I guess everybody agrees that this expansion's general power level is off the roof, perhaps even more so than KFT two years ago. What worries me in the most is that; in this sea of OP cards, warlock's cards are very weak in comparison. [Hearthstone Card (Supreme Archeology) Not Found] is a joke and is even worse than Lakkari Sacrifice. Tekhan is nice but unlike The Caverns Below, it requires to be drawn. Overall, I think Lackey support won't save zoo.
RIP warlock players.

If I had to guess i would say it's a beast oriented quest if some kind, perhaps summoning beats that cost 5 or more. I feel like they will try to do a quest for hunter that supports a slower play style. This is just based off the hunter cards we have seen already.
I don't want to see anything related to traps.
What do you all want to see? Stream starts when this thread is 2 hours old, hype!

As more cards from the new expansion get announced, one deck in particular interests me more than any other: Singleton Combo Druid. The things I like most about the prospect of this deck are the various packages you can include in it, and the various possible win conditions. Malygos Combo, Linecracker Combo, King Phaoris boards, and many others that I have not thought of. The amount of draw is a complicated question that I feel can't really be answered completely until we get to play with the deck itself. The decklist posted below is my attempt at building it, with justifications for the different packages included in the guide. What do you guys think? How would you build this deck? Does it have any chance against Warrior and Mage?

I just wanted to mention, how much better is the new design approach of the new quests. I think we need to put them between old quests and death knights .
They bringing back the element of sacrificing a card slot in your opening hand-and most of the time your turn1 play is play nothing.
On the other hand, death knights/hero cards were OP because they gave gamewinning HP without any restrictions, (only the high mana cost). But you only had to slightly build around and they worth running any midrange/control deck. Not to speak about the extremely powerful battlecries which are usually flip the table.
It just feel right, to for that better HP you need to do something, and see the orange counter ticking, getting prepared whats coming even if its for you, or for your opponent.
Basically upgraded hero powers have slower impact on the game, however more late game value, while you keep pressing that button on every turn.
But its more fair, than having them from the beginning of the game, like with Genn Greymane and Baku the Mooneater.
It was smart chice also when you play wild, you naturally dont want to play the new quest and the old quest/DK together.
I am really excited about the expansions quest element, and curious how it turns out.
What are your opinion?

I pre-ordered this expansion for only one reason: the sexy druid, Elise Starseeker!!!
I have never had so much fun BMing in my entire life!!! Some of you probably still believe this art (yeah, BMing is a type of art ;) ) is bad and childish, but c'mon, we play games to have fun after all, and what is more fun than making fun of your opponents when they cannot hit you in the face because you are behind a keyboard??? :D :D :D
I'm totally convinced this hero is perfect for the job. Why? Let's take a look at her best emotes:
- "You have legendary skill, my friend" (Well Played): Totally savage when you use it to mock your opponents (which is 100% of the time, probably).
- "I will teach you a lesson" (Threaten): This emote is perfect to spam and also, to use it at the begining of any match. Just for using it only one time, your opponent knows already you are an arrogant douche full of yourself!!! :D :D :D
And finally...
- "This is a... teaching moment" (Oops): Perfect emote when you have lethal, makes you look arrogant and superior to your opponent (just like the Threaten emote does), but the most important thing about it is that it also fits perfectly after a match of spamming "I will teach you a lesson", which usually makes your opponent insanely angry and salty, because well, you had it planned all the time, my friend, didn't you? ;) ;) ;) Receiving a friend request because of this is not a rare thing, my dear ex-Hearthpwners. :D :D :D
For this three reasons (and probably many more...) Elise Starseeker is THE QUEEN OF BMING!!! Or do you think there is already other hero in the game better for the job? Make a comment on this thread to prove me wrong, please. :) :) :)
Note: I know I'm going to be downvoted to hell by cry babies, but well, who cares??? I had to make this thread, I couldn't resist the temptation!!! :P :P :P

So I had an idea on how to make a Standard OTK deck by using discounted Shadow of Deaths to fill the board with copies of Leeroy Jenkins.
What do you think? Are there better ways to pull off the combo (in Wild, Emperor Thaurissan would make this a whole lot easier) than what I have? And I don't know what to do with the rest of the deck, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hey all,
I really like the new warlock cards coming out and want to run a midrange set in wild with the release of Saviours of Uldum.
I've made the following deck and I'm looking for some advice.

