We've got a balance patch coming tomorrow, January 28, to target Hysteria, one of the new cards that was added in the Darkmoon Races mini set. The changes are a part of Patch 19.4.1.
- Hysteria now can only target an enemy minion.
- Choose an enemy minion. It attacks random minions until it dies.
This breaks a combo in Wild that was able to kill your opponent through the use of Wretched Tiller and Deathspeaker. The patch should arrive around 1 PM Eastern, like most Hearthstone patches, and will likely have some kind of delay before arriving on mobile platforms.
Hysteria will be eligible for a full dust refund for 2 weeks after the 19.4.1 patch goes live.
Bug Fixes Coming!
Additionally, we're getting a few bug fixes including that annoying journal notification no longer being a pest.
Quote From Blizzard
- Fixed a bug where Collection Achievement progress could get out of sync with the current contents of your collection.
- Dev Comment: You will still never lose credit for an Achievement once it's been completed.
- Fixed a bug where Arena could fail to load for new players.
- Fixed a visual bug where notifications would persist for the Journal after completed Achievements had been claimed.

It's live as of now, you just have to manually choose update from the launcher menu.
When should the patch hit?
I'm wondering the same. There was also a long maintenance downtime announced for today in Battle.net client (6:30 p.m. till 8 a.m), but the announcement is gone.
Was starting to wonder if it was just me who hadn’t seen it come down.
Trying to figure out the list, but I am playing around with Neferset Thrasher and Treachery to see how it might still be possible to use Hysteria in a Tiller style OTK. Ultimately I've got the idea down:
If you can pull it off, Thrasher takes 2 damage the one time it hits the Deathspeaker, and then goes through a loop of hitting the immune Dummy and dealing 3 to the opponent, a grand total of 90 damage. Pulled it off first try against the Innkeeper, but having a lot more difficulty against real players with actual meta decks. Came very close against a Control C'Thun Lock, but he got a luck Dirty Rat on my Emperor, followed by a lucky Cascading Disaster that was not corrupted, and the one minion it removed was Thaurissan. If he had survived or not been the minion pulled from hand I would have gotten it off in a live game.
Just from the one time I made it work against Innkeeper the combo is hilariously fun. But it's also very hard to pull off, and extremely frustrating. Since you can't make the Neferest immune and then Treachery + Hysteria on it, the board basically needs to be clear or have no more than 4 combined attack from all minions other than Thrasher.
Ultimately, don't try this one out unless you are a super smart deck builder (which I am not) and you can figure out the best possible list to go along with it. I'm mostly just playing a lot of card draw, much of which has self damaging effects too, so Darkglare it in there to help me gain more mana and keep cycling as fast as possible. But I'm not built like the normal Darkglare Warlocks so it's hard to keep the board and stay alive.
Last time I checked on my iPad it still had the wrong art for Town Crier. I guess that will be fixed. I'm expecting a delay for mobile because bug fixes mean code changes. Unless they're server-side bugs. I know I've seen balance patches where you didn't have to wait because it could just download the new data from Blizzard servers since none of the executable code changed.
It's kind of hilarious to me that no one at Blizzard seems to have noticed this combo before they printed the card. It's clearly just about as busted as a combo can get.
I"m glad to see that they realized how ridiculous this combo was and did something about it. I am quite bummed that I was caught up in trying to complete all the new quests since the "mini-set" cards were released to bother playing either of the decks that were causing people to rage quit.
glad blizzard is keeping up with their record of ruining every single deck i enjoy without a second thought. mill kingsbane rogue, turtle mage and now this (among many others). something as simple as quest mage consistently beats tillerlock with barely any changes to its list (out of all my laddering with quest mage i lost to tiller combo maybe once). pain zoolock consistently beats tillerlock (zoolock is my most played deck of all time, tillerlock is nowhere near fast enough). the only major deck that was consistently losing to tiller was highlander priest also known as the best deck in the entire format, so i hope everyone enjoys getting otk'ed because its still gonna happen, you're just gonna have to waste more time before you get there and theres gonna be even more of it because highlander priest is gonna be insane again. what a joke, i wish blizzard would just do the right thing and make a new format they can balance and keep wild wild, but that would take too much effort.
edit: i also want to bring up that this is just another example of the balance team being too afraid of combo decks/any other form of deck they or a vocal part of the community believe to be unfun to play against so much so that it begins to degrade the variety of playstyles and discourages players and deckbuilders from attempting to explore unique new decks/comboes because if their idea becomes decent it could just be nerfed out of the game, even if its nowhere even close to affecting the meta (e.g. turtle mage and mill kingsbane rogue)
A turn 7 3-card OTK is never okay, no matter what counters or bad matchups exist. Whatever valid concerns there are about nerfing combo in general, this particular example was clearly broken and not at all healthy for the game. It was incredibly easy to play, comparatively difficult to counter (especially considering how early it can OTK), and most importantly, incredibly un-fun to lose to. This is a game people play to have fun, so that's why it needed to be nerfed.
This was a pretty smart nerf.
Classic hs balance team. Instead of changing the wild cards, they completely kill one of the best aspects about the new priest card. Shitting on priest for no reason even though its already in a bad state. Brilliant job
And here I was thinking that people complained when they nerfed Wild commons instead of giving more dust by nerfing a rarer card that more people have.
I guess it can be both, though. They're screwed either way.
This sucks really bad, I was using it in warlock to clear some of the board after dropping a Tickatus or after buffing a friendly demon with Man'ari Mosher so I gain a bunch of life. And I don't think this interactions were broken or anything.
Too bad they couldn't find another way, hope they keep thinking of a better solution and this is just to remove the broken combo right now but I don't think it'll be the case.
This interactions were not broken, but were way powerful and asking for trouble... Hysteria limited design space basically because such stuff was possible...
:kekw: Good, that was some Garbage combo people tried to Abuse in Wild ladder.
I'm playing a lot of miracle priest, and actually, casting hysteria on your minions is sometimes the right thing to do. Clearing stealth minions, or just making use of your high health minions in this way is more effective that getting only one attack of your enemy minions.
And i had a lot of sucsess using it on the 5/5 lifesteal token from Enhanced Dreadlord to heal up to 20 health in one turn. That is sadly no longer possible :(
I was doing the same, this really makes me sad since it was really cool to do it and nothing broken
