Would be cooler if you keep the damage during your opponent's turns, so if their minions(or they) hit you, take damage.
Maybe you can tweak so "Every time your hero gains attack power, it last until your next turn", so it incentivates this mechanic
Mage: *laughs in pyroblast*
I feel like I'm the only one who likes this card? IMO it's underrated. Doesn't mean it will be meta though. I just like it because it represents an archetype that has been barely touched upon.
The only reason this would be that good is because Taunts exist. So its hard to hit face this is actually great though in my opinon when you can get this to hit face. You make a tempo deck and probably run Alexstrasza the Life-Binder for 2 turn 16 damage finisher.
I made a tempo druid like a couple months ago and it wasn't too bad there's a lot more burst in Druid than you think.
Ugh... This effects are a bit underwhelming. Just attack and armor, maybe still good just nothing special
Ah, so this is why Pounce and Feral Rage were included in Core. cuz Moontouched amulet wouldn't be enough to get this quest off
We need another Cheap combine choose one effects card. Because Feral Rage sucks when you can't get the armor from it.
Reminds me of when DK Malfurion was revealed, people called it underwhelming because it didn't have those flashy value hero powers. Turns out it was the most played out of all of them. Sure the reward isn't a permanent effect but the quest is so much easier to complete than the other ones. It can be just as much game ending in an aggressively built midrange deck.
Sure, except in the same expansion druid got one of the best (and perhaps still the best) cards in the game with Ultimate Infestation and Spreading Plague was literally plaguing the entire meta. At that point dk malfurion being most played was really just a no brainer. In a vacuum, there's no doubt that its inferior compared to every other DK except perhaps shaman.
Nah, DK druid is still very relevant in the current meta. The card finds home in a lot of combo decks due to the amount of sustain the card gives.
In case of the questline, I hate to say it but I'd wait a bit longer before judging it. For now it is definitely difficult to finish, but just one more overall great support like Park Panther might give the deck a chance.
FYI Updated card names
Feral Friendsy & Guff the Tough
We'll have updated images when Blizzard provides official ones. But at least we can groan about how many facepalms Feral Friendsy generates.
Why not "Every turn give your hero X attack and X armor". That would be cool.
I love the idea of this quest, but it seems very weak compared to the others.
or giving your hero attack constantly even during oponenets turns
Agreed. They could’ve even made the last reward into a hero card to give players the fantasy of turning into their “Bear Form”. Passive Hero Power being “Your hero has 4 attack on your turn”
Compared to the other quests this feels really underwhelming - the rest either win the game or have effects that last the rest of the game. Inner demon + 8 armour doesn't feel on the same level
Did we really want to see Druids with a win the game questline? lol. They're annoying enough as is and I'm not looking forward to the armor potential here.
Looks interesting but seems kinda weak compared to other Questlines. I mean yes a 5 Mana 8/8 with taunt that gives you 8 Attack and 8 Armor is still pretty good but im not sure if it`s worth to play cards to get there.
But still, i kinda like it.
Well, this one tops the charts of the most underwhelming reward Ive ever seen from a quest.
Is it easy to complete in standard? Well, all you need is just Moontouched Amulet and Feral Rage to basically complete the quest. Combined that with Pounce and Park Panther, that's quite a good deal of damage.
But honestly, this quest seems like a joke. You're skipping a turn with one card less to enable something that doesn't even gain or control tempo never mind win the game. Unless there's something that doubles battlecry for minions, Guff is just never going to actually win you the game other than against burn decks.
I can only trust that playtesting on this thing paints a far different picture that what Im seeing at the moment. Or maybe theres something down the line that makes this OP as hell, because the conditions are very easy to fulfill to be honest.
My first thought was, "Oh no, now there's two 'mE gO fAcE' classes." Then I brightened up when I realized Demon Hunter is probably a better comparison. Then my heart sank when I realized Demon Hunter is probably a better comparison.
So between the completion and the reward there are a total of 23 attack, 18 armor, 1 card drawn and an 8/8 taunt?
Why do all the other give either a permanent effect or straight up win the game and this just complete a previous plan?
