Ashes of Outland launches today and we've put together all the information you want to know for the release.
Ashes of Outland releases at 1 PM Eastern (10 AM Pacific, 7 PM CEST)
New Site Feature: The Out of Cards Hearthstone Collection Manager
This morning we launched a collection manager for Hearthstone cards. Making use of it will display custom crafting costs on decks across the site and will show you which cards you are missing to make decks.
- You can access your collection manager by using your user dropdown on the site's navigation. Click "HS Collection".
- Collections are private and are not shared with other users.
- Calculations are performed in-browser to prevent the servers from melting.
We're planning to release a client to help sync collections to the site so no manual work needs to be done.

Ashes of Outland Day 1 Theorycraft Decks
The community has been hard at work thinking up deck ideas - here are some of them! Regis makes a great intro though - build your own decks! The only chance to really experiment is right at the start of a new set!

I Quit playing halfway through DoD release. Didn't bother with the last adventure.
Had zer0 gold saved up and preordered at the Last minute an including the free golden legendary (Astromancer Solarian) out of 55 packs I pulled Archspore, Akama, Lady Vash, Lurker Below, Kanrethad & Bladefist.
With the entire no duplicates rule in effect. I am only missing 32 cards , and with 9200 dust can easily craft what I want.
Kudos to Blizzard
Yeah, when I was opening my packs after around 30 I saw a duplicate common card and thought things were broken. Then I did the mental math and was like oh yeah, this really is that good. Then I started to see duplicate rares and still had quite a few packs to go.
I knew this was going to be good for the game, but until I actually cracked open packs and experienced it for myself, I didn't appreciate it as much as I did. Definitely no longer need to order both pre-orders to get a good chunk of your collection done which is awesome.
Love this change.
For the hell of it, I tracked my pack opening the expansion (first time doing so).
I got all the commons with my 30th pack and I got all rares with my 60th pack.
Amazing change.
Now I will only worry about crafting legendaries and epics.
it's actually kind of astounding how fast you get a full set of rares and commons now.
Really puts into perspective how bad the previous system was. I bought over 100 packs from DoD and I'm still missing Whispers of EVIL and now I have both my commons and rares finished after just 66 packs
Happy launch everybody!
opened 66 packs, only two legendaries, the actual minimum,
coronavirus take me now
at the very least they're good legendaries
opened 44 packs 4 legendaries, but hit the pity timer on epics almost every single time
literally had more legendaries than epics by the 24 card marker rofl
Patiently (not so patiently)waiting for Battle.net to update the shop so I can but the 60 pack bundles which aren’t available on the iPad. They really need to get it together so this updates when the expansion launches
Naxx OUT!
About to go open some packs! Wish me luck! :)
Dear Pack Opening Algorithm,
Yes I know it's been 4 months already! Since I last wrote, the world seems to be radically different and this also extends somewhat to Hearthstone. Once again, I ask for favorable synergistic pack openings results for both myself, and my fellow OOC members.
Times are hard for many at the moment, and a little respite from the real world when playing Hearthstone is a welcome change of pace for most of us. I hope everyone in Team 5 stays safe and wish the same for the playerbase in general (and indeed everyone else).
If you could see your way to raising our spirits and encouraging the Innkeeper to exclaim LEGENDARY! a little more often than usual it would be most welcome I am sure.
All the best

Well, as usual, I spend sleepless days thinking up the best decks to play on day 1, and then proceeded to completely miss out on all the cards I needed.
"I HOPE YOU LIKE AL'AR BUCKO"
-the algorithm
Does the collection manager allow you to select all and then just delete the ones you don’t have? That would be far easier
Yup, use "Bulk Add Filtered to Collection". If you dont select anything in the filter and use that button, you will add the max. amount of all cards from all sets to your collection. You can then remove any you dont have. If you have most of the cards, this might be faster for you.
This is definitely the right way to do this if you have a large collection already =D
I'm sorry stuff is manual right now, but I thought the addition of the button and plenty of filters should help everyone input less cards manually. Especially when you consider that commons and rares should be very easily collected for each set, now you only need to really worry about the epics and legendaries being input.
One thing I'd like to add in is the ability to only show cards that you haven't collected yet so there is less junk in the list when adding new cards. Also, sorting the cards in the same order they are in-game would be very beneficial.
Can I upvote this comment more than once?
No, but I upvoted it an extra time for you. ; )
Any chance said client for syncing our collections will work on Mac?
I've yet to look into anything for Mac though I do have a MBP so it'll be something we will actually look into, unlike another site that never did. It is very likely that we'll end up with 2 separate applications.
