So this Invoke effect will help complete Hack the System, right? Interesting.
At 7 mana this is the new Dr Boom. Tempo lives!
In combination with Upgrade!, Armored Goon Sul'thraze and Akali, the Rhino this card has the potential not only to revive Tempo Warrior, more like evolve it to the next level.
The HP is the strongest part, because it means the Invoke cards you play during earlier turns are little to no Tempo loss at all.
So Galakrond could be the backbone for a new Tempo Warrior.
As good as this card looks, I think I'll have to wait and see what the Warrior specific "Invoke" cards are before passing judgement. Hopefully they're at least decent because this Galakrond seems to be the best yet.
Also, I know it might be optimistic, but Hack the System has surprising synergy with this Galakrond. You can cut some of the bad weapons for the Invoke cards and just use those to finish the quest instead. Then, if the 4/3 minions aren't cutting it, switch to Galakrond (once it's fully upgraded) and get all of its benefits.
If you stack multiple invoke cards, will the effect accumulate? If so, there's a potential for an otk here.
I'm sure invoke accumulates, but I don't see how you get to OTK territory. Each "invoke" card you play gets you +3 attack. Even assuming you already have a 5-attack weapon equipped, you'd need to invoke 8 times in one turn to get to a 29 attack. I don't see how that happens without Major Shenanigans™; and there are already plenty of OTKs available, if you allow for Major Shenanigans™.
But outside of memeing or dungeon runs, I don't see how this invoke does all that much.
...or am I misunderstanding you?
I dont see why it wouldnt.
This will probably make Devoted Maniac playable. This is the only hero power that has immediate impact on the board as soon as it is triggered. No waiting for your imps to lose summoning sickness, and no extra mana needed to pay for your lackey and then wait for it to lose summoning sickness.
With this, every invoke card also allows you to kill a minion, or push for lethal.
This is probably the best Galakrond we have seen so far.
Tempo Warrior will love this and Rush minions will make the most out of those powerful buffs. Nice Reload + potential finisher. It's not meant for Control Warrior which is nice because warrior needs other archetypes to play with but it isn't unplayable in that deck either. After Dr. Boom leaves, this could fill the gap nicely enough. Though the quest is probably a better win condition for Control Warrior in 2020.
Wow. Extremely powerful battlecry effect. The +4/+4 can probably be silenced; can anyone confirm?
since it's most certainly a handbuff yes.
Dang. 7/5 Wolfrider? 6/5 Bluegill? 7/11 Tomb Warden?
4/7 Eternium Rover + 7/6 Zilliax = BEEG HEELS
I’d say go for Scraphound over the Rover, every attack you get 13 armor and heal 13
yeah, but it's more conditional. Eternium Rover is in any Warrior deck anyways
Doesn't mean we can't build a mech deck for it that abuses Magnetic, but on average I feel like Zilliax + Rover is going t be a common outcome
OMG guys I'm getting more and more excited about this card.
Probably not the best Galakrond revealed, but the coolest for sure. Love the Azeroth's End pic.
Really good battlecry and HP, the best Galakrond until now.
I like it ! Happy it isn’t control warrior specific
