Exactly, they tried to solve this problem by only allowing standard decks in the Trials of Felfire, but most of the fights were still rather easy because it also needed to be doable in any potential future standard rotation.

No, dusted cards still count as owned for exactly this reason. You won't re-open the same card again until you got every card of the rarity and set atleast once, at this point the card is completely random.

I really enjoyed Duels for the last month or so. It's a interesting middleground between contructed and arena mixed with a bit of chaos. But I do wonder when the mode will get a new theming and heroes. The later one was already confirmed to come later this year in the Blizzcon q&a.
Oh an there is a small mistake in the Article

So in short, no Questlines (we have already covered the reasoning behind that earlier in the article) … allowed for anyone, folks! Let's shed a tear.
Just like the Ungoro quests you will be able to put them into your starterdeck, you are just unable to find them in the buckets.

I feel like trading could be really interesting with the quest. Either you use them to continue the early parts of the questline or you trade them to search for the more expensive cards in your deck.

It might be worth highlighting that you will be able to use your early opened Stormwind cards in your Duels starting deck. That's atleast how it was during the Darkmoon faire pre-release if I remember correctly.

I've noticed that some non-article things are shown on the main page, but not on the game specific sub-page. The Stormwind Launch Countdown aswell as the "81 Card revealed" and "Dreamhack Beyond" Banners are some current examples of this.
I would appreciate it if you could also add these und future things to the /hearthstone page since that's the page I actually bookmarked.

But that doesn't make them deathrattle classes. That's like saying that Priest is a demon class because they got Imprisoned Homunculus. It's not about single cards, but decks that are build around those mechanics. Hadronox is a special case. Yes the deck is build around its deathrattle, but not because of the deathrattle keyword, but because of its specific effect. No one would even think about calling Hadronox druid a deathrattle deck.
I can't remember the last time I saw a Gibberling, Alura (pre-rotation), Reader or Evocation since the nerfs.
For the complainers, here is a small collection for cards that got heavily impacted by 1 mana balance changes
Renew
Gibberling
Hysteria
N'Zoth, God of the Deep
High Abbess Alura
Voracious Reader
Jandice Barov
Evocation
Archivist Elysiana
The token in the patchnotes says "Battlecry: Repeat all other Battlecries from cards you played this game (targets chosen randomly)."

I'm a bit curios. Why is your profile-picture Dragonfire Potion instead of Holy Water?
I wonder how they discovered the Idea for the Keyword

I mean, they are already reworking every tribe in the game, this will surely also have an impact on the average damage taken
I guess you used the first Hero Power?

edit: Doesn't work. I must have mixed something up.

yes it does work, I belive I saw it on someones pre-release stream. But I'm not sure which one is was.

I wonder how you can get non-bundle skins like Cute'thun. Maybe with gold?
Edit: Not as of right now, but it seems like there will be a dragon bundle in the future.
Wait, so the patch has no new duels content? I was really looking forward to it after the ingame announcement that season 1 ends with this patch.

Druid, Mage, Paladin, Shaman, Warlock and Warrior are all classes that have no direct deathrattle synergy going on.
makes sense. I guess they could disable the youtube comments, but that would probably do more harm than good.
