with the Paladin: some people might see this card and its potential with Hand of A'dal and get scared.
Lundy - The first iteration of Zro is the better one, in my opinion. Shiva's Guard is not fully clear, as you noted, and there are only so many ways for the Mage to gain Armor.
Wailor - I like Shai the most: gives you a solid game-plan (blast the enemy while you clear with the Shadow spells), and encourages fun deck-building. Icecaller is fine but might be too annoying, having more Frost Novas, on a body, that you can play twice.
For my champ proposals, dimentio from super paper Mario or shovel knight from shovel knight would be nice, or if you aren’t familiar with either of those it’d be cool to see a champ that synergizes with shuffling cards into your deck
Sorry I only just got around to adding the Lore Entry to Shovel Knight, but it's finally done :) Been a busy, draining week
Warlock minion - "Start of Game: If all spells in your deck are Holy, draw them." It's just Renounce Darkness, so now you can play one on turn-2 every time lol
I'm wondering how much I can get away with a School+class combination that doesn't exist. Like a Warrior card that says "If all spells in your deck are Fire". If I put it in a custom expansion, can people imagine the rest? Probably not :(
If you want Cenarius to be more powerful, I can do that lol:
No longer benefits minions like Shrubadier, but in exchange it benefits ALL spells. How's this?

Demonxz95 - Unfortunate that the two newest Hunter weapons cost 4; guess it would depend on when the Ranger General came out. I think it's okay, but it has *zero* connection with the Classic/banshee Sylvanas beyond the "skin". Some people might frown on that.
DestroyerR - Won't be "perfectly timed" if you draw extra cards before turn 5 lol :P Still, it's an amusing card and ensures you have a solid turn-5 play right when you need it.
anchorm4n - Not my pretty Totems Taunts! I think the Pitch-Black Knight is pretty OP, as it can lay waste to many a Control player's game-plan if not obliterate archetypes outright. Indiana Ford can do the same to decks that rely heavily on certain weapons, like Kingsbane or Wrenchcalibur, although that is at least more niche than "all Taunt minions". There's nothing wrong with hate-cards, per se, but these are HATE cards lol.
R - Seems fine. I would name him something better, though, and switch to a different watermark (that's GvG, isn't it? The "Prince" effect didn't exist back then).
Longshadow - Losing 2-mana cards from your deck is a heavy price to pay, which is why Prince Keleseth had to be great to succeed. Loreseeker Cho isn't worth that, in my opinion. I also believe Professor Jones is too similar to the OG Rafaam: it's just smaller versions of his spells. Make the Artifacts more unique and I think you've got something here.
Wailor - That looks super good. "I'm doin' fine and don't need these Secrets anymore; might as well end the game!" IIRC the Mage barely loses anything from the 5-mana slot, as well (Cloud Prince being the main one), so the condition seems easy for that kind of power.
Don't know if she'll be good at all, but the video makes Rek'Sai look fun at least. The level 1 art is badass.
Also, that spell has Lurk!
How's this for a better Horn of Hamuul?

I'll be back with feedback tonight or tomorrow.
Congratulations to grumpymonk!

Pyke, Echo, and Rek'sai! Still surprised they didn't include Xerath in the Shurima-focused set.
Good luck to our finalists! Can't believe I'm among them lol.

...I'm guessing not well.

I'm assuming the art was mirrored, which is why the scar is on the wrong side of the face, but it wouldn't explain the hair or the missing tattoo lel
Going off of Molten Breath and Ironforge Portal, one can assume that other Fire spells for the Warrior could conceivably include some Armor gain.

I'm definitely not the main winner now lol. Congrats MathU! This is the Season of Math!
Good luck to everyone in the voting! I went ahead with my OP Cenarius, so I expect to lose great things!
While a very cool idea in theory, your undoing is that our submission form does not support that many cards :/

Didn't even offer me the Wild bundle, and I probably would have ponied up for it lel
This means no Aeroponics, no Force of Nature (the non-Classic version, anyway), and no Arbor Up.
