Two New Hearthstone Cards Revealed, Confirming Leaks - Escaped Manasaber & The Fist of Ra-den

We've got two new cards thanks to a promotional email sent out by Blizzard.

Interestingly, these two cards being revealed tell us much more. Some of the recently shared leaks, have more authenticity now!

Confirmed Revealed Cards

These two cards are confirmed to be real.

Leaked Cards Pending Confirmation

These cards are possibly real. We know not everyone can read Spanish, so we've got translations below. Thanks to BeerBrick for breaking the leaks.

We are not adding these to our database or creating discussion threads until they are confirmed by Blizzard.

  • Reduces cost by 1 for each damage dealt to enemy this turn.
  • Discover a Battlecry minion. Reduce its Cost by (2).
  • Battlecry: Enemy Battlecry cards cost (5) more next turn.
  • Whenever a friendly mech dies, add a random mech to your hand.
  • After you play a minion, deal 1 damage to all minions
  • Discover two Warlock cards.
  • Battlecry: Summon two 1/1 Icicles with Freeze

    It has not.

I misread it twice as "That's hot" with Will Smith voice ..! ^^ ... but is was not.

  • Looks like the leaks were somewhat real after all. If that's true then there's some support for aggro. The one where you reduce its cost by damage dealt to enemies is very interesting. Almost close to a key card building something like heal zoo, except now the conditions is even easier. Will be looking forward to seeing the leaks confirmed.

    Now for something confirmed;

Escaped Manasaber - What this card essentially does is to automatically play a coin every time it attacks. But its not for the effect why this card is playable, its the fact that it has stealth, and with a health pool of 5 its not going to be AoE'd down easily. Most midrange and highlander will likely play this card. Being able to cheat out one mana may not be a lot, but it still counts. And if the minion survives the first attack, its a soft taunt that cannot be ignored.

The Fist of Ra-den - Just when you think shaman has some of the most OP cards in this set then here comes something that literally defies all decent sense. Its not just that it gives a minion, it gives a legendary minion, which substantially lowers the RNG factor on the minion summoned. And before you think its just an ooze away from being done, any deck that plays this card will almost certainly play 1-2 copies of Hoard Pillager so lucks out I guess, unless you Kobold Stickyfinger it away. Very powerful card, easily a centerpiece for control shaman.

Shoutout to that Loatheb like card for battlecry card (edited from minions) that will almost certainly see play. I look forward to this being the new most-hated-card candidate if it gets confirmed to be real.

  • Good to know that Blizzard isn't designing around Shudderwock anymore. That minion-focused Loatheb is crazy

    • I really didn't see it coming; by the way, here's my calm reaction after reading your post:

  • Wrote this before and My phone decided to die on me, so I Will make it quicker this time xD.

Hey! Just wanted to point out that "Alavil Incansable"'s text would be translated as "Costs 1 less for each point of damage dealt to the Enemy Hero this turn" as Adversario is a term mostly used for the opposing player.

I realised it only said Enemy on the English description and it might missrepresent the effect on the card.

Reduces cost by 1 for each damage dealt to enemy this turn

PS: I am not a native English speaker, but a Spanish one, so if the English text is on point and The "Enemy Hero" part is clear enough as it is, ignore this comment.

Now on the Cards... Really exited to try that Shaman Weapon... I need it in My collection for yesterday!

  • Wait it is 3 mana 3/5 or bait for Deadly Shot or board clear or something

  • Feels like we might get 3 cards per class, which is 27.

cause we do have revealed cards with mixed rarities right now

    1 legendary, 1 common and 1 rare/epic

    and 8 cards is neutral

I might be wrong, but based of what cards that got revealed i think it is built like that.

    • Escaped Manasaber has some great meme potential! I'm seeing getting windfury on this guy with Crackling Razormaw to get 2 extra mana for a turn. Not sure what the win condition will be yet, but I see potential for some fun!
    • The Fist of Ra-den makes a new Big Spell Shaman possible. The only reason I believed the leaks, is because of this card, and Eye of the Storm. Will it be viable? Probably not. Shaman likes low cost spells, and most shaman lists have no spells larger than 5 mana. The >5 mana options that are available?

    • I'm a bit curious with that interaction with Kalecgos.  There aren't any 0 mana legendary minions.

      • you don't have to wait for Kalecgos, just cast mutate (or other 0 mana cost spells) and see what happen.

      • It is hard fro Shaman to summon Kalecgos

      • That's a good point. It will probably just whiff and save your weapon charge.

  • So why shamans get an extra legendary? Have we not had enough OP shaman decks?

  • The Shaman Legendary weapon was itself one of the leaked cards, which even further leads me to believe the leaked cards are real.

Does anyone know, do you only get the golden pack if you pre-order? I should probably just spend gold but I'm on the fence. $20 buys me... well, not much these days if I'm being honest.

    • Only real money

    • Only pre-order

  • Spirit of the frog with weapon into the mage legendary dragon soul card will be disgusting if the right deck enables it.

Rogue and shaman keep getting good shit every expansion...

  • Wait, isn't that the Weapon from Medivh, the Guardian, just better and cheaper? Nice! Now Standard has also a Meme Weapon-Shaman.

Also, that Doggo is pretty interesting. Mana-Cheating is always powerful.
