Wild Unknown Shaman Ranked

1) Play the Control game and eventually corrupt Dunk Tank and Circus Medic

2) Play them to control even more

3) ??? (*)

4) Profit

(*) Combo Time:

Use your upgraded Hero Power, play Lightning Bloom into Y'Shaarj, the Defiler to get a hand full of corrupted zero mana damage cards. Keep in mind that the Medics also have a battlecry, so given the handspace at the start of the turn and corrupted cards played, you can deal a maximum of:

If you had to use both Lightning Blooms to stay alive, these numbers drop as follows:

Some things to consider:

  1. Against Aggro decks, healing battlecries are your friend. You don't necessarily need a combo to win the game. Oftentimes a doubled battlecry on Hagatha and her Horrors is enough to win a game as long as you are not dead by then.
  2. Against Control you are quite favoured. This is especially true against slower priests as you just have to take care of the board until you have assembled any sufficient part of the combo.
  3. Against Tickatus Warlock you MUSTN'T lose Y'Shaarj. Usually they damage themselves considerabely during their game so sometimes a single Medic does the job. Even Lightning Bloom is not paramount to have. Just clear their board and pick some HP when possible.
  4. Don't be afraid to use a Lightning Bloom early on to stop early aggression - that's why there's two in this deck! :) [Also: By drawing Y'Shaarj with Farsight you might use both blooms]

And some final observations:

  • Y'Shaarj won't give you the cards in the order they were played. So sometimes, when you need to gamble, you need to... take the bitter pill. Looking at YOU, priest that had 1 HP (down from 29) left and played Nozari right next...
