  • What do you think how far Silvername will get?

I heared he had some "special gaming operations" lately. :)

    • The irony is that he had more viewers than all the other 10-15 streamers broadcasting this tournament have in summ, including the official Blizzard's stream.

  • Its actually more interesting to note that there's already a cheating scandal in battlegrounds even before the tournament started. A precarious thing too, because an slight irregularity in minion placing can very well determine winners and losers.

  • I hope i will get a chance to watch this today. I liked the team BG events, but playing as a team is very different than playing solo. If you know you are going against your teammate, you can decide to tier-up aggressively, or sell some of your minions to do as little damage as possible and so on. Solo, you will simply want to win or at least get top4, which should be interesting to see how the play-style changes and/or evolves during the event. Playing the same group of ppl can become playing the player, not the game, to an extent. We shall see.

  • In the last weeks I mostly watched the tournaments for the packs - but a few hours I watched it, because I was a bit interested in the gameplay too.

But for Battlegrounds I whould only watch for the packs.

    • It seems like there are no drops this time. :(

I will watch a bit, maybe they will get activated later...

  • No packs?

    • No mention of packs in the announcement blog, or anywhere else that I know of.
