Rotating Arena sets are back baby! When Madness at the Darkmoon Faire launches on November 17, Arena will include cards from the following sets:
- Madness at the Darkmoon Faire
- Scholomance Academy
- Demon Hunter Initiate
- Ashes of Outland
- Galakrond's Awakening
- Whispers of the Old Gods
- Basic
- Classic

Tavern Ticket (previously Arena Ticket)
With the introduction of a new game mode - Duels - which will share the same reward system as Arena, Blizzard is changing the Arena Ticket you can get via various ways to a Tavern Ticket; You will be able to use them for either game mode! On top of that, if you have been holding on to some Arena Tickets from the past, they will be usable for Duels as well.
*Don't forget to start your Arena run before November 17 to get your free Tavern Ticket for an unfinished run!

When Duels: Season One begins, it’ll offer two methods of play with separate matchmaking pools: Casual and Heroic. Casual runs are free and are a perfect starting point for exploring the mode and experimenting. It's kinda a shame that Demon Hunter forces the latest three sets to be part of arena - the class is basically standard only. Blizz should make a DH only arena set, and use those cards for when older sets are in play that DH gets no help from.
I don't think it has anything to do with Demon Hunter. I think it's meant to be all the sets from 2020 + WotOG. Why else would Galakrond's Awakening be in by itself?
Has there been any news on the rewards structure of Heroic duels?
Literally the same as Arena, 150g entry fee, max 12 wins, same rewards, you have 2 lifes (run ends after 3 losses).

I don't see it being any different from arena honestly. Same system, probably same rewards. You need to average 7 runs for infinite plays.
True, but same as Arena, if you are going to buy packs from current expansion and you like the game mode, Arena or now Duels, you can play that instead, get the guaranteed pack and maybe something extra.
To get your 150g worth all you need is roughly 3 wins, sometimes even 2 and that is doable for most ppl. You could play Duels casual, if you just wanted to play, which is, I imagine, why that is even an option.
My point is, you don't have to average 7 wins to enjoy the game mode or for it to be worth it to you, same has been with Arena, only top tier players average these results, and majority of players are certainly not in that margin :)
I will say that I'm sad that Duels will mimic Arena reward system, I had hoped for Arena to get a do-over, lower entry fee, less rewards, but more accessibility to a broader audience and had hoped new game mode would pave the road for that, again, it seems like they just allowed you to choose if you want to just play, or play for rewards, so they can avoid changing that avenue. Don't totally agree with that, but we'll see.
Interesting choice of sets. Seems like no Zephrys the Great and Dragonqueen Alexstrasza in this rotation, which is VERY good! Those 2 are extremely broken in Arena.
Also i'm personally happy their moving back to rotating sets in arena, it makes the arena more fun to play i.m.o. And i feel like the arena is very boring right now, so i'm glad that they do this. However, having said that, The sets with a bunch of discover cards in them are in this rotation, so this rotation might still be all about RNG/being luckier. But that's Arena in a nutshell, so that's probably not that bad.
So Galakrond's Awakening is in rotation but not the actual descent of dragons set? Interesting. At least there's no more bullshit random Alex drops anymore.
