[79% WR] Giant Galakrond Rogue
- Galakrond Rogue

Proof (rank 2):
General Strategy:
Through the early game, this deck doesn't do much other than play a Bloodsail Flybooter, dagger up, and try to play an EVIL Miscreant or Seal Fate for a little bit of tempo. Fortunately, not many decks do much before turn 3 anyway. Try not to dump your hand much, and instead keep as many cards in hand as possible to synergize for a big Twilight Drake, cheaper Mountain Giant, value with Spirit of the Shark/ Magic Carpet, etc. Instead of playing the 2 pirates with Bloodsail Flybooter, i'll dagger up on 2 and save them for later.
In the midgame we want to curve out our big minions like Twilight Drake, Mountain Giant, Shield of Galakrond, and ideally set up a Heistbaron Togwaggle on 6 or 7. Usually, play your big minions first, instead of many lackeys. Lackeys are always easy to play later, and can generate you value. From there, you draw like crazy, puke your whole hand onto the board in any random order and win.
*note* The reason this deck works so well, is because we are generating so many lackeys we are bound to get a few Titanic Lackeys to throw onto our giants/drakes.
*note2* Careful about hand size with Spirit of the Shark in play since we will have so many battlecries that generate cards. Oftentimes, when my hand is full I wont play Spirit of the Shark and rather try to dump my hand while generating as much tempo as possible first.
*tip* You can use Seal Fate on your opponent if they are at full health. And I will usually do so turn 3, if they don't have a minion in play. There are 8 invoke cards in the deck so the sooner you can generate lackeys and upgrade Galakrond, the Nightmare, the better.
Mulligan:
Always Keep: Bloodsail Flybooter, Praise Galakrond!, EVIL Miscreant, Seal Fate, Devoted Maniac, Twilight Drake
Sometimes Keep: Backstab (Against faster classes), Sap (against Priest, Paladin), Galakrond, the Nightmare (against slower classes), Lifedrinker (against Hunter), Zilliax (against Hunter), Sea Giant (against Warlock)
I hope you like this deck and, as always, if you have any questions or have a suggestion please comment below (I respond to all comments)!

Thanks!! finally made it :D
Deck title:
[79% WR] Giant Galakrond Rogue
Actual winrate based on HSReplay.Net:
51,1%
Of course the HSReplay data is going to show a lower win rate since it’s a comprehensive average of everyone playing the deck, and baddies like me are bringing the average down.
Funki posted his own win rate at the time, which is going to be much higher since he created the deck and knows it inside and out.
Just tried your deck buddy, first match was orgasmic! Got a little scared with the start but when sharking togwaggle things started going mad...constantly full hand, goodstuff(TM) happening, synergies à go-go...madness, I love it!
Edit: Have you seen that new reveal Grand Lackey Erkh? Think what I'm thinking? Even dangerous, you will never be able to empty that hand!
Glad you love it! Yeah, you can have some pretty crazy turns, especially when you get 0 mana cost giants and 0 mana cost sharks on your swing turns! Every game feels really intense like that :)
I don't think Grand Lackey Erkh is a great fit in any Rogue deck, simply because Rogues don't like infinite value, they like tempo and this card is pretty bad for tempo, being a 4 mana 2/3 that you have to pay additional mana into to get value. The reason that my Giant Rogue list works well with the lackeys is they can generate tempo AND replace themselves in hand with additional resources.
This deck is so powerful ! I feel pretty bad for those facing it ! The lackeys enable so much play with both giants. I didn't see much counter deck while playing it.
You get my upvote
Exactly!! All the card generation and cheap lackeys are perfect synergy for the giants :D. And drawing 0-mana cost giants always feels so good on your swing turns haha.
I appreciate the upvote, and I'm glad you're liking the deck!
Yo Funki, despite your weird bones and inability to bend your appendages certain ways, you are a baller of a dude and a master deck builder! Cheers man!
Hahahahah at least I can move a mouse and type on a keyboard, that's all that counts. thanks so much for the kind words!! <3
I like the deck so far, but why no kronx? Seems like an auto-include
Good question! The deck is already a bit more expensive than your typical Tempo Rogue list so another 6-drop is very clunky to play. We can always do better than playing a 6 mana 6/6, and we don't necessarily need to tutor our Galakrond to win games since we have so many other threats. Galakrond is just a nice bonus when we draw him
About to give this shit a shot, mate. Just watched you rock it in your stream to great success. Excited to try it and see if I can finally break out of ladder rank 5 in to 4!
Good luck! I hope it works just as well for you too :)
