Not so strong but is a good card. Redemption on turn 1 and this on 2, is a sticky mech board to deal..
When is paladin actually going to get more midrange or control synergies? It gets boring seeing a bunch of small minions pushed into paladin for so long.
So long? All the dragon cards from RoS and most paladin cards in RR were midrange/control cards. They may not have had a big impact on the meta but it is certainly not the case that only small minions have been pushed in pally for ages.
Anyway, unless warrior is toned down there's really no space for other control decks in the meta, and since pally has never had the tools for extreme value decks (akin to burgle rogue) it is going to struggle to compete with warrior in long games. In other words, pally has plenty of recently added midrange/control tools, but the meta just doesn't let them thrive.
On it's own, it's not very impressive. However, Reborn tag for the quest, sticky mech for magnetize and other synergies, can be drawn with Crystology, and overall it seems like the synergies might add up to something worthwhile.
Not sure about this, seems bad considering the rest of the mechs that Paladin usually runs.
This is pure trash, no two ways around it.
Seems underwhelming at first glance but i am sure this has a lot of synergy capabilities.
Good card for token decks, but noy so good for mech decks because second half of reborn has antisynergy with Kangor's Endless Army
How did a Mech get mummified? 😂
This is not as good as the Lightforged Blessing one, but that's a very high standard to aspire to.
What's the lightforged blessing one?
They made a Song for their previous reveal which was lightforged blessing
Ok, one more playable, preferably cheap Paladin mummy, and I woudln't mind getting Making Mummies as my free quest instead of Corrupt the Waters...
wait, this is a Mech, and a mummy? how is that even logically possible? did they scoop out all of the mechs wires and stuff, then wrap him in tinfoil and bury him?
So, this is basically a Master Swordsmith that can't be killed in one hit, synergies with Making Mummies, and slots decently well into Mech Paladin. Seems pretty great, and will easily find at least one archetype to be good in.
Funny thing is someone made a coment Swordsmith is most likely the better aggro card , since without the quest you can play a 1 drop and get the +1 effect from him . Also i am not sure if the heropower can make up for the loss of the army.
Haha mech mummy, crazy hs team!! Pally flavor is all over the place!
but interesting card!!
The fact that it is a mech does help.
I was hoping paladin would get a big awesome minion with reborn effect in his epic slot. Not what I expected, but it looks playable at best comparing to paladin early game minions like drygulch jailor, meanstreet marshal, primalfin champion, etc. Sometimes paladin got a trash early game minions like those I mentioned, but currently, he has decent early game minions (if not, wild).
Looking forward to more reborn minions.
Time to get downvoted into oblivion for saying: I think this card is garbage. Shielded Minibot is rolling over in his grave.
