The other people commenting here didn't read the card. It doesn't say 'this turn'.
You can play this on turn 2 and then a Combustion on turn 3 at 6 damage, or instead play another one on turn 3 and a Fireball on turn 4 for 10 damage.
Read the card, guys.
2 for 2/3 with the caveat of needing more mana to spend on a spell that turn... eh, getting kinda iffy there guy
Decent with ignite, but not sure this is impactful enough. Mage already has access to spell damage +2 with the phoenix card (albeit dormant for 2 turns) that enables them to plan out burst turns without committing mana from that turn (dormant allows you to "bank" the spell damage cost for 2 turns later).