Here's the guide [which isn't actually a guide] from the deck page:
I haven't yet seen any theorycrafted midrange Warlocks yet though I'll know they'll be an archetype. Looking for some help perfecting it ahead of the expansion.
My thoughts were to include lots of removal & healing and have a solid win condition coupled with some good midrange value.
The win condition is to draw Dark Pharaoh Tekhan generate lackeys then flood the board with them either through drops or better yet Glinda Crowskin as you could in theory fill the board with them multiple times.
To bolster things I've included some Jumbo Imps and lots of ways to kill off their normal sized brothers and sisters on mass.
I'm considering adding in Expired Merchant to generate more Jumbo Imps for the Flame Imps to make the Sense Demons more effective. I also thought about Blood Troll Sapper as I'm sacrificing so many 1/1 imps throughout.
All suggestions are really helpful.
Also to add to this I'm pretty new to Wild and only up to rank 13, so far I'm finding that a midrange deck would be fine BUT this might not be the case higher up so all constructive criticism is welcome as this might be completely useless from ranks 10-1.

It may be anecdotal, but the last ~3 weeks I've seen so many more people rope on turn 1 than I have before (maybe 1 out of every 5-6 games whereas a month ago it was maybe 1 out of 40-50). Is this some new thing i.e. some streamer suggested it to idk throw off your opponent's tempo? I know they're not AFK because they didn't time out on the mulligan selection, so just really confused about what's going on. Am I alone in experiencing this?

It will be nice if blizzard would communicate more. I know information is power but seriously? Are we just supposed to refresh hs reddit or toast's? It's not that i'm angry that it didn't get revealed, it's just a card in a card game. But the blizzard continuous lack of communication tilts me. This is so bad for the players, no wonder people get angry with the game. Never change blizzard, never change...
Idk man, maybe it's just me who doesn't like to get teased over and over and over

I'm wondering what predictions people have for new archetypes that will be competitive or somewhat competitive with the coming expansion. My current guesses include Malygos Druid, a midrange Lackey Warlock, and Combo Priest with High Priest Amet. Honorable mentions that could have success as well are Zoo Priest, Murloc Paladin with Chef Nomi, and Tempo Warrior.

This is a breakdown of neutral cards per expansion wise

This is a breakdown of cards of a class( in this case it is druid) expansion. There have been some fluctuation in classes where some of the class cards went to HoF or Hunter was the only card which received 2 legendaries in TGT (Which takes all total hunter legendaries to 20, for others it is 19) but more or less they are quite same.
Expect 8 of more charts like this.

This is a dust wise breakdown of cards of a class per expansion(in this case:druid)
.f you have noticed a pattern then you will that after MSG, Blizzard have reduced the number of neutral legendaries, instead increased the number of class legendaries by 1 (From JtUG).
As a F2P player from open beta I found this new trend more suitable. I have consolidated my attention to a single class (priest) & only craft Priest & neutral cards. After MsG I found it much easier to fill my collection than before.
I have all of the priest cards & almost half of the Neutral collection (with entire adv: CoN,BRM, LoE, ONK)
This is the current numbers of neutral cards I need to complete my neutral collection

From this chart you can see that I fared much better from Ungoro than I did before & I am filling up my neutral collection much quicker than before & because of no duplicate legendary rule it has become more easier if you only concentrate on a single class.
I know that different people might have different experience with this new system but for me this new breakdown was more favorable.

Do y'all think Hearthstone should have a Creative mode in which players could create their own game modes (with certain sets, some card bans, and maybe some Tavern Brawl rules), similar to how it's done in other games such as Overwatch? It could allow people to test out their crazy ideas, it would be tons of fun to play, and it might give the developers some ideas for the game! It could even go a step further and the creator could choose certain cards to buff or nerf (just in stats, like the Boomsday buffs). This would allow for players who want a huge diversity of experience to have a lot of fun during the in-between months while not harming the new player experience! I think this could even feasibly happen, since I don't think it would hurt Blizzard's bottom line and it would actually motivate people to craft more cards to try out more cool decks!

As a player who loves to build decks and loves to see a meta with a great variety of different archtypes, the first month of an new Expansion ist my favorite time of Hearthstone.
As time is passing by the meta settles and most decks just differ by a minority of cards. Sure sometimes someone finds a new deck and the meta might redifine itself a little, but overall the game loses it's appealing character to adapt and improve your deck.
So my idea to keep Hearthstone fresh:
Add a rotating pool of cards to standard
This way the game would stay fresh between the release of new expansions, while Blizzard woudn't lose money and standard would stay balanced by their Definition.
What are your thoughts on my Idea?

Hey All!
Recently we got to enjoy The dungeon run-like Tavern Brawl with a golden copy of Recurring Villain, Bronze Herald and Rafaam's Scheme as a reward. After receiving these rewards I looked them up in my collection and was surprised to I see I got two golden copies of each. As I mostly play Arena anyway I dusted the non-golden copies of these cards and kept the golden versions.
Just now I opened a pack with a Rafaam's Scheme in it and was about to dust it, but then I noticed that the second copy of the golden version is gone. Same thing happened with the other two cards. I only own a golden version of these two cards now.
Is it just me hallucinating or did anyone else had a similar experience?
