Two new cards have been revealed in a PlayHearthstone Instagram Story.
Worthless Imps are the tokens summoned by Impbalming.
Flavor Text
- Impbalming - With your complexion, Imp Balm is a great demonizer.
- Earthquake - Shake it, sh-sh-sh-shake it like a Kalimdor fissure.

Wasn't quite sure how they worked but after reading the comments I'm really enjoying the synergies of these cards!
These are some nice cards
Good cheap removal of one big for warlock -- taunts, mechs, Inner Fire Priests and mages who cough up a minion before Conjurer's Calling it are likely targets.
Be nice if the imps had rush for portal decks.
Portal is fun, but man, does it lose a lot if your name isn't Brian Kibler.
As for the shaman, they're giving priest a run for the money in AoE clears in Hearthstone history.
Control Shaman still feels like it lacks a finishing move; Big Shaman is good, and Dragon Control Shaman with Brightwing needs just a tad more polish.
/Dragon Shaman is the only deck I've gotten to successfully use the golden High Inquisitor Whitemane I got from a pack so far. Very pretty effects.
Shamans cordially invite token Druid to eat it. Also dat Hagatha 5 mana token value! Or really any discover spell card
Earthquake seems to be very powerful, since it can deal very well with tokens generated from Soul of the Forest, SN1P-SN4P and a few others. I woudn't be surprised if this spell ends up carrying some slow Shaman decks to tier 2.
As for Impbalming, maybe Zoo Warlock would want a single-target removal plus some extra minions to work with Magic Carpet or Arch-Villain Rafaam, but only 1 copy of this in the deck seems enough.
Something about Impbalming that I haven't seen anyone bring up...
It shuffles more cards into your deck, so you have more cards to draw for Supreme Archaeology, which in turn allows you to benefit from Tome of Origination more as you have more cards in your deck. The downside of this though is that the Hero Power might end up being wasted on one of the Imps.
yeah I noticed that, it might end up seeing play in that deck if you are drawing that many cards.
[Impbalming] > [Supreme Archaeology] > [Tome of Origination] > [Arch-Villain Rafaam
Earthquake is Flamestrike on steroids.
can't compare a spell that damages ALL minions with a spell that damages only enemies, right ?
TM26: Earthquake
I think the warlock card fits into zoo deck with the 7-8 legendary...
Do not underestimate Impbalming
4 mana Destroy A minion is worth putting imps in your deck.
Control Hakkar Warlock incoming Pog
Impbalming seems solid. Destroy a Minion, gain three (slightly crap) minions that can be used for all sorts of shenanigans later.
Earthquake is bonkers good against Token and sticky Mech Boards but utter overkill against everything else. And also, Twisting Nether is the best AoE in the game. For sure... Maybe...
I would also like to add that the flavour text for Earthquake is going up there amongst my favourites. But I have a soft spot for that song anyway.
Not gonna lie. Had to re-read Earthquake's card effect twice to understand it.
No Reno warlock support 🤔.
Cant wait for the animation from earthquake
If you can.. check insta story of playhearthstone.. they have shown it there.. its pretty good. An earthquake comes and then an aftershoc
Token decks will not be happy with the Earthquake, really neat heavy removal and token removal.
Prevents midrange and tempo plays being utilized.
Impbalming is really strong to use for removal, 3 imps in deck gonna suck if you are looking for cards though, I think i still would play this cause its a really strong removal card, I think this one is slightly worse than Blastcrystal Potion if you aren't mana desperate.
Impbalming has it's risks but probably very satisfying when you just removed a major threat.
