I built this deck because the meta was absolutely swimming in Quest Mages (and because I got Lost in the Park from the rewards track). You can beat Quest Mages because:
A) You play no minions in the early game, which makes it hard for them to cast most of their Frost and Fire spells
B) You can use Mutanus the Devourer to eat Arcanist Dawngrasp one's they're in hand
C) You gain tons of armor
D) C'Thun, the Shattered is an eventual win condition
E) It's pretty good against other decks too!
First off, for those who haven't played it, you can complete Questline steps gradually (hero power 4 times, for example). While not ideal, this does mean you can make progress even if you haven't drawn your main attack buffs (Feral Rage, Moontouched Amulet, and Pounce).
You only run 2 minions: Mutanus the Devourer for eating combo pieces, and Taelan Fordring for drawing Mutanus (or C'Thun). This means Fungal Fortunes works great.
Ramp your mana, stack your armor, draw through your deck. Celestial Alignment, if played at the right time, gives you the advantage, especially if you can follow it up with Nourish.
Have fun, and feel free to leave suggestions!
